Honestly looks way better then I could ever do, but for some constructive critisizm I think you could add more depth to it and some more shading In the background

I suppose how, is just add more shading to make t look more 3d, like yk where the lights coming in from the photo, ad more shading in where the light wouldn't shine, you can look for a video on YouTube about shading and light perception I think it will improve your art a bit even though its already pretty fantastic

Like add darker and lighter shades of the base color of where your shading, or even mix it up a bit and use a tan or light blue shades where light is suppost to be

And you can add a little transparent grey shading overtop of that to give it some depth

Cool bc I already wrote it-

I’d say one of the main issues is probably the perspective and detailing of the background, the colours are too closely related, which can make the drawing look more confusing from a distance, perhaps making the background a redder/darker/colder tone could make it feel more tridimensional.
Adding bluer hues as shading could be a nice way of separating different layers of backgrounds.
There’s also the light that comes through the building, from what I can tell, you seem to be looking at the bridge from the left, which could make the light hit the right side under the bridge, but not the left side(?. There’s also the fact that you can see the right side of the tower(? next to it, which makes the perspective look off.
Then there’s the details on the bricks, it looks a bit out of place since the rest of the background is so plain (as in… less texture). Perhaps adding a bit more texture using a png and a layer option (overlay/multiply) could give more texture to the walls.
The character feels very out of the image, since the light is coming from the back, the front would be quite a bit darker, or maybe adding a ring light around the borders of the character could make the light feel more intense.
Maybe add as well a layer of overlay/multiply gradient using the colours of the background, it’s an easy way of making the character fit in with its surroundings since light reflects from the walls and floors, hitting the character and thus changing its overall palette.
You are doing great so far tho and I hope this doesn’t discourage you!

Have fun and try out every single button you see within the app, perhaps one of them could be that one shortcut you’d like or that one perfect brush that looks the coolest

Comparing yourself to others is a natural thing, we can’t help it, I do it too!
and it can happen in both unproductive and productive ways, theres recognizing you can still grow and putting yourself down, and its not like “never feel bad abt ur art ever”, sometimes feeling bad towards our art pushes us to grow further

art is constantly shifting and growing, and a part of that is drawing faster, as you become more comfortable in your style you tend to learn how to draw faster, ive been drawing for years now and a large part of that has been growing into my style while pushing myself small steps at a time, art isn’t a race nor a competition

i know often comments “my art isn’t as good” is meant as a lighthearted comment, but that tends to bring ourselves down further, and it’s important that if you feel bad about your art, it comes and it goes, and its easy to judge yourself to harshly, were our harshest critics, but we can always grow too, keep at it, whether youve been drawing for 5 months or 10 years, were all on our own journey
