you could argue Sky is useless because it won't get you anywhere in life, you can't write down "I played Sky" as a qualification for anything and if you're really nihilistic you could say Sky is just a dumb game where you do the same thing over and over again. but I'm sure a lot of people here don't feel that Sky is meaningless and useless to them, yourself included - it makes them happy and lets them meet their friends. you see my point here?

I've been lurking and have noticed what's going on, and I gotta say... Starlight, whatever you want to do, go and do it. No one is gonna stop you. If you want to be a lawyer, go and do it. You have a good reason to become one and it's a respectable profession. However, just as a piece of advice, remember it is a balance. Balance and separation in your work, studies, social, and personal life are essential. Any of the three will suffer if one does not carry its weight. That's a lesson I've had to learn and I'm just putting it out there now

Yeah parents unfortunately are a third party that doesn't quite understand that balance, at least past generations of them. Heck my parents still slip into the mindset for my sister and I that studies always come first, no games, no music, no socials, just study to get better grades and get a good job. Though I know they trying, and I always argue with them too. They've kinda already accepted that games, music, and video editing are my comfort now, and all my studies are separate from that.

I always let spiders live in peace in my room whenever I spot them, and they've never bothered me and I spot them extremely rarely. But if I see any other bug, I go into war mode
I try to save bugs whenever possible, but when I see a huge creature try to quickly crawl into my bedsheets I go

Excluding tarantulas and black widows, larger spiders are actually nicer than smaller spiders.

I heard that spiders get bigger on taller buildings, likely as a form of adaptation to the atmospheric pressure decreasing (?)

A few weeks ago, there was a grasshopper in the house, and i went to try and catch it in a pair of cups to let outside, and it jumped straight up at my face xD.
Luckily my glasses stopped it, and it didnt cling onto me.
