I'm gonna point out what you're probably disliking and my thoughts on it.

-The fluff on the shoulders
It's a pure black, which doesn't suit the image and there's a lack of lighting here. You're gonna want to make it a really dark orange or red, or even blue, and use the same brush to do messy lighting on it, because black still reflects.

-The hat
It's nice! but some sprinkels of yelow lights on it would be very pleasing imo

-Face
face, good! i think you spent the most time there tbh, but that's what i see from a lot of artists. The eyebrows could use some shading, since at first glance it looks a little. odd. I know you have a shadow cast from the hair but the grumpy gramps eyebrows r pretty chonky if you know what i mean. You could also do some reflections from the lighting of the eyes.
