I suggest selecting a tone, such as playful, or full of tension, or anything that you want your scene to appear to the reader and try to stick to the tone. Avoid using certain words that might not fit the tone, and uh
Music helps, a lot. Also if you have a scene for a reference, I recommend you have multiple writing references for the tone/vibe you're going for fanfics help cough cough

Its partly not talent. Its just a lot of practice. The mire practice the more your muscles learn the subject. Took 4 years or so for me to be good with digital wolf drawing and 6 years for paper wolf drawings. Its all in lee muscle memory:]
