I just struggle with drawing people from time to time, don't know if you've seen Mars art of wasteland but they draw my skykid very well and i just get sad cause i want my art to look like theirs :(

recently I just got into digital art and the difference between my digital and hand drawn art is shocking and just recnetly i've gotten better at shading,,,

I mean I did this a while ago back when I was with my ex, and I was so proud of getting it done in a matter of a single night

oh man if I had a pen and paper I'd show you mine. Digital and traditional art styles are typically suuuuper different in both style and skill levels. And shading is one of /the/ hardest things with art, even I mess up and put the wrong shading in places it shouldn't be =w=;

I just see some people render their art and i'm like w o w, i just know that i use bases a lot to help since i struggle with placements unless i have an idea in mind

I still have no real idea what rendering means, but i used bases a lot when I was younger. It's easier, and over time it helps your brain get used to arting to the point you end up /having/ to stop using them

no joke half the time my pieces take more than a few hours is because of the hands lineart let alone feet

i'd say a good way to help stop that from continuing is to post your art when you do make it and receive feedback from a community, it doesn't /have/ to be this one but I've see a bunch of artists supporting artists on here since I've joined =w= just gotta make yourself do the art thing, which is a whole feat in its own right

Okay. It is very good lineart wise, colors are soft and blend nicely. The blu glow is making them feel bit cold, but crooked glasses maje them bit silly. He is like in deep trought, and it shows some kind of nice personality!

Also, cosplays in drawings are weird to do since you are not making them look like they dress up, but just drawing them as it should be.
