good news: the update worked really well on non-snapdragon phones. with my samsung s7 it can run ||eden|| for more than 20 minutes on full brightness and the highest quality without overheating. (I added my phone case, which keeps in heat too)

this is why i have no bias for either andriod or apple. I've had andriod my whole life, im used to it, and its nice if you want to do extra fancy stuff to your own phone. But knowing things from a developing standpoint, and wanting to be a game dev myself, I like apple a whole lot more

LCD screens will "burn" things onto the screen but should disappear within an hour of not using your phone.
This happens on my phone with the Wing light burning onto my screen but it will go away after about an hour.

This happens to me on another app where it burns into the screen but does no damage to the phone

Yes it's heating faster. The "optimizations" introduced after 0.9.2 have made performance worse for higher end devices. Fps is smooth and ok. But device is getting hotter faster, and it's thermal throttling now. Using OnePlus 6 8gb ram version. Before 0.9.2 performance was smooth always as device didn't get too hot

I guess tgc has to make different settings, optimised for different device hardware. The high performance 60fps setting has to be optimised now!!

But device is getting hotter faster, and it's thermal throttling now. Using OnePlus 6 8gb ram version. Before 0.9.2 performance was smooth always as device didn't get too hot

It's mixup with when i plugged charger!! Otherwise i do see what app is causing how much battery so.. after full charge i play for like 30 mins or an hour I'm not sure in that time sky used 12% only while i minimized it alot 🥺😂

The headphones appear on your character when you play music or audio in another app while playing Sky. You can use them any time by putting on some tunes! (iOS only, until it's implemented for android)

I want to record screen in game sky, but I can't do it and the game displays the message "Google Play Games : To allow recording , please enable the Draw over other apps permission for Google Play Services". I accepted everything I could get in the settings, but it still didn't work. I use Xiaomi phone!

We settled on the Google Play recording functionality because implementing the iOS style native recording wasn't really feasible given the wide range of devices and OS combinations that we need to support, as well as lack of support in FMOD for getting at the audio stream like we're able to do on iOS. The Google Play feature does offer a couple of advantages over iOS, like recording yourself talking while playing. We'll continue to work on this feature and explore our options to bring parity between platforms, but because we're a small team, it'll take a lot more time and effort to do so.
