Hiya Cozy Chat! How have you been enjoying the new Event so far?

To be honest with everyone, the only cosmetic this event that I enjoy is the top hat 🎩 which is something that I've been wanting since the imperial hat from Dreams was released. Everything else feels mediocre (and overpriced).

Of course, the highlight of the event is not always the cosmetics. I think the runway concept is pretty cute and very reminiscent of Aurora's concert (where she had her own runway). TGC always thinks of a neat idea to integrate new features into seasons and events ever since the advent of shared spaces from Season of Assembly.

Aurora's music are indeed beautiful. However, one might be surprised as to how she portrays her music into music videos. She paints a different picture compared to one what might personally paint in a canvas. Take for example her music video Animal which is rather grotesque and explicit. There is also the Apple Tree music video.

However, this is not the case for all music videos since the very famous ones like Runway are scented with bliss and cold.

I recommend you listen to her album A Different Kind of Human — Step 2 first. As you do, I want you to make a first impression of the songs you hear. Afterwards, you should watch the music videos for The River, Animal, and Apple Tree and compare your reactions to those music videos to your first impression of the songs you've heard. It's a bewildering experience.

You should check them out! I haven't listened to A Different Kind of Human in full yet, but at the same time, it's still one of my favourite albums. Even my least favourite song on there, Apple Tree, is still one I really, really like.

My personal favourite is Infections Of A Different Kind. The lyrics resonate with me very well. It is an imperial affliction to behold the pessimism towards the God that governs us all in this universe.

Death and existential crises are one of the many themes of Aurora's songs. But we all like to listen more to love as it is more comforting than anything else.

Yeahhh...I've done both. Hells I've got a lot of guilt I can't absolve, and I feel like it's my own danm fault. Even if they could see these messages, idk if they'd care.. but you're right, that's a good summary of it. It's kinda like fire, actually. Fire warms the home and cooks food and keeps us safe from the cold...but can also leave homes in cinders, char forests and burn practically everything to a crisp.
