Am i the only one that feels like Aviary was a.. bit of a let down? I understand that what we see for the Project Aviary video is very early concept, and stuff is subject to change in it over the years, but to me it feels cramped right now. well i recommend doing the first time by yourself or with friends, but if you don't want/can do either of those things you can technically look in #looking-for-group-live for someone who can guide you through eden, though it might be less fun that way, especially since it would still be your first time in eden right now

Okay so!! The winged light indicator in Isle of Dawn is bugged

And the Eden wing is right where I thought it’d be: the very first one at the top of the first area. It’s really close to a loading zone, so if you grab it but rush into the next area before the animation finishes and adds it to your cape, it’ll register as uncollected

I’d like to see kinda how the sky kingdom came to be, like during the season of Aurora, the concert showed scenes of certain stufff that def would look cool animated

So with it being sky it should be emotional.
We start with a lil flock of sky kids and an older sky kid as their mentor.
An event occurs leaving the flock all alone with the mentor nowhere to be found, that's when they must face the challenges of the realms alone and face adversity to get to Eden.
Of course after the sad event of Eden they see their mentor in the afterlife (Turns out he died in the event)
The mentor states how far they've come and how proud they are and proceeds to sacrifice their own life essence to give the lil sky kids another chance at life (rebirth)
With this selfless act an abundance of sky kids are created and blasted throughout the realms.
(It may not be the prologue we want but I feel its a good explanation as to how a loy of us came to be in this broken kingdom.

I just made friends with a moth who was losing light in the forest treehouse, but I'm not sure what they were trying to do there. and then they did something I can't mention because of server rules, so I wound up blocking them. nothing offensive, just something that violates terms of service

I'd rather Sky not get the same rep, myself, because it doesn't work right on PC.

Skull Caverns is fun, though! If you want my advice - get the Bandit Ring so you can get Spicy Eels from the serpents. Those work alongside coffee for even higher speed.

Personally I loved the connection we developed with the Hopeful Steward in the start of the season, and then the final quest + the festival helped to tie that together
Also the cutscenes. From the animations of the spirits to the blurring and focus, it’s just on point this season, really hope they continue that into future seasons

The fireworks festival is so pretty yesterday I went to watch it again and there were a couple newer players (not moths) and it was definitely their first experience. In that case, if you’ve not been there before, have you seen the spirit gate in the entrance to Valley of Triumph? That’s Village. I believe that requires a spirit from the next area to access. Once you’re through, you have access to every connected area to it, so that includes Hermit Valley.

First and last light are gorgeous I dress my Skykid in the colors of the golden hour each day, which happens usually right before last light. It's the hour in the morning and evening where the sunrise/sunset is just perfect

Part of why I love nighttime Aviary so much is because the lighting reminds me so much of last light in the evening - the way Eden and the moon lights up the clouds in the distance while the sky is a very faint blue

Saying that, though, I’ve actually been appreciating Isle a ton more lately. As much as I normally hate sandy places, there’s just something about it that has a vibe that no other place, both in and outside of Sky, does.

If I ever have music on, too, I always travel through the tunnel, because Threshold is another favourite song of mine, and it only seems to trigger there.

My favourite realm as a whole is Valley, I love sliding down the slopes and some of my most emotional memories of Sky took place in Valley's Colosseum!

Isle is super underrated sometimes! I LOVE the Isle Temple music and there's another track that plays only if you run up the big rock with the winged light standing there which helps new players fly towards the Isle Temple which I really love

Well, let’s see, though… For Those Who Have Come Before is a definite favourite. Though there’s some competition from Gentle Flight there - one of the two I’d say are my absolute favourite.

But all of Eden is good. The rest of Vault. The music on the outside of the Repository is heartbreaking and I love it. A World Below has that one super satisfying section, and I always need to jump above the surface to fully appreciate it. All of Aviary’s music. Need I go on?

Volume 1 contains a lot of tracks from all of Sky's realms and the soundtrack is mainly focused around music you hear during the main adventure, while Volume 2 includes miscellaneous tracks that weren't included in Volume 1. Volume 3 has lots of seasonal tracks, and so does Volume 4!

I like the two, I think there's two, main leitmotifs that are spread out throughout the OST. I like to think that one leitmotif represents the Skykid's mission, the other represents the Sky kingdom

It’s sort of like a recurring bit of music, if that makes sense? You could say that a character theme could be one.

There's what I like to consider the "Theme of the Child of Light" which plays in crucial moments like your first true flight up to the Isle temple, riding a manta to the Prairie temple, racing in Valley, ascending to the top floor of Vault, etc.

Then there's what I like to call the "Theme of the Sky Kingdom" which plays during moments that center more around the environment or the lore. Like Elder cutscenes (the end of Forest Elder's cutscene for example), seeing Golden Wasteland for the first time, during the moment of the crumbling castle after Eden, and much more!
