• just always draw zoomed out, you can't focus on details that way
• try timed studies (or in my case because I don't like that kind of stress, my goal is to be very minimalistic)
• less is more -> only make the most important feature detailed, everything else can be simplified

I don't have any proper painting brushes I like on clip studio, so using this one I downloaded for splatoon art...it works

Its a lot of blending but the fact it makes spots where the color is slightly lighter helps to naturally gradient
