draw where the head's going to be first, then a marshmallow/pillow shaped chest, then a bowl shape for the hips. from there, I'd say figure out where u want ur hands and feet to be, then play connect the dots from those bits to the body you've made =w=
Also height wise, adults figures have smaller heads than child figures, and are usually longer/taller and/or stockier/wider than a child's body.
For kids, you'll want a bigger head, and possibly hands and feet bigger. Children also are softer lines, like curves and circles rather than points and jagged angles
but that's jsut how I do bodies =w= and it all varies based off of how you want your character's body to look

I hope this helps a bit =w= if not google is very user friendly

She’s correct drawing the heads shape and form first will help you decide on how the body will be shaped and positioned

Once you make the head, drawing a V for the neck to a certain direction to give a point of perspective

The tip of the V is base point between the two collar bones

i cant really explain bc my anatomy has already excelled to level 8

but its best to study with reference and shapes for beginners. you can try using simple shapes like circles, ovals, rectangles, squares, and triangles. just remember to take it easy first, you dont want to stress out about other's full body drawings. Everyone begins somewhere

i was stuck on headshots and busts only for around three years, it takes time to perfect how you create things =w= and even then you can always erase a mistake in digital, as long as it's on a seperate layer hehe

I think I may just put something in front of them to cut off the lower body. Part of what’s killing me is that I’m trying to draw them sitting down. The head is fine-ish, but the legs are way too big even using a perspective point lol

another one: unadopted moths may form close bonds with spirits, and sleep or spend all their time eith them. these moths will unlock the spirits constellation, and be some of the skykids most in tune with spirits. they are called Spirit/Ghost moths, or Spirit/Ghost Kids.
on the other hand, these skids will be lonely and less social with other skids, and more likely to adopt moths as they grow into vethood, not wanting other spirit moths or moths in general to be as lonely as they are.

try out the free programs first to try to save your wallet, but don't be afraid to get one of the programs that you have to pay for if it suites you better =w=
use the layer function for every piece of the art you make, so you don't have to start from scratch
png is probably universally what you'd want to save your work as, but it combines all layers

it's not cheating to use the mirror tool or to use the blur tool
Save save save literally more than you would with a document ToT ❤️
I'd suggest looking up references, watching artists who stream or post videos, and always ask questions =w= someone's bound to help!
