Answer: It's because of the Darkness plants, the darkness plants spreads their cells or something through the water, but why is the rain making our lights to decrease? I think it's because of the lack of light there knowing the trees were covering the sun.

Here is my idea! Vault was the same Kingdom with eden. Why? First of all They are connected instantly. I mean when you get to eden behind you there is Vault (you know the big structure behind us). Also we can see thie big statue (I will send images later ) in pnr which look like Vault Scholars. We also see on our way from Eden Castles to Orbit the Vault edens Island. It is the same. So I think that Eden and Vault where together a Great Kingdom. SO elder's island was in the top of the whole thing - in eden. After the Fall Vault's Elder closed the darkness of Eden and the corrupted King behind the doors of eden, and then she made a second elder island since the first was not accessible...
