In the vault of knowledge, there is a table with multiple chairs. I'm gonna assume that this was a place of discussion for the elders because it shows that they already have thrones there, this could be a meeting place. But one of the chairs is knocked over. This could mean one of two things, 1: the chair was pushed over over time and no use 2: someone doesn't use that chair anymore or isn't there to pick it up

This sounds a lot like the theories from when I first started playing about a year ago.

The theory i was always fond of was that the darkness was an encroaching phenomenon. The eye of eden, the giant tornado thing, was a power crystal that split causing the collapse. Before hand, the industrialization of the ancients created the krill which led to the militarization of GW. There were also theories based off a giant horn stuck inside of an ark at GW leading people to believe in a mega krill.

Yes, what's wrong with them

for one thing, with all of the default game call spirits besides bird call, we seem to learn the call from the animals themselves. Whale call is learned from the whale bones in forest. manta call is learned from a spirit that flies around like a manta and (from what I remember) the spirit isn't the one that makes the call that we learn the mantas summoned from reliving that memory make the call. Spirit manta call is learned from a spirit manta, summoning the spirit manta. The spirit we see in the constellation doesn't show up when learning that call. All of the base game call spirits, and raised candle spirit, have the same body model, with spirit manta call spirit having a cape and bird call having hair. All of them, along with raised candle have music you can learn. Raised candle spirit summons another spirit that, while it has a different body model than the call spirits, is unlike any other bonus spirit we see from a spirit memory (for example the other spirits in tearful light miner's memory, and the kid in confidant sightseer). And the most common bonus spirits, like the ones in tearful light miner's memory, have the same body model as the call spirits.

Yes, because designing extra characters takes time and it's unnecessary to animate and put them in memories. I don't think them looking like that is lore related.
However the call thing, yes spirits give us calls sometimes animal ones or sometimes normal spirits. Also in bird call and jellyfish call's memories we can see them learning the call from animals
The whale and manta calls are learned from whale and manta spirits, i think. But they have spirit representatives in constellation just because all spirits are humans. You can think of them as people that learned the respective call.

some people think the prince is king; others say theyre two different people

according to some the king may have not liked megabird very much

I have a theory about krill. Krill are corrupted elders. In the “heavens” there was a war between the elders and the ones that won punished the other by turning them into krill, the krill stole the light from the others and threw it across the war, without the light the people deded and became spirits except for a few (you) and now the krill are forced to roam the land and try to get the light back and keep us from getting it

Some of the early concept art shows them being referred to by Hebrew names/letters I think, but those are not considered canon anymore. The only official names for the elders right now are just Isle Elder, Prairie Elder, etc.

A theory i saw on tumblr said that the ancients were separated by wealth and race with the upper class living closer to the clouds and the lower class living below the stadium. Do you guys think the ancients even had race?
