The important part of the game is the experiences you have and the friends you make, from personal experience, the novelty of new cosmetics wears off FAST. Please don't feel pressured by FOMO, you wallet will thank you

Yeah, honestly, usually, I don't even get IAPs! I stick to season passes, and that's more so because I love Sky so much - if my £10 every couple months helps keep the game running, especially if I like the cosmetics coming from the season, then that's money well spent to me.

It's just that looking back, that's my biggest Sky regret. About my only one, too.

Thanks! I’ve recovered from it now, but hoo boy, ten or so high-priority spirits in that one timespan is not fun. I was CRing at Mach 10 for 3/4ths of the season.

That’s fair! I personally really like them, but tastes differ.
I think one thing they’re doing is, giving tribute to past Sky seasons and Sky itself, especially with the capes, given that they resemble Gratitude, Rhythm, Enchantment, and Abyss capes.

everyone can play the game in different ways and have their own reasons to play, at the end of the day theres really not much to work for in sky except cosmetics. you finished a base game constellation? your reward is a special hair/mask. finished a season constellation? reward is ultimate gifts. what do you buy with candles and hearts? cosmetics.
