for people i usually start with a circle that is the character’s skin color, for scenery n backgrounds i just start with the main color of whats around everything(usually the sky or the walls of a room or what perspective or smth and then i layer it all on top, sketching is just planning w less detailz ofc so)

at the times some animation program use a built in camera which helps do those shaky cams u see on some animation fight scenes. often times if you just want like the character to slide to the side you just do wat animators call tweening. basically moves a drawing smoothly to a different position
