• try looking at reference photos of people skating to get a more dynamic pose
• take advantage of those fireworks to have fun with lighting! those colors can go all over the ice and your Sky kid
• when doing lighting, picture where the light is coming from (you can even draw little arrows) and logic out where it would fall and where it would create shadows

I use silver for white because it's the closest without making it too dark. But I currently use gray hair palette from procreate
