Giving this more thought, I think the snake, in his simplest form, is death. Perhaps not a wholly good or evil entity or force, and it's unknown if he was telling the truth to the Prince about being able to bring him home. But his claims about his power, to me, speak of the inevitability of it:

"But I am more powerful than the finger of a king."
"I can carry you farther than a ship... those I touch, I return to the dust from whence I came."
And in response to the Prince asking why he speaks in riddles: "I solve them all."

That last one was cryptic to me when I first read it, but reading it now, it seems to speak to me of inevitability: what do riddles matter in the face of eternity? And the other quotes do support that: no power can match what he is at his essence; everything returns to dust eventually.

I actually don't think the snake technically has ill intent. He's a wild and primordial force that can't be controlled, perhaps not even by himself. He just is.

I'm trying to figure out how to articulate my thoughts here, sorry, without getting too much into a text wall, or too deep into the darker side of my interpretation of him. So I guess a TLDR version of what I'm trying to say is: snake's pretty much just the grim reaper.

Oh, yeah: there's another part of it I forgot to add to that text wall. I do think, in a sense, the snake also stands for infinity and rebirth. The image of the snake weaving around the Prince's ankle in the book ("He wound himself around the little prince's foot, like a gold anklet") is one that sticks out weirdly in my mind, and while I'm aware I'm probably overthinking it, that image to me kind of evokes the image of the Ouroboros, or the snake eating its own tail, to me. According to Google, one thing that the Ouroboros represents is 'unity and the natural eternal cycle of destruction and recreation'. Infinity, in a sense, too, at least that's my own reading of it.

I think my own personal interpretation is that the Prince himself follows in a similar cycle to the skykids - of dying and rebirth, happening infinitely over and over again. The kid definitely seems magical in at least some capacity. Maybe he did return to his home planet; maybe not as the same entity, but in the end, he may have finally made it home to see the rose again.

But it also seem entirely plausible the snake represents evil. The “dust” references the Bible where the devil uses the snake as a puppet and introduces death and suffering to humanity through his lies and the humans who believed him.

Thank you! I admittedly don't look into it much, but when I'm motivated to, I'm really motivated.
And that's fair! I know the serpent is generally considered an evil symbol, so I can't blame anyone for thinking that the snake is making a promise to the Prince that he has no intention of keeping. It's also a very valid interpretation.

For sure! I guess I'm a little more optimistic, in that way, kind of seeing the snake as simply a morally neutral force of nature. And he definitely does tempt the Prince.

So my first idea for a Sky x ComicAurora season is for the spirits to be the entire floof squad. Everyone offers their hair except for Erin who just gives you five capes- Tess can give you his hairstyle since they're the same anyway.
The seasonal area would be the singing caves so you could access all of the areas

The season guide would be Vash, being a glowing blue orb in the singing caves.
The quests guide you through the full first arc, each quest being the main plot points that happen.

One of my main ideas is for the Eden mountain to have "the storm" on it during the season, it would fit perfectly, especially since it is a storm, and it would look so cool.

There will be many ways to collect light for 14 days. From fireworks and dragon dance to some spirits giving wax when you relive their memories so if you have the time I suggest reading up on it on the wiki or have a player show you around when it starts

The way i see things is
If you are a hoarder, the TS's arrival date doesn't matter because you'll still spend the exact same amount of money during the course of the event, and farm the exact same amount
While if you focus on what you like, the event lasts long enough that you could be flat broke after the TS and still get enough time to farm for some masks

The event lasts 2 weeks, it is not possible for the gap between 2 TS to jump all the way over fortune
So if you hoard you'll end up spending the candles regardless, and if you don't the luck will be on who the TS is, not when

What I mean is that hoarding during the event is hard if you spend your daily grind on envelopes. One envelope is 14 leaving you with 6 a day. So if most of your budget is spent on the TS it can be really hard to grind enough for all of them

Learn your favourite songs on Sky instruments off Youtube! Maybe learn to compose songs on the various programs that exist compatible to Sky's music instrument interface!

i suggest caring a little less about cosmetics and cr-ing, it does get boring!

fun things to do include: learn songs on instruments, put on plays at the theatre with friends. adopt moths, playing handicapped sky (like set some limitations to your usual playing style eg. only walk, no glitches allowed, no FLYING allowed, etc etc)
