i’ve read that even if u cant sleep, laying down and trying to sleep even for 20-30 minutes is better for ur body than trying to power through an all nighter or something without taking any sort of break at all even if u cant sleep, laying down for a bit with the intention to sleep can help give ur mind some rest and give ur body some of the benefits it’ get during sleep

i used to be a rlly bad insomniac in high school, one time i only got 18 hours of sleep in 2 weeks i would always fall asleep in school bc of it and then got stereotyped for always sleeping in class even tho once i was in my junior and senior years i would rarely ever sleep in class anymore

~~i think the only real reason other kids had an issue with me sleeping in class is bc i would still somehow make better grades than them even tho i slept like 90% of the time in some classes ~~

I think partly what it is, is that authors design a world, and then they want to expand it by writing more novels, but then they start to run out of good story plots, and reuse old ones... Idk if this is true, but thats how i feel about certain very long book series'
