I'm bad at explaining but yes, you can buy base game capes from the spirits that you unlock and you can buy it from them in the ending constellation (during a temple cutscene) or from home, and usually costs hearts I think
You can also get the capes from travelling spirits, whenever they come ^_^

Hearts are much harder to obtain and are used for some fancier cosmetics, so in a way, they are! You get them from friends, and only occasionally from spirits until you've bought them all up. Candles are used for most things, so there's a big focus on that. You can get around 20 candles every day, so don't worry too much

I consider someone a moth still if they’re wearing a combination of recent TS cosmetics, would be weird to fake being a moth that way, so it’s not easy to be wrong.

It's okay, that's probably the first time you'll see hearts. Traveling spirits generally have one heart available for 3 candles as well, but once you've bought it, you can't buy one from that spirit again. Hey cozy! Just sharing some love for this game. I started my journey in Sky during season of Enchantment, took a break between Assembly and Flight, came back and then after Aurora stopped again. I have so much going on with work and studying and all that, but every once in a while I would think back to this game when I used to play every single day, which I think pretty much sums up the impact this game can have on someone. Anyways, I decided to once again return just to check out how everything was, and I really feel the need to express how amazed I am at how the team keeps expanding this universe so creatively! The narratives, the new spaces, new features, the feeling of rediscovering Sky while also triggering so many memories is just amazing. Besides- I don’t think TGC wants to encourage candle grinding, which is why they added chevrons to cap the daily candle amount at 20-21 candles. I’d argue the expensive prices that exist for cosmetics so they feel more rewarding for the effort you do put in, as well as like, “don’t throw your candles out carelessly because there may be paste event stuff you want!” That idea there is reinforced by using event tickets now for new cosmetics so you don’t have to think about new cosmetics as well as past cosmetics.

Technically you should be able to get everything the last day if you unlocked everything minus the hearts until then

The pass is more like a "you can't get these items until next year " sort of thing it seems, along with ults.

You can also get an extra season candle every day from pass if you bought it early that's almost an extra 80 candles. :3
