i think the point of the new collab room in vault is so tgc doesn't have to worry about making collab areas visually fit with the rest of sky, but i still think it's cool that every vault season that takes place outside is in a desert like it's totally plausible that the crescent oasis is a short walk away from starlight desert

you'll have to go through the final area of the game to get currency to unlock a lot of the basegame items but also you're in luck because you started playing RIGHT at the start of a season, about half of the items this season can be obtained without buying a pass

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! Sky’s a favourite of mine. Been playing a while now, still love it.

How far into the game are you yet? We’ve actually got a season ongoing right now, which will probably be your easiest method! It’ll require access to the sixth realm, but check the statue by the portals every day, and any realm the guide stands in front of, scour the first area in each for four golden candle clusters. Both your dailies and said clusters will get you seasonal candles to put towards cosmetics from this season.

Otherwise? I’d recommend you take a look at the base-game constellations. You can trade candles and hearts to the spirits you meet for more cosmetics. One thing I’d recommend exploring for are past seasonal quests, too, as those can be a source of hearts while you’re still out and making friends.

Ah, Hidden Forest? Yeah, it can be a little rough going through for the first time, but I’m sure you can do it! Just stick close to any source of light you can find, and don’t forget to keep looking for Winged Lights. The more of them you have, the more wedges you can get. And the more wedges you have, the longer you can endure the rain.

Forging onwards is all well and good, but don’t hesitate to go back to the first two realms if you need. Exploration is perfectly okay.

I took a look, and tomorrow’s dailies will actually be in Daylight Prairie! Perfect timing. So when you log back on after reset, check the statue in the centre of the portals.

the rain there will drain your light but luckily the area is full of shelter and light sources i usually hop between the glowing shelf mushrooms to stay dry but it's possible to zoom through the area without getting fully drained if you're fast enough

i play on both switch and mobile the controls on switch are a little weird to get used to but you can always use the touchscreen to interact with menus and buttons if you're playing undocked

Okay so I've reused a few oc names, Serena and Serena Woodsworth are two exceptions, as their concepts are different and Woodsworth literally canonically made Serena herself, so the naming was purposeful (also Serena Woodsworth just rolls off the tongue really well, and Serena was named by someone from the skycord, whoever you are, if you're still here, I'm still incredibly grateful for you!)
And I'm thinking.. I have a demon oc named Daímonas, I think I made him before I made the sky daímonas, and I'm thinking of making them the same character in general (which would add a lot of strange plot holes but also make sense since Woodsworth is actually a canon author for my non-fandom ocs!)

They are capable of server merging with those they've blocked, but the blocked person won't be able to see you or interact with you. You can see their name over their head but to them you'll just be an unlit stranger

I think it's a mix of things, some people have experienced being chased for wearing popular cosmetics (especially if they're no longer obtainable), and some people have been ridiculed for not being as experienced at the game visually, that's also why they changed our cape silhouettes to basic, before we used to be able to see the outline of all capes even when people were unlit

HEY i have a story i've been wanting to share

So i mostly play sky w my bf right, we're both aware that his phone is a bit of a potat so sometimes sky doesn't run smoothly for him. Other things that may bother our session is his keyboard lag where he can't type things, so to signal me we agreed on the emote that it means "keyboard lag, no talk"

It happened once in a session so naturally he spammed the emote on me, coincidentally, a stranger walks up and noticed him crying, what they did? They > > to cheer him up. I picked up quickly and copied what they did to help ease the situation, lastly the stranger on us and went on their way. Obviously i HAD to blow kisses their way because MAN THAT'S SO SWEET??
