Taverns and stuff and Lily often performed there for money

what i like to do is draw lines that demonstrate the form of the hair. the way it’ll flow and take shape. practice drawing basic shapes and said lines from different angles to really get a feel for it.

me personally, i never really bother with this since i can do it on the spot, and i’m not really the best source of advice for this sort of thing considering i’m still learning stuff myself, so i suggest looking stuff up on youtube or asking other artists.

If you want to keep the same size, here are some tips:
Desaturate the color and place some trees in the foreground with a saturated color.
Create some overlapping foreground with the tree,This either part of the character or maybe some branches framing the upper third of the peice.
Create trees in the background that are smaller in width and even more desaturated.

When colouring, make sure you alrd have a background colour (or at least a plan for what the bg colour should be) and colour the tree close(?) to that colour, or make the tree more desaturated and the subject more saturated
