So thats just an idea !
Because you have a LOT going on i think a « taller » canvas would suit your idea better and give a feeling of depth (bc we are underwater its important)

Second thing is : making the skid smaller could be nice too, that way we can differenciate the different elements better and we breathe.

For the krills : ill put one on the foreground, as if the skid is looking at it, for them theres only this one to fear but we, as a spectator, see the big one lurking behind them 👁️
The one behind would be almost blending with the background, just the eyes really bright, giving a scary feel to it
