what if dark stones doesnt just take light, but stores it and amplifies itself with it. The red dark stones scattered around eden seems to be exactly like that, so is the big one that 'exploded'.

i think megan planned it all, ordered the elders to make the diamond and make the inhabitants of sky go extinct to, sort of colonize it for themselves; skids.

going back to the dark stones, they doesnt seem to overload and just explode out of nowhere

the small ones doesn't but they're already as concentrated as they seem, which leads me to believe that the big one shouldn't have 'exploded' that easily aswell considering its size

now back to my theory. considering the concept that were a new species of elders, and were apparently hybrids, made from light and dark, seems odd considering that we came from the 'light'

this implies that megan itself, works with dark stones, which also means that the elders did know wat they were doing.

now the reason i mentioned the diamonds and dark stones in the first place is, they were a weapon, but can be disguised as technological material, which it was and were super efficient aswell

I personally thought that the elemental lights were given to the elders with a similar characteristic (patience, resilience, balance and courage) which they lost during the fall

I guess if they were to be chosen, they wouldn't necessarily need to do anything. The line from the concept art was: "Prince chooses 6 Ancestors to oversee their realm and grow their civilization."

So, this could imply existing Ancestors or choosing someone to be Ancestors

But in this scenario, the Prince before they were King, was higher in the hierarchy just below birb but before the Ancestors if they got to pick, which I think is interesting because to me, if I had to categorize a hierarchy, it'd be like:

• God(dess)/Diety
• Ancestral Spirits/Ancestors or Demi-god-like figures (mainly for the possible more power but not as much power, or wisdom aspect)
• Demi-gods/goddesses/deities
• King/Queen/Emperor/Empress/Lord/Monarch/etc.
• Prince/Princess/etc.

and so on

But yeah, just out of cuteness, I'd like to imagine smol elders going through the trials, some teasing others, some helping others out, etc.

The two reasons i think this theory is true are:
Vault is the only realm where is no place to change your outfit.
And after meditating and meeting elders, we end up in absolutely different place than we started (unlike in other realms)

I think the reason why there’s no closet in Vault is because the whole Vault is Vault Elder’s temple (or something similar) and there aren’t closets in the Elder Temples

I keep asking myself this question, and it’s really bugging me. Do skids have conscience? Like, I get they can make expressions and such, but aren’t they just mimicking? I like to think that the sky children are sentient, but they aren’t able to communicate outside of honks and body language; I think it’s the same with the elders and spirits. But, the skids being sort of like the vessels from Hollow Knight is a fun idea :)

As for where they came from, yeah, it is commonly accepted/theorized that the sky kids were sent down by the megabird. As to why though, we don’t really know. I interpret it as the sky kids being sent down to return light to the kingdom

Is there a chance that they will expand on the darkness side of things? As what we learn from symbolic mythos throughout human history, there are sides to every story and it seems unfair that we only get to see through the lenses of the light side.

True, true. I think light and dark once had an economy though. So maybe they were okay with each other at a point, an maybe the dark side thought the light side had too much land or whatever, and took over. Or the king was dumb and led the light side into oblivion.
