My headcanon right now is that the only living beings in our sense of the phrase left are the light creatures. That or we just can't see those who haven't died yet. We're in some kind of transitional space between the spirits being mortals and them going to the sky to become a star in the next 'realm'. They're all just spirits not ready to ascend yet.

resizes are completely random, there's no way to influence what height you roll i will say there's no noticeable difference between being almost max height and actually max height though

There's a certain height fluctuation between sky kids like some are a bit on the taller size, some are on the smaller size but there's 4000 different sizes, so those fluctuations aren't very noticeable, you can still be tall
