Yeah, I get that. I only really buy season passes, myself, because I like to show my support. I’ve only extremely rarely been tempted to buy an IAP. I honestly think the learning part of college and uni is the best thing, but the degree at the end is a piece of paper with numbers and letters on it - it CAN help in certain circumstances and sometimes it's a requirement, but in other situations it's really more about your experience.

Society is really tricky to navigate when the world is set up the way it is, places want fresh faces with years and years of experience but it's hard to get that as young and new out of school or college.

Ultimately I think it's about doing what makes you happy and holding onto the little wins in life, things society might consider big like degrees can be great, but the experiences and the learning are what we can really cherish and you don't need to go to a fancy school for that.

I do wish it was easier and a global reform of education would be amazing, give everyone access to all the wonderful resources of learning and experience

The first time I really recognised myself getting a better grip on flying was during a red shard event in Starlight Desert, so I’m willing to say Shattering, even if I’m not sure it happened during the season itself. I learned during that event how helpful manipulating the camera during flight could be for quick turns and more accurate flying.

It was during the second half, when I had to collect the jellies in the air.

Golden wasteland for me, it's like throwing a kid into water and expecting them to swim
But instead of having to learn how to swim to avoid drowning. You gotta learn how to fly to not get krilled

I feel like I learned the basics of flight quicker than most moths - I see so many fly around with the closed wings, instead of open. I guess I just happened to see the prompt and ask “Hmm, what does this do?”

That being said, I still wasn’t good at it, and I hoofed it everywhere because I didn’t want to waste wings.

I had a season pass for my partner and my long time vet friend (Not the vet that adopted me. They're long gone)

But i used to have a friend that manipulated me into buying season passes for them. They used to buy me candles or a cosmetic during the lead up to the season, especially if there was an event going on.

I caved a few times, but it made them ask for more things, so, eventually, i just reported them and blocked them. It's scary how entitled skykids can feel towards something 😭😭

If you want to find them again, there should be a way to teleport to them in the homespace! Check the circular gray pad close to the portals. You can see the friends you've made there. As well as the constellations for the realms you've explored.
