A lot of these characters have been designed in advance (some of them, like Seven and Kale, even came before Sky did). Usually, my OCs are made when I play a video game that allows for custom characters and certain combinations of things just stick out. Some of them, like Reigan, Oscura, and Judgement (and hell, even Zero) aren’t like this at all, and they’re the ones that came fully from my imagination. Maybe sketch it out and see how you feel? If the sketch takes a bit, that may give u an idea of how long it'll be. But honestly it depends on your strengths in certain areas. Sometimes sketching is super easy and quick, or coloring is, etc
