If you’re in the ice rink area (with the double door), try the cliffs there! There’s one really sneaky spirit up there. Caused me some trouble on my first Valley run.

And if you couldn’t see Leap, that’s because they’re a seasonal spirit! You’ll get the ability to later, though.

But anyways a good trick to check if there's any left available in a certain area is using that little question mark help and I'll tell you if there's any spirits left in the area.

The Season of Performance Act II quest has our Skykid telling a story in a choose-your-own-adventure-esque format. Did you know that this is the only quest in Sky that features your Skykid talking?

Whenever you shift the background panels in the theatre, music from the respective realm will play!

Season of Moments, and by extension Prairie Peaks, showcases the only area we see in Sky that has been untouched by the architecture of the Sky Kingdom (not counting map shrines)! Prairie Peaks is a completely untamed land

Love Season of Abyss! Did you know that during the season itself, players would have to meditate in Treasure Reef to summon a special manta (the same one we see in the final quest) who teaches us how to dive! I believe this was changed in a later update as swimming/diving is now enabled for all players from the start, so this cutscene no longer exists.

Additionally, the ice rink in Valley of Triumph once held water in it! But right before Season of Abysss, the water here was removed to prevent moths from breaking through the ice and being at risk of drowning. Moffs are safe now!

During Season of the Little Prince, the mural above the old direct entrance to Starlight Desert in Vault of Knowledge was a direct copy of the famous drawing from Le Petit Prince, which depicts a snake who swallowed either an elephant or a hat. At the end of this season, this mural was changed to instead be the Season of the Little Prince pendant!

The Wind Paths was inspired by the old Sky: Light Awaits Aviary! They wanted to capture a similar vibe that such a place once had.

The Wind Paths was also home to some hilarious (and sometimes terrifying) bugs back in the day! This included a weird bug that could teleport you into the old, old homespace with old friend star collection mechanics (manually going to light spots and picking up the light to collect it), as well as a bug that could quite literally register the current season as over, therefore converting your seasonal candles and hearts to regular currency and temporarily locking you out of finishing the season (in the event that a seasonal heart got converted). Don't worry! These bugs are all fixed and have been for quite some time, and all who were once affected were compensated

There is a lot of ways to get candles easily!
There are the daily quests, at the statue next to the portals to the realms
But also candle wax, which you can get by lighting up candles.
There are multiple events that let you get more wax too. For exemple, every two hours, there's the geyser at Sanctuary Islands and Grandma at the Forest that gives quite a lot of candle wax.
You can check when they arrive using some commands here i forgot sry aaaaaaaa

You need to collect wax from lighting red candles on the ground, alongside going to social areas, going to the geyser and going to Grandma's - and then you can forge candles when the meter is full.
Every 5 candles, you lose a chevron on your candle meter; this makes forging them slower.
However, this resets every day.

Like-- There's animal crossing, cauz u know, it's the whole concept and selling point of Animal Crossing: "The game continue on its own when you're not playing!"

oh real i love the idea of a game's day/night cycle being a full 24 hours especially for games you're supposed to play over a long period of time like life sims and mmos but i can't think of any game that does that besides sky and the pokemon games that weren't on the switch i guess there's the issue of some people only being able to play for a short amount of time (my memories of alpha sapphire are all at night since i could only play after dinner 😭) but if it's singleplayer there could totally be a feature to skip 12 hours to flip the cycle, sun and moon postgame-style or just select what time it is whenever you start the game, animal crossing-style

If skyfest irl and skyfest in-game are synced, how far does it go? Can you see IRL visitors in-game like skids with festival tech? And are there things to attempt to show in-game skids irl?

I mastered eden earlier with roughly 60% of a candle made only stopped by the meter turning gray

and even then i mustered more when the wax caught up

the onsite visitors you can probably see with fest tech provided they're also logged in to Sky
as for showing the in-game skykids what's going on onsite there are some cinema areas that will livestream the talks and stuff but that's about all we'll see
