if you want to draw them you could get inspired from mangas

if you use ibispaint there's a special tool for it

you could also learn about the text bubble thingies yknow, when a character is shouting the bubble appears all zig-zaggy & spiky, but instead apply that to the panels

not all panels have to be squares, they can be circles, the characters can be drawn a bit out of the panel to give it more dimension, just try to not make it look weird
