If you mean the new season area, that's not how it works. The idea is for other players to take the stage and play music. There's no scripted sequence or anything.

Basically you are totally competing against each other. The medals are given based on how many people are in the server e.g 2G 2S 2B if 6 in the server. And if everyone has all checkpoints, the shortest time takes the win

Team competition will mostly bring animosity, frustration and overwhelming to some players, instead of competition spirit.
Second - if we have none of team competition, then it's great opportunity for players to choose their side, picking from 5-,

i mentioned this on reddit but it really does feel like they're trying to flex how many models they can render at once like it's a gamecube tech demo 😭 the problem is that it's optimized for higher-end devices so if you're on an older phone or a cheap laptop or like..... most switches it's going to lag really badly
