Here’s a small fact about them: the one thing they have in common is that they’re generally disliked by other skids.

J ( hair) is a notorious troublemaker and somewhat of a delinquent. He annoys other skids to the point where he got yeeted into the Golden Wasteland.
X ( hair) just has the short end of the stick — due to his circumstances, he’s been accused of certain incidents that happened in the Wasteland. He’s unaware of his reputation, but he’ll find out soon enough.
Z (pigtails/ hair) has done a lot..but nobody else knows other than her. Instead, the main reason she’s disliked is her (at first) cold and blunt nature. She eventually opens up to J and X about her past deeds and, oh boy, does it turn their world upside down.

Anyways, theyre so silly and i love them its a shame the plot has to happen

ok i dont know how much sense this makes, but maybe it'll help
what you could try is to wrap that part in a bit of long skinny blue cloth, leaving only a bit at the end, and then cut some of the hair at the top a little shorter so it looks like the hair in game

Warm and cool colors are friends, Warm would get a bit more saturated when they meet, like it's blushing!

you have to install an app to be able to make it into an animation forgot what it’s called, you can also render the animation which exports each frame as a file and then use and editing software to edit them all together, but that’s tedious
