I used to think was on a small rat hole in valut of knowledge and the desert was what actually was outside of vault

Yeah! It was for quite some time. But a few updates ago, it got turned into the collab room.

Hence why my current headcanon is that Starlight Desert is some distance from Vault. It’s a Vault area, but crossing the desert to Vault itself is taxing for any skykids in the area.

Same. It’s really hard to place, especially as it’s day there as opposed to Vault’s night. But it could be that Starlight Desert is enchanted to always be at night or whatever.

Maybe it borders both Wasteland and Vault, but is in a safe zone and is considered Vault territory.

Well, when you think about it, Vault as a realm is probably as big as any other realm but we only traverse it vertically, where the physical Vault of Knowledge is.

No doubt! I expect that Vault’s jurisdiction is the northern desert and the foothills surrounding Eden (but not quite on the mountain itself). Maybe some other areas if they get attached to Vault.

If I was any good at map-making, I’d be so tempted to try and draw up my interpretation of what the Sky kingdom might look like. But there’s also the matter of verticality, too, though, which complicates things - I think Prairie and Wind Paths are both somewhat airborne.

My thinking is that the Collaboration room is just a room of portals. Starlight Desert is within Vault (realm) territory, close to the Vault (building). Crescent Oasis is also in Vault territory, but it’s a distant borderland. Curiously, they both have their own rulers

Yeah, I’m kind of picturing Crescent Oasis as being a distant town basically on the borders of the Sky kingdom.

Though it’s certainly curious! Perhaps in the culture of the spirits, being a king, or a prince, or a princess, or a queen is basically like saying you’re the mayor.

'clip into' like clipping textures- if you select a basic outfit you don't have, add shoes to that, and then exit the wardrobe it'll snap back to whatever outfit you had on originally, but with the shoes still present. you can smack shoes onto any outfit you want like that lol

Hey yall so anyone remember that season idea I had, called Season of Expedition? So basically if you dont know its my idea for a season based in a museum/observatory (realm tbd), where you are part of a research team for said museum, and you are tasked with going to multiple different small wildlife reservation areas, one in each realm, all packed to the brim with flora and fauna. You, as a part of the team, use your upgraded camera (now capable of identifying creatures, plus some other new features) to catalog the creatures of both light and dark, in the process filling out exibits for each creature back at the museum. Sort of like mini-Prairie-Peaks areas, they really only serve the purpose of looking pretty with all the animals once the season is over.
So basically, what I need help with, is some ideas for new creatures! Either light or dark. Birds, marine life, something else, you name it! Also open to suggestions for exhibits at the museum.

Frantic Stagehand's might look scary, but it's surprisingly easy to learn. It's like Cannoneer's in that, once you get the patterns down, it's surprisingly easy to get right. But the patterns shift often enough to make it more difficult than Cannoneer's, and the ending I just can't get right because it always throws me.

Nowhere near the same weight class as Yeti, that's for sure. Or Bird Whisperer's. Why is one of the two hardest music sheets in the game literally the first one a moth is likely to encounter???

Traveling spirits are spirits from past seasons who return to give new players a chance to get their swag. They become findable after completing Eden the first time iirc 🌋

Sky uses a system called seasons : they are limited time events that last a few months
Each season has its own cosmetics, and they also bring new spirits to sell those cosmetics
You can find these spirits across the world after you finish Eden, they'll be the purple ones
They are here to allow you to get cosmetics from past seasons
However once you find and relive their memory, you need to wair for them to show up at aviary
A random spirit shows up once every other week

Also
The spirit currently available (if there is one) will appear in a golden color
They also take a gold color if they're involved in a daily quest
And when their season isn't over

usually they give a tip where it is, and the traveling spirit is orange color one

Personally when i looked at the wiki for cosmetics to aim for, i straight up marked all TS cosmetics as unobtainable
So i only focus on yearly events, regular spirits and on going seasons

I do not plan ahead for my skid's looks with them in mind, only change my plans if the opportunity happens to show up

The funny thing for me about dream TS cosmetics is taste changes. I always wanted jelly whisperer's pants and when I finally got them I was so happy. I wore it a lot and then Anxious Angler's visited one day and I fell in love with their pants, and now I never wear Jelly's That's the fun of TS visits imo, what they bring might surprise you.

nooo sadly, itd usually so they can get a head start i think, that happened to my friend too but u can still play w them during tutorial!

If they're a new player, the tutorial is unskippable until you've played through it, same goes for all cutscenes (aside from a handful that are unskippable), once they're played through, they're skippable though!

They have to complete the first part of isle first
You can add them with a code and tp to them afterwards but they still have to complete everything to be able to play with you properly

Everything bought with the seasonal hearts is a ug(ultimate gift)

You can get the hearts once you own a season pass, which costs real money. You can buy the ultimate seasonal items using those hearts

You can still get seasonal candles without the pass! You just can't get certain cosmetics without the pass, which usually come back as a ts (aside from iap items and ults, of course, unless we're lucky and an Aurora event happens again lol)
