The cape is just there for fashion. The wings loose feathers every time the player uses them. They recharge with candles and the wax from the candles magically molds into new feathers to replace the ones they lost. When the play collects winged light and levels up, the wings grow in size and develop more feathers.

Had another what if sky idea regarding the kick ball on ice thing, but if it was a legit sport and not just “ram into ball and get it into goal”.
Anyways the idea kinda evolved from ice skating and lacrosse, but evolved a bit.
It’s current idea is that the sky kids use this ice pick/hook to allow them to make tighter turns and to slingshot themselves across the ice, while for the ball (due to how light it is) they instead only use their wings. In a tie the team with the stronger gust power will be able to get the ball on the other side of the court while if it’s evenly tied it’ll be flung into the air turning into “don’t let the balloon touch the floor” but in which you do want it to touch but not on your side since it’ll give the other team a better chance at scoring.
Damn I’m getting to excited about this, making fake sports is kinda fun

The foam also gives the cape a bouncy movement, as well as helping keep its form when folded!
The problem I had with just pure cloth capes was that when you spread your arms, they just flopped on the arms and didn’t flare out (looking at the hug emote)
The foam insert takes away the floppiness but adds a bit more personality and character to the cape itself

I’m going to be making Teriyaki Chicken today for dinner, and I had a sudden thought of what would happen if a skid ate some. The food isn’t spicy at all… but then again, I live in a place with a lot of spicy food lol, and I know people can have super low spice tolerances.
Here’s the question: how would a skid react to spicy food? Since all I’ve seen them eat is wax, marshmallows, and Grandma’s butter balls (and cake on Sky’s birthday lol)
