But I try balancing it out with happy times because I think people who follow my art would think I'm a violent person or something....

Plus it's good for you to draw or make happy things. Too much sad things can be bad for your mental health.

Same for me. I love a touch of angst and adversity, but at the end of the day, I don’t want things to be utterly doom and gloom. That just spoils my good mood.

I like to think of good angst as a sunrise after a dark and rainy night. No matter how dark things get, I like knowing that there is some light that comes after it.

Like Adamn said, don’t worry - you can still get the free cosmetics! Anything up the straight ‘trunk’ of each spirit’s tree (so to speak) costs seasonal candles, but those can be acquired by doing the dailies (acquired by the statue at home) and collecting the four candle clusters in the daily realm. I imagine being slightly more sensible than , so maybe the former could get Leader of the Pack? Both of them are chaotic, yes, but they're more able to shape up in a pinch, and can very easily take on a leader role in their team. All right! Making friends is the most reliable way of getting them, essentially. If you kind of pick up random friends as you play, it's possible to gift light to and receive it from them. A little bit of that each day will make progress towards a heart. It might be slow going at first, but if you accumulate a bunch of active friends, you can make actually some pretty good progress towards it.

Alternatively, you can place message boats and memory candles! They'll still need some likes from friends in order to go public, but if you post something that attracts a fair bit of attention and it earns enough likes, there is a possibility of actually earning a heart from them!

A third option, if you have candles to spare - I would recommend going down to some of the past seasonal areas and completing the questlines there. Though the guides there have limited amounts of hearts, they sell a good few of them for three candles apiece, which can be good in case of emergency. My recommendation is that you check out Sanctuary Islands in Daylight Prairie first - it's a fairly easy one, and nearly immediately accessible.

I know this is gonna come across as rude, but it’s not my intention. It’s hard for everyone to get noticed considering that the Skycord is massive. Cozy may be a lot smaller than Gen, but there’s points in time that messages go by too fast for people to notice, or points in time where there’s a lot of silence, because people are busy.

If you don’t like cozy, we still respect you, but regardless, we try to acknowledge everyone.
