I just realized.

When diamonds are "off" or in their passive state, they're blue and when they've been given light or "on", they're yellow. You know what else does that? Ancestors and probably all light creatures. The reason why power diamonds needed living creatures is for that exact effect because somehow doing that send signals and energy that is powerful enough to move things.

The reason why red candles are so sacred and special is because they give off wax orbs which is pretty much the essence of all living light creatures.

The ascended spirits are probably as bright as ascended skykids if they were as "alive" or opaque like skykids are.

Since the hat that the Season Alpha is wearing is basically a modern day's cooking pot, that means that they already made electicity, and since they are Scouts, that means Robert Baden-Powell never made the Scouts, he popularized the meaning of Scouts, right?

the season guide isn’t wearing a modern cooking pot. i do médiéval reenactment and lemme tell you that cooking pots have looked similar for centuries throughout europe, and even when you look outside of europe you find lots of similar concepts. the existence of a long bowl with two handles to hold when it’s hot is not a purely modern concept
additionally, as far as we’re aware the world of sky is separate from our world. it’s a fantasy setting. lots of times words that have a general meaning are used in fantasy settings to communicate to the player « hey, [x] in fantasy setting is like [y] irl » so even if there might not have been a Robert Baden-Powell in sky, we still understand the concept of « oh, scouts, they’re kids who work in and with nature »

According to the skykids being made of darkstone theory, the candles and hearts do come from darkstone itself, the candle lights we collect slowly charges the darkstone inside of us, and when we collect enough candle light our darkstone gets overcharged and it gives candle alert and we convert the light we got from candles into candles and hearts in order to not overcharge the darkstone inside of us.

Actually I already brought it up in roleplay, so I have an Elder’s definition of Days of Nature (of course, it’s just headcanon)—
For context, explained some kind of foreigner krillkid whatever thing what days of Nature is

was doin the trials in the cave of prophecies n thinkin “man this little light guy is awful tough making it through all these challenges alone wonder what they were doin it for” n i got to thinkin ab it and, you know season of prophecy n all that like? were the trials symbolic of the prophecy? what was the prophecy? were the murals on the wall created before or after the eden fallout? but my best working theory atm is that either:

1. prophecy was in reference to eden; each trial represents a different aspect of things found in broken eden (water trial = toxic water, earth trial = rock storm, air trial = severe winds, fire trial = krill, darkness and death), so maybe the trials were created to prepare the child of light to go up there? (but for what??? we don’t see any children of light past the end of the cave with the moaning, so what was he going up there to do??? was it before or after eden fell apart???)

2. prophecy was in reference to the other kingdoms of sky, with the trials representing different obstacles that would come to fruitition in each realm. (water trial = polluted waters, earth trial = climbing around like a monkey, exploration air trial = flight? but i’m not sure if the child had a cape like us. fire trial = krill, crabs).

still leaves the question of what are the significance to the colored lights in the murals and stuff, plus all the spirits seen in the prophets’ memories. maybe it was almost like a little religion, with folks coming to hear about this prophecy in regards to the kingdom? but why did it seem like the prophets were training the spirits? maybe they were doing a whole “sword in the stone” thing, trying to see if they could find someone who could fulfil this theoretical prophecy??? but WHAT WAS THE PROPHECY

My lore theory that once the people living there and had the civilization what we see nowadays the remains on opened a portal in mid eden that used to be the main city to a world where the darkness came from in a world what never should been opened where also the krills come from and the crabs became darkness crabs cause of the caused pulution by the portal to the darkness which we see that portals have been a bigger part of the civilizations in the background story what we see in the first world and the lost ark and the forgotten ark being two last attempts to escape the war that took place in the wastelands

ok, so this is just a random thought i had while playing: "what is reality the game".
I went to investigate. we know that sky kids can interact with projections, from the home-friend constellation, where we call down a likeness of our friend and then light their candle. Something similar goes for our hair and accessories, The shadows only show the body of the sky child, and when we get "extinguished" we can't see our accessories and our cape goes white. also, something about the vault is fishy because after the cut-scene, you find yourself in the starting room. This got me thinking, what if the vault is just a giant projection.

that's a bit of another theory i have, as wing lights may be souls of sky kids stuck in eden, that unconciously returned to places that were important to them, or where they thought they had a high chance of being shepherded to their body

if we can interact with projections they become effectively places

but, projections might be created by something or someone and my question is who.

also, projections in general are a bit like shadows. you put a see through picture in front of a light source and it gets projected onto a surface. holograms are such projections that pretend to be 3D by projection images onto 3 or more transparent surfaces, which means you can look at it from all sides.

so my first question is: what are we projection onto the vault? (I think it's maybe a former image of the vault, before the eden cathastrophe. as another possibility, the vault never was real and always a projection)

my second question is: who or what is projecting the vault? (my first idea is the elder of the vault, or the elder of the vault with the help of the elder of the forest because the forest elder sends the diamond)

The Body of a sky child is made of Stone or clay and functions as a vessel. it is literally raised from the earth and fairly arbitrary it can manifest everywhere, which explains the ability to teleport. The soul, is made of winged light. W||hen we lose our last, winged light in Eden, we turn into a stone statue. and a blue dot leaves our body. it then follow our friends around and i speculate it returns to the world of sky, as a wing light||. the candle, or light, is comparable to a humans heart. It keeps the child alive, so to say. it functions as a sort of glue to keep our soul and the other ones we pick up along the way stuck to our body.

What if our sky kid is kind off like an incarnation of the king? In one concept art we saw that the king's giant body was only ruled by a smaller person (the prince?)
Since after season of dreams,it is possible that the child in one of spirit's memories is not the skater. I think that it was probably the king/prince himself
(Also I don't think that the ancestors were born from the stars,and our sky kids were born the same way)
And why is our sky kid a reincarnated version of the king? Since it was stated that we can't help the king anymore,since he's presumably dead? Part of his soul might have reincarnated ? I think that king was also able to wield the light,just like our sky kids are,that made him stronger than others.That's why he could finish all the trials in the cave of prophecies.
Maybe the king went through the same journey just like our sky children,to help others. But he once had an idea. Instead of trying to go on multiple journeys,offering the light.
