I don’t know how I can explain how my process goes, but… far as starting a story goes, I typically choose a basic setting or idea. Maybe even a character. One idea I have on the backburner, for instance, can be summed up as “a lonely pilot on a sea of clouds”. Even a singular baseline sentence can be built off of to build up a plan for a story.

It helps to have an established world, too, to save time figuring out the more mechanical details of your story. But if you don’t, that’s okay, too! Just takes a little more time. Or a lot more time, if you’re like me and love to worldbuild.

tbh it can help to be organized, but i would say for your first ever draft of a story, just sit down and GO. write. don't think about how things show up or why. just get all the words out onto the page even if it feels silly or not right. once that's done you can look over it and consider what you want to change, add, take out, etc.

Actually, on that note, I should also mention! I would actually consider playing around with both methods and see what works for you. I actually forgot about how some people could do better with just blazing into your story with no plan whatsoever. Heck, some people actually do better with a little bit of both!

I’m personally a planner - my charging in leads to me having a ton of plot holes in my stories, some I’m trying to patch up to this day in my own personal writing project, years later. But some people flounder with a plan, too.

One candle cake = 50 wax so I guess your question could be answered by how many permanent candle cakes exist throughout the realms. There's 32 permanent and 4 that change each day. So 36 x 50 = 1800 wax. As to how many candles that is exactly, that would depend on your chevrons, but assuming you start with full chevrons this would almost completely deplete all your chevrons, leaving you with 14 candles total.

Yeah, I seem to recall them being a lot cheaper even in the Wii U days. But I've also heard that accounting for the value of money then and now, games are around the same price or maybe even cheaper? I don't understand economics. All I understand is, paying £50 for a game kind of bites.

Honestly, if you enjoy that kind of game (and especially if you've played Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons before, considering it was very much inspired by that series), I'd say go for it! It's actually got a heck of a lot of content, especially when you account for the asking price. I don't know how many hours of it I've played total, but I know it's one of my top 3 games.

I love games too! But all the high prices on games means you need to be careful and do your research so you don't blow a bunch of money on something that's actually just a no-effort cashgrab disguising itself as a game. Cough cough Overwatch 2 cough cough Diablo 4. I recommend waiting 2 weeks to a month or so to see what the internet thinks of it, and try to find spoiler-free reviews of the game if you can.

There’s a lot more roleplaying in stardew. Like you do quests the whole game. And money is very important. And you can trade items for different benefits and stuff. And you can level up skills. So yeah

Yes and no? They share the same genre of life sim. Socialisation is a big part of both. You can fish in both. And your day centres around following a routine.

But Stardew is kind of more so the Harvest Moon side of things (I don't know if you have familiarity with it at all, but it's the best parallel I have). Days are faster, about an hour per minute (it's not exactly that, but I can't remember), and the townspeople are set rather than rotating in and out.

They're those things you trade AC for. When you go through Orbit, any spirit you've handed over AC to will give you an extra winged light. So instead of starting out with a singular light, you could start off with 20 if you've unlocked that amount of spirits.

Actually... I think I have gotten slightly taller than average once. But it wasn't close enough to max height for my liking and I had like 20 more spells so I was like "I can get taller". I did not get taller. In fact, that was one of the instances where I ended up stuck small enough for chibi run in the end.

When she opened the door, Adrah was met with the sodden face of her sister clutching what seemed to be a child close.

i would really like to have the option of having wing darkness and wing lights

as someone said, one would be contrary to the other, and i think that having to many dark wings could make krills stop attacking you, but you would not be able to get candles, but another currency for new items

also being a dark kid would make light creatures as mantas attack you almost like krill but maybe with a few tweaks

As the world first pluged into darkness, the fallen stars had been burning away the plants... But Eden took them all. Took them away in ease and left nothing behind. The spirits needed to do something quick.. Little did they know it's already coming their way. Watching as a group of little beetles flying their ways here, the spirits didn't realise wgat was wrong. Until they saw it up close, that is. A beetle of darkness, grabbing onto one of them and took the lights out of the spirit. The lights scattered in fear, doing everything they can to escape their fate. A few did, yet most didn't. The taken ones were turned into a puppet of the dark, walking senselessly around the realms and attacking as they see light. The realms are yet another abyss and a graveyard for stars, lights and spirits.

Character choice:
Survivor (with previous knowledge of the parasite event, can follow Newly Fallens, and cannot save spirits that has been fallen)

• Scouts (Flying ability)
• Guides (Able to appear at any moment beside the Newly Fallens)
• Guards (Ability to destroy darkness creatures, but puppets are too much for them.)
  Newly Fallen (Without previous knowledge, though have the ability to save the darkened spirits)
• No special subgroups and no special powers
  Darkened Spirits (Spirits infected with darkness.. Hostile, but if Newly Fallens are able to mend you by giving you their candle light you will revert to Survivors)
• Puppet (N/A, used to be guides but lost their ability)
• Scouts (As above)
• Guards (As above)

in my skyverse i have a kind of related thing to dark skids ? skids who are in extreme grief/mourning or some sort of period in their life will self exile themselves to the golden wasteland and live there for a while or the rest of their lives, becoming very darkly colored to fit with the surroundings (and also very muddy)

and as they are pretty charged up with light they are also harmful to dark kids

• each skid has a color of their own, its very rare to meet two skids with the same exact color, alike how light makes many colors :3
• skids usually dye their hair tips in their color, and veterans will dye both their moths and their own capes with the color of those in their family.
• painting your mask in your own color is a sign of celebration, while painting your mask with someone elses color is a sign of mourning.

Their primary language is very hard to understand at first because it mainly focuses on non-verbal cues and body language.

They do have some verbal aspects.

One is considered a ‘’call’’; kinda a “screaming to be heard” type deal.

The other one is considered a ‘’deep call’’ and it’s a “you have to experience it to understand it” situation.

Older Skykids can better communicate with others by mimicking the other languages. and they mimic them so well, that they may as well be fluent

uhmm another detail from my skyverse ? all accesories and items are handmade by skids, and purchasing an item from a spirit is just a spirit gifting you with the memory of how to make that item. moths will often approach their veteran family members and learn how to craft items from them, but some families make their own, entirely original items (that you wouldnt see in sky the game)
masks are made from wood (and sometimes gems), this wood can come from different areas around the sky world so some masks differ in appearance

There are two concerts before the encore concerts begin, both hosted by Nastymold, the first being on the 25th of August, which is the world record concert which will be able to sit ten thousand players in a single instance with the festival tech, and then on the 26th we will have a special concert, which we don’t know much about, but it will be announced at Gamescom.
