That is a good question. But also afaik there aren’t any dark humanoids like how there are light humanoids, only dark creatures (though of course the both sides statement still applies if there are only dark creatures and plants)
oh btw, idk if their linked but light skid looks like your skid when they go up in the end trial cutscene (not the complete trial)
What if we are literally playing the life story of prince?
give lore
a similar thought. in trials, were actually going through stages in life of prince/king
i havent thought on how it'll work with each trials but ye i think thats possible considering prophecy puts the prince/king in the spotlight
Who's prince?
a small version of king
^
Who's king
the tall and strong version of prince
What the-
and u should bow before him
In the concept art, they were gonna have a king elder for Eden, but it got scrapped, but pieces of him still exist in the game, like statues and some markings
and orbit boi
And the constellation for the best-friends thing was supposedly going to be Eden's constellation but I don't remember where I heard that
But that's prob why it's crown shaped
it is a crown
theres literally pieces laid out waiting to be connected but i havent seen any theories or docs about the crown that are solid, not saying that as an insult but king's lore is pre interesting and is definitely connected to us aswell
both
In the concept art, there's a lot about the king. That he selected 6 Ancestors (when he was prince) to create their civilizations in their own area of the sky kingdoms, that he became corrupted and was supposed to be the entirety of the storm that is in Eden, etc.
i can go on about things i notice about stuff that might relate to the king that involves some old popular theories as reference, that i cant name cus i forgot most of them and only remember the details
Even things like that his name was Aleth/Resh and other things too
I know it's just concept art though and doesn't mean it's canon
welp thats the easier side, but the 'stories' are pre confusing to try and make theories about so i mainly focus on the characters
But it's really cool to see the development of what they did originally have for stories and such
Yeah, I guess it can be difficult to interpret the drawings on the walls, spirits' memories, etc.
From those, I feel the most prominent notion is using boats for travel, gathering supplies (light, stuff in the ground like charcoal or something), there used to be a huge advancement in technology
And you can infer that they were trying to build back up to their original home, but of course there's something that created the storm and corrupted things, making everyone stuck and dead, and now we're here to guide them home
In the intro too, in the English version, it mentions "If only they listened..."
Which makes me believe they got greedy or did something foolish that caused the storm/corruption
Which a lot theorized that's what that crystal in Eden is
is like them using too much power and it exploded
Is Megan Megabirb?
yes
Idk why but Megan puts me off as a name 😩
why are the drawings only activated by doing a certain action btw? Were they for the skids?
murals?
It just makes me think it's like... one of those glow in the dark things
You need light to show them
murals only appearing when candles are lit?
Because they wanted to be cool, idk
honestly that sounds legit
or something has been triggered
maybe it’s comfidential??
i dont think so, it is likely that its for the skids
take the ark murals for example
they are very much likely to have been painted over to tell a message
and ancestors knew about our existence long before the disaster struck, courtesy of prophecy
I feel it's like maybe um... one part like... they didn't really have that much source of materials. So, they used light to make markings, so it needs light to be seen. And they want to tell the stories of what happened for things since it doesn't seem like they have much use for verbal or written communication, so they wanna mark it somewhere.
But I also see them being signs to help the moths understand the world because-- oh, that's interesting, the "they are very much likely to have been painted over to tell a message
and ancestors knew about our existence long before the disaster struck, courtesy of prophecy", so that could be a thing too
what other species could possibly stumble upon the weird planet of Sky 🤔
I- what are those-
they basically turtles with dragon heads i think they were
the bones u see in graveyard are from them
oh god-
they're called whurtles for whales - turtles, hence whurtles
and judging from their bones, theyre gigantic
I'm tempted to draw what a lot of the creatures looked like because even in concept art, not a lot of them are covered aside from the whales, mantas, butterflies, birds, and what not.
Because we do have masks for certain creatures, which could mean those types of light creatures used to exist but they didn't make it through the corruption
so im looking forward to seeing new areas introducing new faunas that might've survived other than whales
I also just want an excuse to draw cute deer 😩
Whales, butterflies, birbs, and mantas seemed to have thrived
However, I will mention, that I have a theory that none of them are actually there at all
That this is all a big memory timescape
And those just happen to be the last ones to go
whales are one thing, cus they're deemed neutral, organic
Oh right. Yeah, because the other stuff was light manifestations
And that's why whales have bones
Because they're also like... charcoal or soemthing
Some kind of earth
but going by the theory i had about different varieties of creatures, light whales should exist
like how theres 2 current types of mantas, cosmic and light, i think theres an organic one aswell and the other mentioned ones are just imitations of the neutral ones
tho i think the light variations are limited to creatures that can take flight
and soar through the clouds
thus, as sad as it may be, i dont think there are light crabs
RIP light crabs
I have a headcanon for moths who join the krill that can hug the crabs for flight levels
lul
There are technically light crabs. In the smaller land forms in Sanctuary Islands you can find a crab that isn’t covered in darkness and doesn’t attack you
I want to show crabs some love they deserve
if they light, they will give u light
I thought they were still angry lil' one, but I zoom too much around there to find out
What would a light krill look like...
a light krill
OH maybe there are organic krills
neutral ones
and the ones we see are corrupted
thats why we see krills in prophecy flying around on the murals
I never paid attention to the prophecy murals, there were krills in them?
they are depicted as ancient creatures aswell
yes
i remember seeing krills from a mural somewhere in forest im not sure
I think they'd be just white versions, less spiky, maybe a lil' smaller. If I remember the murals right, 'cause I know they're up on there too. I think the last time I saw one was in the trial's murals
I see. I’ll have to check out the murals sometime then
But I only say small because I guess they're simplified versions
canon?
Yeah, when I first played in 2019 I was obsessed with looking at the walls, recently I've just been zooming around though
I never paid any attention to the murals in Sky because I don’t have the patience to analyze them
But I've been going back to look at stuff again
Shrimp (affectionate)
off topic but the geography of ark is weird
krills are pre confusing aswell
apparently the way they hurt us is they hit us with a wind barrier smth smth when they charge at us
but they removed dmg from hitting surfaces too fast
so idk
Strange
What if there were bioluminescent krill
Cuz theres bioluminescent shrimp irl
Like this
The uh... try to absorb instead of nom
glow boi
i think that would've been cooler than the lame flying shrimps we have
Maybe light krill would look ljke that. Bioluminescent shramps
while in the topic, the cosmic creatures in vault actually have bones
But then they drank the bone removal juice
while vault is a dream like thingy, they're basically ghosts
the cosmic call have manta bones, the huge manta amalgamation at last floor does too
I wouldn't be surprised if the whole world is a dream. Like some projections of memories. But then it makes me think of like, it's just megabirb being like, "This is your test to see if you are worthy of home, tiny moth". There's a lot of holes to it, but everything does have such a... "this isn't really here" vibe
true, but i think its just cus sky is weird in general
Even the elders. Like, they're there, but NOT here-here
I think the meetings with the elders are a sort of dream state, like with the vault
it is
I think everything else is real tho
That's what it all feels like. Like, maybe we're in a spirit-world type thing, since we do have to take them all home. They're all just lost, and certain things cause certain memories we happen to embody the POV for
we medidate in temples
then the elder cinematic pops in
but the only elders that actually have a shrine/temple is isle and prairie
I thought they all had their little shrines, just in the major building of the area rather than a temple like Daleth and Ayin
Ah, sorry, IOD and DP elders
Idk if I should use their concept names because not everyone does, but I think they're pretty to use skdjnfs
they fanon
I could've sworn it came from the concept art
Which, ofc not canon still
But like, the names are pretty
they were canon but the canon-not canon thing happened
so now everything is fanon
tho that doesnt mean u shouldn't use em
But I thought fanon = fan-made
Thatgamecompany are now just fans confirmed /s
i guess
Just joking skdjnfs
anyway where were we
oh ye temples
elders are close enough to make contact with them by meditating, but only isle and prairie elders have actual temples
the rest have are factories
which is connected to progression i think
cus in prophecy murals, forest is depicted as the one that had the first techs
There's also mines and such, indicated the land was used for materials
and even if u dont read through the murals
the very first factory u'll encounter is the forest elder's
actuallllllllllly
if, lets say, the place that the cinematic takes place on is their temple, then the forest elder is the only one that has a factory as their temple
the valley twin's temple would be the stadium/coliseum
gw's temple would be the vault gates
and vault elder's temple is the peak
Yeah, it does feel like each place is kind of a temple due to the shrines in place.
Like, those major areas became their temples
yes
Due to their role in their perspective civilizations
Because each area feels like it had their own purpose, contributing to the probable goal of going back to home/space
i dont think their role is relevant, cus their role as elders is generally to rule over
i think its their characters
that depicts each cities or civ for that matter, that they rule over
its their influence
I just meant they kind of had sub-roles in a way. Like Forest Elder has like, this black-smith vibe, the other one containing light in jars, isle elder guiding the light (maybe people in general since I think he was a ferry-like elder), and so on
They all kind of have like... something they did that helped contribute to what maybe the spirits in their area did
and while the cinematics implies that the elders longed to go back home, i think its not that but rather we make them remember the light and the light calls to them still
oooh i see
wat im implying is that, since they were cast away for so long, they forgot the light and was occupied by the civilization theyve established since
until the destruction struck and now, they felt lost
no light, no civilization to rule over
thats why i said, the light still calls
and i dont think they were ever cast away because they were naughty and megan had enough of their mischievous shenanigans, now i think the "fallen stars" smth smth was not before they were sent down
but after they destroyed wat they made
they didnt fall from the heavens, but fell from grace from failing wat they built
like us, being sent down to save the 'fallen stars', the elders were sent to guide the ancestors
....anyone know why we can't see eden from home??
because the planet isnt flat? idk
According to the maps, we're just too far from everything
Like, you're going more up and up kind of through each area
and Eden high up there
or were on the other side of the world somewhere in the middle of nothing
perfect for placing portals that can take u realms in an instant
im just trying to make the boat that visits as a part of the lore lmao
like, voyagers exists
I feel we are on a small island, that has a vast ocean before you actually see where Isl of Dawn is, and I think home used to be a special place for higher-ranked beings that can only be accessed from the Vault area but then they we were like, "portal shrines everywhere"
theres literally docks in prairie and a voyager spirit in isle
and something like a boat garage in entrance of forest
But uh yeah, I think Isle of Dawn was a big transportation area
or, if u think about it in a geographic perspective, isle and gw is the only realms at ground level
Because there's some stuff we can imply that the Isle of Dawn elder had a ferry-guide role sort of
Yeah, that big spoop cloud brings you back down
Could be a larger extension of Isle of dawn, or a big detached island, while the other areas were in the clouds
Sanctuary also goes to ground level too though which is cool
which makes prairie not that high from the ground actually
Yeah. From some maps I've seen and how it feels in the worlds, each place elevates up more and more, but then goes back down near the storm area, then at the base of the storm is the vault
a rough guess, but i think it goes from valley as the highest city, valley goes down to gw and a vault portal is guarded in gw
but vault is actually on top of eden as its peak
That's what I meant with the storm area. That it goes up until that point, you're pushed down into GW.
But that's interesting for vault to be top of Eden. Why do you think that?
u fly past the vault summit in orbit
Mm
so basically vault is the "library" that was always there like how eden was always there as a place to give our light back. I believe that eden used to be a safer place where you just put your winged lights and leave and you never needed to die....until darkness came :')
elevating up and up probably means that the technology is getting better and things like that (I believe that each realm is in a different time period)
and gw is low to indicate all the wars and stuff (i believe that it's the war between the valley twins)
so everyone who still remained after the battle tried to get to vault, but a small library can't fit everyone, so some people had to stay behind
but it was too late and darkness still got into eden, which is connected to vault, so the spirits had to focus on protecting vault instead of fixing eden and that's why eden is how it is now
That's cool to think of it like that :^O
the thing is tho, the very last floor after meditating in vault, is of a physical one
its not part of the ethereal vault
so this is wat i think the structure of vault is:
entrance is guarded in gw temple
the hallway leads to the ground floor which is still part of the gw temple and the elevator only goes up to the library at first floor
up until then, the dream state activates, but you're actually transported/teleported to eden's social space on the very last 'floor' after meditating
so basically u go back down
basically vault sits between a thin boundary between ethereal and physical existence, thats why both can exist simultaneously
hence the dream state elevator thingy smth smth
vault weird, i dont like vault
yep
but its these things thats very fun to try and make sense of
maybe we are teleported to the mini model of vault in eden entrance
because megabird still needs sacrifices
i mean probably
but they can't risk letting darkness get into vault by opening up a door straight from vault

its unlikely that its the darkness their trying to protect it form
but rather its a very fragile place
thats why very few spirits are there
they're called scholars
vault is mostly made of light, and what's the opposite of light?
i think its in the deleted doc with dev quotes from a livestream, something along the lines of "vault is so fragile it can break" smth smth
so basically, not everyone can just easily come in and meander about in vault
its also used as some sort of storage
for memory cells
those glowing thingies on the walls
in archive and library
I've also heard that only very certain people were only allowed, and that's why there's exclusively a Home portal in vault instead of a portal shrine like elsewhere. And considering Home seems to be kind of an excluded area that allows you to go anywhere at ease, I feel that also creates a limited access of who can go travel easily through each area rather than sky-boat transportation
deleted doc ? what ?
Consider what Vault is positioned between : some sort of bionuclear wasteland and a fatal windstorm earthquake volcanic eruption of early Earth-like proportions.
Then watch 2001: A Space Odyssey
Rock with feet
Question: What are sky children? Like, what are we made of? When we start the game, we fall from the sky like a star, so are we stars??
And our capes and hair don't have any shadow, so I assume those are made purely out of light
But what about us?
So in a nutshell
Crabs fell from the heavens
People panicked but then thought they looked delicious and began taking them to gw to be roasted on sticks :pPopcorn: :SkyLOL:
I’ll bet their strength stems from fire, at least. Recharge comes from light and other players, and extinguished is a thing. I could go on, but I bet you get it.
Crabs would have taken the place, have multiplied to the point that the inhabitants panic and move, taking water from the lake in the process
.
Please go on
i read somewhere official about sky where each realm is supposed to represent a part of life?
how isle is supposed to be the start of a life. how everything is so big and grand and there’s so much room for exploration. i feel like before the “time” of our present sky kid- the one that is tasked to reach “the light” whilst reliving the memories of the fallen sky civilizations- the isle would be exactly as it seems. it sort of feels like the humble countryside compared to valley and vault and maybe even (past) golden wasteland
prairie seems like a continuation of isle slowly transitioning to urbanization. i feel like if the spirits of the sky kingdoms were still here way before our present sky kid ever fell down, there would be a handful of lights/sky children living in prairie?
i feel like forest would be the further urbanization of prairie. the lights now understand technology and i just feel like forest is a test of their capabilities. they’ve settled down and even built homes in an area where you wouldnt expect sky children / lights to be living at, it rains there but with their magic and technology, they’ve made buildings and creations etc to withstand this heavy rainfall- also pspspsp anvil elder pspspsp
When we become extinguished and die, we go back to the same grey character but parts of us like our hair disappears. That can only mean the grey characters are the base, but what is the base made out of? And why are the accessories made out of light?
Well, the accessories come from spirits, except moth clothes
Yeah, that's what I'm wondering aswell
I have a theory that sky kids are symbolically jesus
The more you think about it the more it makes sense and I’m freaking out
Yes but those accessories are still made from light. (Or so we assume) I still don’t understand the whole significance of spirits giving us gifts
They tell us how to make light exactly like their cosmetics
We have wandered into the territory that I suck at theorizing on
Back to lurking
This is part of many theories, but maybe the skykids were sent by the elders to restore the world after it was destroyed.
The skykids then need to seek help from the elders along the way in order to put back what once was lost
So i went to eden today and it sparked this theory in my head :
So basically the statues that we give wl to in eden...i headcannon that they are sky kids like us but their existence was with a different purpose : unlike us they were soldiers that existed before us current sky kids and and their purpose was to bring down the king of eden(who is possibly the reason why all lights fell from the skies and heavens) however due to the king's immense power powered by endless darkness the soldiers fell and were forever cursed and turend to the statues we see in eden today(i also headcanonn that the king absorb their light which explains why he is so powerful).
Us sky kids of today our job is to bring the fallen soldiers back to the heavens. We are created with ability to be reborn so the king can ever curse us. .
After our mission is done we ascend to the heavens, greeted by the soldiers and are rewareded for freeing them from the terrible curse.
The cycle goes on. Nobody knows how many soldiers are out there waiting to be freed but when the day comes when all of them are freed us sky kids will ascend to the heavens as well and stay there and the mission will passed on to stronger soldiers that are created both the light of the sky kids that were before us and ourselves and will take care of bringing down the evil king of eden. And the world of sky will be finally purified of darkness.
Idk man just a theory 😂😅
I mean maybe that’s why the dark plants exist, maybe they represent the brokenness and destruction
Man ya’ll think deeply
Woah
Maybe they’ll make a second game with that premise
You smart!
I still wonder what our bodies is made of
Cape and hair are out of light, but the rest??
This is a great theory! Personally I believe the statues are past sky kids who failed to go into orbit once they reached eden
It's a very good question, I admit that I don't really know either
..
Glad you like it hihi ^^ i hope so as well i love that theory
Maybe we're a little dark cause there's always a balance
Sky feels very spiritual to me, that’s why I like it. It feels like a fictional story as well as something connected to the story of real life and life after death
Perhaps our bodies are a sort of vessel for the light. Maybe we’re made out of stone also, since there are the statues you return the wl to, and how you shatter into stone pieces when you die in eden
Though that also kind of makes flying a little weird bc then you’d be super heavy lol
I never paid attention to the fact that we break like a stone when we die in Eden
Oh, oh yeah
Skykids are definitely some kind of non-human creature but at the same time I think they are supposed to look human like because of the theme of life and death. Like the game is meant to apply to real life and have a deeper meaning
Something else I’ve just noticed as well is that when you shatter, the little soul you leave behind is blue, which is mostly associated w darkness in the game.... though I think I’m overspeculating
Just like the mention of each realm representing a different stage of life
Which kind of goes hand-in-hand with us possibly being made out of a little darkness
Maybe we look like humans because, in the end, this is a video game on planet earth and the TGC decided humans because why do you think.
I dunno am I ruining something?
Let me be creative
Heh, sorry
The reason we see our friends is because the diamond exploded which made us all die including our friends and land
during rebirth
Speaking of darkness... I don’t believe the dark creatures, like the krill, are inherently evil or anything of the sort. Really at all times they’re kind of just doing their own thing, unless a player comes along and disturbs them.... I think they’re just looking to be left alone
Ohh, neat idea. I noticed on my last eden run that in orbit i saw the names of my friends in the links of ascended sky kids who were holding hands
Even though there’s no possible way we all could’ve been in orbit at the same time
To me they were just starved out of their mind which caused them to become desperate, hence the bones in wasteland
Well, twilight will always be my krill friend
Whomst is twilight?
The first krill a moth should see excluding forgotten ark
Would you mind saying hi to her next time you see her?
..i never thought about it that way

Of course! Always happy to see a krill
She has a name?
Yeah!
I enjoy flying near krills and just vibing with them
they don’t seem scary to me, more like peaceful souls who just got lost
Same same! Playing with them is so fun!
I think the krill are cute but at the same time having to sneak past them. Scawy
I lost my fear of krills a long time ago
Maybe krill were originally a creature who were then infected by darkness. Or maybe they were always darkness, but there’s a way to remove that darkness... i bring this up because on the archipelago in Sanctuary Islands you can find crabs who aren’t dark and don’t attack you
they're called dark dragons, so maybe they were light dragons- im assuming they were just shrimps in the sea that got corrupted though
As long as you’re good at flying and know the home trick, it’s super fun and almost relaxing to hang out with the krills in wasteland
How are we gonna chill with the krill if the glitch gets patched? 😬 I mean, I can’t think of an in-game or lore reason we SHOULD be able to avoid getting smacked
the only canon thing in beta is the diamond exploding
though home trick is not part of the game only a glitch that almost every player uses because of how famous it is which quite make it part of the game since how much its used and maybe why it wasnt removed until now
Yeah,, TGC takes into account of the glitches even OOBs that are loved by players that don't do harm or disadvantage others and as much as possible, avoids patching them as long as it doesn't hinder the development of the game
The r Rainbow Bridge is an example of that
I hope they don't close off Valley Twins Oob any time soon. It's a good thinking spot
I had a thought:
If we consider the Two Shields War theory canon, then why would Tsadi, the general of the king, have a shield that presumably belongs to the side that sided with the Megabird/light creatures?
cause he betrayed King?
It seems weird to me that they would have both a shrine and the sun shield, assuming the shrines were still built while the king reigned
Maybe, but then I feel like the king wouldn't let Tsadi continue to hold position of general -> no shrine
Maybe it was too late for the king to cast out Tsadi bc he was so corrupted
I like to think the war was cut a little short and the factions where forced to merge due to darkness getting to be more of a problem. Its really hard to fight a war when giant shrimp keep eating both sides!
Well, imo the shrine was built in the early King reign
And the tst theory was like
Somewhere ykniw
*yknow
Almost at the end of King’s reign
Yeah, I guess the king wasn’t able to demote Tsadi by the time the TSW was occurring
Right, I was going to sleep but then you pinged me xD
So now I’m going sneep snorp

Do you think sky kids cannonly marry when they are sky ADULTS?
Or you know.. They're just called children
Like how Christians are called the Children of God .....
Or are they—
BUT U GET THE IDEA
they may not grow but that doesnt necessarily mean they cant marry for topic's sake
mh
Marry—
sky children*
Oh
I wheezed so hard djenndnnshdy
and little did the ancestors know that they're talking to little 10000 year old ticking time bombs of chaos waiting to blast u with inaudible honks
but little do the sky kids know....that ancestors are actually just memories of that spirit
they prolly know
i mean they wouldn't save em and think of them like light fungis if they didnt know wat they were
oh, now that I remembered that. what if before they died, the memories we relived are like what they were thinking before they died
lmao, the dude from uhhhh I forgot which season was thinking about how to cook crabs
its possible but that doesnt really have a definite answer right now
true
its also possible that it could be from before they died or a memory they hold represent theirselves as
like, we doesnt know if the faint spirit died there on the spot or he was found and that fainting was the last memory he had before fainting and had stuck on him since
ye
perhaps some of the uh memories were the last moments while some are like what they're last thinking
if i was a warrior, fainting would be the most embarrassing thing for me, that sort of thing
or the memories that affected them the most
yes
prollyyy
u can actually relate them to portergeists
or spirits that linger even after death
because of something that happened in their life that doesnt let them move on
take the crying spirit for example
every ancestor can prolly cry but shes specifically the one that'll give u thr crying emote
some expression that u have to relive have either a story to emphasize that emotion or tell why or how that expression is expressed
smth like that
dunno
hmmmmmmmmmmm
oh, i think megan is a galactic overlord
O?
this is why I love MFC
mfc?
lmao
it's mitten lickin' good
seems about right
lol
legit, think that'll sell
yes
wait what
imagine tgc bamboozles us with sprinkler but they actually put in the whole squad of season of gratitude
lol
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
time to troll

Isn’t it ironic how the elder of the realm that’s supposedly represents birth looks the oldest
lol
and the realm that represent adult
is a teen
or maybe early 20s
actually, early 20s makes sense
yay
uh
so
lore
maybe thats the thing aswell
he looks the oldest because elders grows bakwards
which would make the twins the oldest
lmao
or maybe
it's like
oh ye, I remember a theory
about the elders are like: how we see adults or smthng
like: when we baby
we see adults as reaally old
and uh when we adults: we see other adults as teens
or smthng
wat
Someone from TGC said in some interview the children see adults REALLY old! And that's why they did it, I will try to look for the source later
no idea, just a theory I remembered last month
yep, this one
this is what I meant lol
true
Can't remember if that was in an interview or in some commentary from concept works, but yeah! It's even more than a theory I would say! That explains the twins too, as that would be the time when we see others as "equals" (or something along those lines)
amma go in a tangent, but i think thats exactly why the king is the only one that is masked
so u can never tell whether they can be an equal or an adult
an authorative figure among the elders
which is why we hail the king
eyo propaganda commence
Wait aren't all they masked though?
But what you say can make sense if we think of the king as "big thing with tiny prince inside", so we don't really know if he's old or young, big or small
yes, hence why
its possible that its a mech suit
but hey, the prince is the only one thats been coronated
maybe being coronated is something akin to evolving
Though I kinda always saw all the elders with masks masks covering their faces
thats maybe how the prince came to be the very big, tall and strong king
its a stone mask
but atleast they have a recognizable face
because, a star will never be a normal face
like this oh so glorious, majestic image of the king
now u tell me thats a face of a face
Yes, that's true, it's sure the king's mask is different from everyone's else!
I think Moreover looking at some concept works you can see something very close to his mask used to represent corruption
Tall blond and gorgeous
indeed indeed
Their long hair flowing freely in the wind
I know right
its all finn
im in awe
I have an urge to make more King Propaganda ads
I wonder what are they gonna do once they use isle maybe and vault as places for next season. Will they make a season located on eden?
they prolly not gonna make a season in eden :(
unless...
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
nah they wouldnt
Man i need an eden update
what if the reason it’s Sparkler just before Assembly is to stop them from robbing the treehouse
Maybe they will keep on exploring the previous realms, I don't think we will embark on jolly cooperation in eden, lore-wise that wouldn't make much sense
But I'm all for an eden update (though I think eden is already perfect hahahahahaha)
Sparkler’s a thief
ye, but sadly we can't save him FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
id like to be able to traverse through the kingdom in a proper way
no going home, just pure adventure
is seen raiding the storage rooms
like theres other ways to go to other realms
It's gotta be either of them
cus the kingdom isnt all flying and seperated
You've read the commentary of the first draf idea for the game, right? Us giving all our souls to save the prince and such?
:0
ye
its hard to believe it now tbh
with all the more compelling theories thats popped up here
even if the devs said it themselves, i think itll just confuse wat has been built here
Yeah, it was from a game mechanic point of view and I think the present situation in eden is much emotional and strong. But it was interesting to see the prince was someone we could redeem somehow
i doubt theres even a canon side of story that tgc is hiding
like it makes more sense to me now that tgc thought of this, letting the community make the lore
I totally agree about that, and I think they made a very concious decision for us players to discover the world's story (and history)
but still strictly reminds us that we can freely interpret the same thing for ourselves
It's the beauty of sky's lore!
so we wouldnt think that there is no canon lore
I wanna know who broke into the library secret room in vault
no one
Nah someone did
it was decaying and a hole popped up when they did stumble upon vault's archive
Wise Stance
The floors are broken and thers ladders and they are flooded with water and crabs
the kingdom didnt succumb to extinction in one strike
An attack
oh ye, the crabs are actually powerful enough to destroy walls (well, tiny bits of it. it'll take very long to destroy the wall ya know?)
it went on for god knows how long until the spirits eventually died off of it
it says in the canon lore doc
and plus, the secret library thing is like
super old
so uh
lol
Where can i read all the Canon lore?
actually, its the gw elder thats guarding the vault entrance
maybe thats wat theyrw hiding
ye
not because theyre hiding the secret ingredients or smth
Thanks mate
no problem
for all we know, theyre hiding the real secret guide to being a succesful trader in candle stocks
in the archives
we wouldnt really know
lmao
lmao
but ye, i dont think someone deliberately broke in and smashed a hole in archives
cus they didnt even know that the archives wouldve existed
only scholars would
I guess the holes are a lvl design thing; you don't have to mod stairs, just put a hole and let your audience break their minds over what caused the hole
and id like to think that as vault being as weird and confusing as it is, being a structure built between a thin boundary between the physical dimension and space and time
archives seems to be sitting on the space and time plane, hidden there as a physical structure
oops wrong info
sorry
crabs did not
uh break in
but
according to canon doc
Archives is like
old so a new entrance appeared
so uh
crabs
« The new area (Archive) was a highly restricted area. No one should enter. »
« As the restricted area decayed over time, an entrance appeared. There are knowledge/projection lanterns, sealed inside the large cubes. »
this
also seeing that crabs can be stabbed and skewered with a stick
i really doubt they can bonk and smash their way through concrete
lol
thats why they sand dwelling creatures
idk wat they're doing in the valley temble labyrinths tho
and theres that one tunnel that drops straight down
spirits are pre gruesome
just to protect some hidden library
Hi guys!
Do you know what are the most accredited versions concerning the arrival of darkness in Sky? How could things get corrupted?
I know there might not be a single answer to this question, but I’d really like to know your opinion
hello! does anyone know the past working name of the forest elder? :3
Teth
Well I think that the spirits aren’t trying to protect the library. Maybe they are protecting Eden. Remember, the Vault was the original entrance to Eden. Eden also used to be a fortress so while the spirits were alive they were protecting that, now they are just leading the Sky-Kids to their destiny that has to end in Eden
i meant the hidden library in valley temple maze
YES, The next TS
IT ACTUALLY WORKS, sprinkler spirit is in valley aswell
it goes full circle, this actually opens up new possibilities
ive been calling it sprinkler spirit ever since i got sprinkler season 1
Anyone knows the face?
the mask is one thing
now i have to try and make connections, thanks @solemn barn
truly
u see, bloom guide, dream guide and rhythm guide all have the same mask
ive made a theory regarding the mask itself, it being a mask native to valley, but not how one gets to get one because ive never thought of it ever, not until i saw that image
but the idea of a spirit returning in a more grown but similar state is already known, courtesy of boat ferry and valley kid(the kid next to proud stance)
but thats a different tangent so, the mask only have 3 spirits that has it, the three mentioned above, and all are from valley
now i havent seen wat rhythm guide do so i cant really make a clear assumption on how the mask may have been given
and the tall hide n seek pioneer from forest that has the chibi mask has been changed into a kid
idk where i can put that on but ye theres that
@solemn barn is it fine if i save that image for future reference?
K
btw sprinkler spirit kinda lame
We haven't had many guy cosmetics in a while
spirits are apparently genderless according to devs but ye
no spirits that looks like guys in a while
the last one was dont go spirit i think
that i didnt get cus i took a break
I'm a male player and I like guy cosmetics. I wasn't thinking about the spirits but since you mention it I think that's your interpretation that they are genderless
no, devs said it themselves
^
and i think they're also in the docs in the pins
if u wanna read it for urself
its my bad for not mentioning it first place
so i apologize for that
SPRITS ARE GENDERLESS
but its no fun that way
thats why it cant be helped to place genders, plus it makes theories more immersing
in a way
stereotypical gendering or smth
idek if that word exist but i hope u get the point
I wasn't thinking about spirits but purely cosmetic items we collect
It's plenty fun w out genders
I understand everything you've written
ah, i see
but in that case, theres not much ngl
Do u guys know why there's some noises when we go near the bloom tree? I'm just curious
true
But I'm feeling that implicit in your words is a warning against even categorizing the bloom hair for eg. as feminine
trapped spirits that bloom guide ominously guards
So the souls trapped in the tree? Oh wow
no no, not at all, although i guess i was trying to warn u about a similar instance
cus i was actually blasted for saying skater girl once
Yes I am realizing now that it is not the case
i dont generally care about genders, but others do and they get sensitive about it so ye
no thats just a joke
we dont actually know
but u can make a theory of ur own
thats fun
i think
It would be cool if at the end of bloom the guide morphs into a dark creature and we need to rescue the souls
one thing i can say tho is, given that there are bloom trees all over the kingdom, im guessing that they're all the dead spirits connecting to one tree
but even that is just speculation
Those fingers I don't trust them
she can stretch her fingers at will it seems
The guide's pose looks like the King in the Vault visions
they're normal when bloom guide stands
but when shes holding an imaginary cup, it gets elongated
Saladfingers
looks like casual sitting stance, russian in tracksuits
Yes I agree it must be leftover from when they made the guide holding the tea set cup
yes
uh, are u testing out emotes?
ok
This is not the place to test out emojis by the way
Anyways
Other than a door mechanism, I realized the scouts also had hold on mushrooms.... Quite a lot of them
Also
Smol jar
sameee
cozy sky discussion gave me an idea for some lore to discuss about
what if there was a thing where the upper regions of the sky area above the clouds were the safest ones, but as you slowly descend deeper to ground level (below the clouds) it gets more industrial-like and gloomy (disregard vault since it's its own thing)... which is why wasteland looks like that, and the area below the clouds were mainly used for industrial purposes when the kingdom didn't fall apart
@lime sorrel has what it takes to pass these trials
What does that say about Forest though
Also here's something to consider: The first part of Eden looks like a drearier version of Wasteland. Then after you die, there's a brief part with falling ruins where your SKid races down a ridge that looks like the Valley races...and giant jellyfish like in Forest! (Not sure what that says about lore though...)
ooh! that also reminded me of a completely separate lore idea i've been thinking about
but it kinda clashes with a lot of canon sky stuff
(i'll still say it though)
what if all of the worlds were set in different time periods? it kinda goes with the 'life cycle' theme
i figured it would support the idea of some parts of eden resembling previous worlds of sky
but yeah it clashes with a lot of canon stuff
The Vault of Knowledge elder cutscene makes me think that the story of Sky is a lot like the story of civilization and settlement - from discovering new land to learning to use its resources and settling there, wartimes... and Vault feels like a Library of Alexandria type of place
:0
i really wanna find out what the diamonds had to do with sky kingdom's flourishment and then downfall
now that you mentioned the vault elder cutscene
That's my interest too!
i wonder if anyone's made a theory on how those blue diamonds turned red or why theres an infinite rock rain
Definitely! I think about this when I leave forest too
I suspected that the diamond already existed before Sky, and at the time, it was a good thing. But it didn't work when the elders tried to forge it in Sky (Forest cutscene where the elder had to snatch our light to make it work). That could've been a warning they didn't heed ("If only they had listened..."). Then the Vault cutscene - the diamond that Vault elder has might be the same diamond Forest elder forged. And when we light it up in the cutscene, it shows the stored memories of Sky
oooo yes
maybe the diamond was never intended to be used by the people of light
but they used it anyway and with the overusage of it, the light ran out and it turned into darkness maybe
That's an interesting take!
My clarification would be that we see the diamond in Prairie too, but that wouldn't make sense if the diamond was first forged in Forest...(since there are many indications that the realms are chronologically connected)
maybe the diamond was forged in (an early version of) wasteland (where it wasnt, well, a wasteland)
and looking at the name 'golden', the wasteland probably had more to it than what it currently is in sky
it was probably the peak of the light ppl society
maybe they supplied the contraptions and stuff to other parts of sky
and thats why wasteland was the first one to look so trashed
and that area could be the one that ran out of diamond energy first
I rather thought that was Valley...
well valley honestly looked more like the recreational and village areas since they have the racing stuff and all
OH WAIT nvm i read that wrong
yes valley is the peak (literally) since it has to do stuff with mountains
but i meant wasteland probably had a lot of contributions to their society
But from Wasteland, it would be very easy to destroy Vault to the same extent...and yet Vault looks really pristine and dreamlike
i feel like waay past the industrial stuff, near the end of wasteland, thats where they had soldiers to protect the vault since it stored so much knowledge
and thats why vault still looks very pristine
maybe there were people trying to steal knowledge/diamond hence the warzone area in wasteland
Yeah that makes sense. I thought that Valley was when society was flourishing in the sense that people were happy, blissfully unaware of what the future held, just content to live their lives...And then Wasteland tells of the horrors of a society that fell to war
that actually makes sense, i like that take on the story!
maybe thats why valley was set on a mountain range/valley, its supposed to show the 'peak' of their lives
And then the krill infestation would make sense!
But then it could just be that the fight was against darkness, and Krills were part of the fight. The people of light lost the fight and now krills just have free reign of the space
I wonder if the creatures of light and dark are related...like in biology we say that all primates are related, could we say that for creatures in Sky too?
i like to think that the light creatures all shriveled up after the whole diamond incident and those that died in the same area got rained on by the evil rock candy red diamonds and were given life by those shards, and thus krills would be a whole bunch of dead light creatures packed together only controlled by a diamond looking for a light source (sky kids and like that manta that got krilled in wasteland) kinda like a parasite controlling a zombie spider
maybe the darkness creatures used to be light creatures too but corrupted?
That's what I suspect too
hmm but what would that mean for the giant shadow thingies in fire trial
i think i have an idea how
and

are connected
They're both dark creatures so
since the prophecies cave was moreso a 'flashback' (idk if its true) maybe the krills were originally shadows? and maybe shadows were the darkness creatures that naturally spawned in dark-only areas with no true form, but as they consume light creatures they slowly gain the form they have
and they get the form of the krills
...evolution?
pokemon
it could support the idea of why there aren't any shadows in the current sky kingdom
Well I think the trials are all just hallucinations made to test your skills
only krills
well theres a portal for it
i like to think it's a magic portal that was able to preserve a time period (like a time bubble)
For me, the seasonal quests and things are kind of like "Meanwhile, in other parts of Sky..." stories
ooo yeas that makes sense too
So I don't really think much about them
i like to go in-depth with lore just because it's fun 😹
There is a lot more in the kingdom than what we see
You know how large each realm is
So of course there's more than what we have ingame
Either way, I'm gonna disappear now, have fun guys!
it was nice discussing with you! i think i'll head to bed now too haha
The
could either be a close relative of/the juvenlie form of
?
I mean, they are both made of darkness
All realms have different colors because they are in a different time of day or they all have different atmosphere irl 👁️ 👄 👁️
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
If the world is a lie, then I have to ask
Who's lie
If the darkness has given us what is essentially utopia...
Consider - the darkness shelters us and cares for us. But we try to wake up. As we do so, the darkness offers us warnings. Warnings of what it means to get hit. Get hurt.
And it lets us retreat whenever.
It asks us to show it that we are capable. That we are ready. That we are sure.
And when we fail, it lets us try again.
But at the PNR, we disconnect. The darkness can't hear us anymore. So we set out on our own.
The task is impossible. Try as we might, we are doomed. So as we fall, the darkness consumes us once again.
It feels our desperation and offers us what amounts to a memory. A memory of the world we will never again get to see. And it lets us come home, to a place where it is safe.
I always thought darkness was a physical thing that polluted the homes and souls that polluted the environment and people's enjoyment
It can be physical and not physical
the further you go in the attitude of the spirits and realms becomes less pure and light-like
Valley is in a grey area because it barely disrupts nature, and its citizens are very competitive in nature
Now that I think of it, what if it the fact that the spirits tried to build their way up back to their old civilization (orbit) by ruining their current home, and then were punished by being attacked by darkness, and as a last stich effort to save their people Megabird created Sky kids to bring thie souls back "home"
Maybe there was also conflict between the realms because some areas were wondering why other people were wasting time and energy on tying to make a city reach out of the atmosphere and into space- only knowing about and living comfortably in the kingdom of Sky
dunno if anyone answered this already, but my idea is, they arent diamonds, but pure dark stones that absorb huge amounts of light that they glow red. basically concentrated dark stones
its a popular theory that the battlefield was an aftermath of a civil war
but that is only true within gw, because most realms are barely touched with destruction from war
I see
the rest decayed from time
I heard somewhere that Forest and Wasteland are enimies
Yeah, it doesn't make sense
because forest itself have a factory similar to wasteland's
and actually, i doubt that there were any dispute among the different cities because 1: theyre governed by elders and 2: the only city that had a hint of military is gw
I can't stop thinking about how much different Valley was from the other realms in regards to it's relationship with the others
although, it is possible that all the other cities rebelled against gw
true
thats why the civil war is a popular theory
and if u look deeper into it, gw is also in a geological disadvantage if they were to go to war
because most of the other realms are on the clouds
while gw sits in ground level and is very vulnerable to air raids via the floating boats
Yeah, its also interesting how Valley is so pristine compared to other locations in the game, and it is right before the heart of the corruption
yes, it is quite odd how valley seems more 'clean' than other realms
the only place where theres dark plants are in the labyrinths in the temple
If you think of it, even prairie has dark plants
exactly wat i was trying to get at
Also another thing that intrigued me is that it seems the different clothes in sky symbolize different classes and careers
It also is interesting how the performers in Valley have the same class clothing as the Wasteland warriors
im still trying to make lore for the mask of bloom guide
cus that mask is the only design that u wouldnt see anywhere else
other than valley
and theres only 3 spirits that had it, all of which are questgivers and from valley
Another thing about Valley, they are the only realm without their own mask
yes, but it looks like the only two masks you can get are inspired by creatures of light
wym inspired?
actually, i think the reason why that is, is because valley are basically the new york equivalent of sky
where all the rich and middle class flocks
and lives
and they can all come from different realms
hence why the lack of nativity
except for the previously mentioned bloom guide mask
then this pops up. credit to thatunskymoth
huh
indeed
mom hairstyle in sky b like
if you’re a mom you’re legally required to wear it
the official karen
that could actually be the grown up sprinkler spirit
showing again as the dream qg
this is what I mean
Same can be said for Wasteland, yet, the Valley masks look nothing like the elders
The ones with the straight narrow points look like whale faces where the horned one looks like a krill
But that is true that they could be custom
now, those other 2 mask that have large diamonds on it are from different realms
the one with the triangular shape is from the lumberjack in forest
while the square one is from scholars in vault
but the design is similar despite the 2 realms being completely different from each other
yes, I think the forest one is based off of a power diamond, while the Vault one is of a floating knowledge lantern
so ye, i'll chuck it up to specializations of spirits
kinda like how engineers have hard hats and businessmen have ties
yup
not the elders specifically but the 2 realms are actually closely related to each other
Got it
They both use power diamonds iirc
I didn't know that... enlighten me
the distinguishable features between the lightseekers and the vault scholars are the helmet or hat they use
even in the murals, they are different
the lightseekers would have pan hats while the vault scholars would have the same long square headwear
yeah
and their purpose are different aswell now that i think about it
lightseekers are more like field scholars while the vault scholars are librarians i think
Yeah, or they grew up in forest and were the only ones bright enough to invent an umbrella/ protective headwear
Yeah vault is pretty much one big library shaped like a tower
But it is interesting how thy were called lightseekers
the season was called lightseekers
and they were featured
as the spirits
so they were called lightseekers
They seek the light
Light seeker as a metaphor makes sense
well their field closely works for megan
like, their job is to study the light? i think?
idk at this point really
Maybe it is a play on words, as if they were enlightenment seekers, but called themselves the lightseekers
as if the light they were searching for was knowlege
well ye thats them in a nutshell
and tbh, we should call ourselves loreseekers at this point cus i bet lightseekers didnt find their truth before they went extinct
Yeah
We literally just search for the lore in sky and come up with so many theories and ideas
thats kinda sad if you think of it
it is, but hey atleast we get to make our own stories
Yep
tho its hard to correctly make one without people to tell u if something doesnt seem right or a piece isnt quite fitting in
especially when u like pulling reference from ur previous theories like i do
u can only try to make it as logical as u can while weaving through some already constructed theories that is basically a part of the lore now
Indeed
i mean thats fun, like i recently made a theory about megan being a galactic overlord cus i was bored
for all i know, i could be right or horribly wrong
Can I ask what the upcoming ts is here?
its sprinkler spirit
sparkler spirit
i dont unfortunately
Same I wanted Sunbather or Hiking Grouch
woiuld'nt mind Jelly whisperer to stop by either
As you can tell I am a desperate Sanctuary moth with unfinished buisness
I want the rest of the grouch emotes, and Hawaiian cape, I already have the cargo pants
Jelly hair was my first seasonal cosmetic, and I loved the call from the start
plus Jelly spirit is adorable
the hair actually glows
I know its cool
I remember those days
I find it funny how I am the only one neutral about the cargo pants, probably because I wished they came with the sweater the spirit had, instead of the regular moff top
lol
tho i genuinely think cargo pants is better than rhythm pants
rhythm pants overrated
yes
cargo pants seems simple enough and the colors contrasts well
yes, plus they're cargo pants, think of all the rocks shells and candles you can collect
indeed indeed
I would love to see a variation in sunglasses in the future
u have the storage of a cargo ship with that much pocket space
the glasses are manta themed
Ye I found that out when I got them
I am suprised no one has exploited the yeti hair + sunglasses like I have
they were
I remember putting both on at the same time, and I could not stop laughing for 5 minutes straight
yeah
yeti hat and manta glass was a blessing
A good one I had going during Prophecy was bat mask and bowing medalist hair
i didnt do prophecy
mask were ugly
lol
and i was bored at the game and took a break
lmao that looks hideous i love it
looked like a skull to me
I need to figure out more weird combinations
lol
This combo has the hat's eyes being poked through by the mask's horns. And its not symmetrical
Also, the eye's of the shadows look eerily simmilar to this thing that appears in some emotes
SPARKLER GONNA VISIT. So I have Sparkler mom lore questions. Did she adopt her niece? Since Confetti is Cousin and not Sister.
lool
I have no idea
Wait, since it is sparkler parent would it technically mean they are non-binary?
Every spirit is non binary iirc
Not gonna stop callin her a mum constantly though
true
The cousin part is prolly just so it starts with the same letter as confetti
But also that either the don’t go pop or Sparkler mum has a sib somewhere or maybe dead if they adopted their daughter
I don’t think headphones kid is at the end of her memory. Maybe hes just more timid. Cause I didn’t see his memory
Every spirit is genderless, but we can call them whatever gender we see them as
the eyes are the exact same as the isle elder's magic effects
wow i havent come here for a while
Oh cool
Ok, now lets talk about what vault's final cutscene implies
The spirits seem to be made of small constellations and the elders made from bigger ones. Not the realms constellation tho
So are the spirits beings that megabird made from entire constellations while the skids are made from singular stars?
And the usage of the darkstone seens to be expanding their own constellations mabey gaining more power similar to how we collect wls
