This is the finished sketch before going to digital coloring. (They held it weirdly because they use the tip of it to quickly tip the crabs over without skykids or moths using their big call. ) Behind the reason for their scarred yet tainted mask and sludge covered clothes is when they walk through the black water. (Don't worry, they are dried up so they can attempt to fly again.) He scratched or burnt part of the mask was from a firework incident and the chipped parts is when they crashed into a wall hard. The green mask and green capes is from exposure of the green area within the wasteland.

This drawing is call growth: from an paire (sorry for spelling) friend to wasteland guild.
