We’re coming to the end of the patrol when I hear a screech, quickly and quietly directing the others towards it. We land on the ravaged ground, and I peek around the corner to see a young child cornered by probably one of the largest wasteland beasts I’ve ever seen. The child screams, trying to back up and flee but they hit a wall.

what should happen

1. child do a die
2. Jay (main character) save them
3. Silence (another charatcer of mine who is going to be important very soon) swoops in out of nowhere and kills the beast

Scenario 2
The beast rears back its head, eyes fully focused on the terrified child in front of it. I can see an opening, I have to save this poor soul. So despite my body screaming at me to stop I charge from my hiding space and take the life threatening chance. A voice behind me is yelling something, but with the adrenalin pounding in my ears I know I can’t, then the beast glances towards the commotion. Not even thinking at this point, I recklessly dive underneath its now gaping maw and grab the child as I rush past then quickly gather my strength and fly upwards. It rears upwards and almost catched the child again, but I hurl my silver throwing star at it before it can catch us. The beast screeches in pain and falls back on the floor again, the wound I caused dripping liquid shadow. Now the rest of my troop is here, two of them picking up the child for me as my weapon flies back towards me and I catch it with ease. We quickly fly away to a afer part as the massive beast bellows behind us.

Scenario 3
I can barely bear to look as the best rears back one last time ready to strike… The child cowers in fear as terrible serrated claws come just centimetres from its mask, before the monster hesitates. Two figures in the distance walk towards it, but I am too paralysed with fear to even call out to be careful. Shame builds up inside me, now I’m going to be responsible for not one, but three deaths today… This beast is around 15 times larger than me though and I wouldn't be able to hold it off, even with help from the others. The dark beast turns its head, spiked tail flicking back and forth as if it’s deciding which one to make a meal out of first.. Then the two strangers strike, the taller one throwing several small sharp projectiles at it. It stops a foot, obviously annoyed at the pokey things, then the monster charges. Those two are done for… I’ve failed. But wait- They both deftly dodge out of the way, the shorter one taking out some sort of blade and slashing with it. The beast screeches, lashing with its tail as it runs by only to get punished by the sword wielder as they jump over the attack and counter with their own. Now angered, the monster turns around and leaps at the odd pair… who simply step out of the way again before pursuing it in my direction. I don’t think they noticed me, but… is the shorter one looking in my direction. Odd. They're closer now so I can see the taller one is in full armour with a black cape and grey fabric covering everywhere the armour doesn’t, and the shorter one is wearing blacks and reds with little bits of gold mixed in. The wasteland beast attempts to strike again, but this time gets interrupted by the taller one throwing several more projectiles. Without warning it swipes its tail again, knocking over the tall stranger and throwing them into a nearby cliff face. It then rears up and slams back down into the ground, screeshing in the remaining stranger's face. The sound is deafening even from where I am, yet the red and black caped stranger stares right ahead. The taller one yells something intelligible from where they were thrown, and the other stranger does something odd with their hands? Strange. They step back, looking up at the hulking beat and seem to gather some sort of energy. Then the fire came, small sparkes running down the length of their blade at first… Then turning into a massive inferno, flames hungrily eating at the wasteland beasts fark corrupted flesh. It screeches in pain, trying desperately to get away from the small stranger. They advance further, the gigantuan monster backing up in fear. Then strong gusts of wind start to blow, fueling the already raging fire and engulfing the creature completely. They raised their sword again, flying upwards and slashing the creature's head. Now all I can see is heat and flames, splashed of the wasteland beasts dark lifeblood occasionally splashing in the surrounding area. Then suddenly it all stops, the shrivelled and burnt body of the once terrifying monster laying on the ground in pieces in front of the red and black caped stranger. They face away from me, but then turn around slowly, and I can see their eyes.

I just start with the base of the body and find what position it’s going to be in, then I try to draw the limbs but what I struggle with is positioning

Remember that the upper arm is shorter than the lower arm so for posing its rather easy with the joints- so let's say you want to pose them going up but resting like so-

For the whole base of it you'll kind of need to stretch the muscles- I have a good reference for that
