id consider myself lucky since i mostly only ever see instruments in Home or at the Valley of Triumph temple bonfire, and usually at the bonfire people will sit there n shut up til they’re done, then start absolutely SPAMMING kissy emotes and celebrate and clap and the like it’s amazing

There was a musician at home standing in the little candle circle where the ts show up, and I was playing with my camera at the time, so I decided to take some pictures. They went and got a different instrument and played another song and let me take pictures of that also. They were very sweet and many emotes were exchanged. Lol

I love watching people be creative and enjoying themselves in the game. It sucks there's people with nothing better to do than ruin the experience for others

If i can't do a full cr I'll usually at least do the realm the dailies are in, the realm with extra cakes, and grandma. That's my minimum daily routine in game

Alternatively it could be because the friendship hasn't progressed that far!! You need to at least be able to hug your friend to send heart packages.

So you gotta spend one more candle to unlock it after making a friend and you can do heart gifts

Oh!- my mistake. People who unlocked the heart with me typically have unlocked hug as well.
We give hugs as a thanks for the hearts.

We did. I am not sure what exactly happened but I tried to send a heart to someone who were already receiving a heart from another player then couldn't send or receive hearts from her anymore

It's also one heart gift per day per person
So you only get to send/recieve a heart once a day with each friend

I've had a similar situation happen between myself and a friend where we were trying to send each other hearts, however the constellations had a hard time even registering it. We just waited, trying again every few hours to see if we could send hearts.

If it didn't work by us gifting it to each other face to face, we'd try the constellation, and vice versa.

Playing an instrument is easiest with a touchscreen. Your options on PC are keyboard (which is bad unless you have a gaming keyboard because there are some inputs you can't type at the same time) or a controller (which is tough to figure out and play in contrast with a grid that you can touch)

It's got a demo on Steam, at least in my experience it works really well. The demo just doesn't have cash shop yet.

You can tap on notes with mouse or use the keyboard, but I find it hard to remember which button is which note still.

here's another switch typing pain, when you are sitting on a table full of other players, and their conversations go super fast as they're on mobile, by the time you type up your piece the topic already changed

how about how you control your skid (outside of instruments btw) is it clicking and them going to the spot you clicked, WASD/arrow controls, mix of both? How about flying is it the same controls as movement or do you use different keys (minus swapping from open to closed wings of course that’d have a button of its own whether its onscreen or on your keyboard)

WASD for movement and mouse as camera angle
Space for fly, tab for fly mode, Q for honk, E for menu, Esc for game setting, X for daily mission, C for forge

Basically you could find the key by pressing Z in game

Reminds me of when i played a hat in time and had to edit files for the game to be playable at all (because WASD doesn't work on non-QWERTY keyboards)

Playing PC demo with controller is a nightmare if you're used to the Switch control scheme. It took a lot of experimentation to make it even remotely similar and the way you do it is super jank. But it's the same problem on mobile so whatever

oh god the blinking… when i first started really getting into playing it (aka before i went into hibernation haha i haven’t played much recently) id cover the blinking with my thumb so it didn’t get overwhelming

i do the same thing with my bluetooth hesdphones bc they have this bright blue blinking light that shines right infront of you when it’s connected to bluetooth and playing something
really tempted to just put tape over the light (on my headphones)
id say that i shouldn’t bc it’ll warn me when the headphones are dying but like. The battery displays itself on a widget in my phone i can check any time.

Thinking about it, there were two statues during shattering, one with two orbs of Ancient Light, and the other with two orbs of Ancient Darkness.

There's no true way of distinguishing between them, unless you mention which Orb's cosmetics, but even then in the Vote, it only had the choice for Light or Darkness. Which makes me believe that if, say, Ancient Darkness came as a TS, it'd have every cosmetics from both Ancient Darkness's Orbs.

Personally I hate snails because they've overrun my garden multiple times and I've had to pick them out by hand. Also one time I saw a... video of a parasite infested snail... that was kind of traumatizing. But that's just cuz of personal experience.

Also, I only really ate them once cuz I'm an adventurous eater (I'm personally interested in tarantula) so I wanted to try it. Yeah definitely not worth it. Just keep them as pets, as long as they don't bother me I don't care.
