I think it looks great and I especially like the flowers already. you could decide your light source (like the child of light maybe) and lighten up those areas with a bright yellow or pink. Adding shadows from the flowers and highlighting the difference between the foreground and the background (using shadows and by keeping the highlights in the background more muted). making a layer over the line art and adding more highlights on the lighter or foregrounded areas in a brighter, more saturated colour. For you, this might mean adding small shapes on the flowers (like circles or ovals) to create the illusion of individual petals, the same with grass or stones. just my advice though, sorry if it might not work for you <:)
