20 candles is the soft cap, aka when your candle goes grey. it's possible to get more than 20 though, but it takes a lot of time which i no longer have

so i usually take advantage of the off season days to get "max candles" daily

but it gradually gets painfully slow

gw isn't the best place to cr in, as it doesn't have a lot of wax- but if you're planning to, i recommend memorizing the dark plant rotations and where they all are! i also recommend going to gw when it's sunday, since that's the best dark plant rotation day, AKA THE DAY WHEN ALL THE PLANTS GROW AND LOTS OF WAX

if youre having trouble memorizing where each one is, and this may not work for you, but i was ubered enough times that it helped me learn routes. finding a quick route you like will take some practice, so go slowly to start. i used an online map of each area when i first started learning so i didnt miss any, and when i stopped using the maps, i made note of the ones id miss when i went back through the online maps after to check how i did. this can be made easier with the actual map shrine function in game too. best of luck, friend

I just had the most adorable music session with someone on sky, I was practicing runaway on the piano and I’m not a sky musician so I kinda suck (just being honest) but anyways someone came over and sat with me and just listened. And when I finished, they clapped and cheered and blew kisses even though there were many mistakes and unrecognizable moments and then they took out their guitar and played runaway and omg it was so good, they added chords and everything and when they finished obviously I clapped and whatnot, and then they did the to say “your turn” and so I played warrior of love, not as badly as runaway but yknow- and while I was doing that their friend came and sat with them and they both waved their little light orbs the whole time and after that they played through the eyes of a child and I nearly cried it was so cute- I didn’t add them as a friend because I think sometimes it’s nicer, and more life like that we have beautiful moments with strangers, and they will forever remain beautiful and simple

The current structure of Sky (omnipresent quest spirits and the TS system) makes that definition a lot more wobbly… imho it’s more about “what was your first experience of Sky?” rather than “let’s see your vintage wardrobe” (unless you count ults)
