I have another proof on sky kids being made of darkstone. We know darkstones change their color to red when they get overpowered by light, We, as a sky kid, gather candle light everyday and this candle light is capable of making the darkstone in us get overpowered, so what we do is, we somehow convert the light that we get from candles and turn them into candles, by this way we don’t get overpowered.

Maybe this is the reason why we see that many candles in the game, everyone in sky kingdom had created many candles just for to not overpower the darkstone inside them

#

But this creates the question, why do we collect candle light if it is capable of hurting us, answer is we need light to convert them into candles and use candles to save old spirits and somehow help them.

Also when we use teleport to home or craft candles, we create a beam of light just like the huge light on top of eden which is coming from the giant dark stone, we just create the small version of that light

#

We can say that darkstone gives us teleport ability that we use when we go home, use portals in home and warp to friends

When stars fell from the sky, and made home in the clouds. The Source was atacked by the darknes, that came from the crystall from the other world.
The spirits and Elders of the other lands wanted to save the Source, by conecting the light to it.
But the darknes was to powerfull, to be beaten by the light itself.
Thats when the source started to call us, the fallen stars that now lure the Kingdom, and search for the calling, to destroy, what destroyed the light.

For me the kid we hug is inside of that giant dark stone, after we hug the kid we activate the dark crystal and crystal starts to release that huge beam of light which gives us enough power to take us to the orbit. Somehow a hug activates this.

/You see, there this thing called the 2 shield theory- that, there is a diamond shaped shield and a sun shaped shield, with 2 types of weapon, a blade and a spear, seen scattered around gw. for me seems like there's a civil war on how light is used. the rocks/diamonds vs the regular, unartificial light. There isnt a blade missing there, there is a spear at its place

This is very late but, I think when we meditate, our spirits leave our bodies and we go to the Elders that are locked in some non-physical place as spirits too. (We never meet the Elders with our bodies, we only meet them as spirits, in the cutscenes and in orbit if we summon them.) So as for the last (?) dreams quest, we leave our bodies to meet the skater kid and dance with them. We never danced with them in our bodies; just as spirits ourselves.

We might be taken to a place in their memory and not necessarily what ‘their time’ really looked like; they can remember it differently than it actually was (so in some Elder cutscenes, the background is foggy/not there); also it’s still our reality though as well as theirs.

Vault theory
From the 3rd floor(forest) of vault everything we see was stored knowledge of that level.

Maybe vault was made for visiting the elders, but “darkness” destroyed it so the “light” couldn’t keep growing. So it made the realms separate and elders had to go to their realms to keep them protected from the darkness, and for something we haveto give the elders light and they become more powerful? After that, they couldn’t rebuild vault so maybe megabird made another way to stay more connected to the elders (when we complete the constellation and they appear) and let the light grow more and more, and made orbit? So we could rebirth both sky kids and light animals.

this are my thoughts:

when the eden storm began it consumed all of the sky kingdom, ruining it and killing it, i think atleast an 89% of all the spirit kind died during this long storm, the ones which survived fled the ruins of the kingdom with a small, almost insignificant amount of spirits remaining in the once alive land

centuries passed and the population became smaller and smaller, on the verge of total extinction, the remaining communities lived their lives and came into contact with the first skykids to ever arrive to the sky realms

as more skykids arrived, less spirits remained as they all died of age or sickness

isle marks the beggining of the skykid era and the end of the spirit era, 2 species interacting for the first and last time

this is why i think the small child in that cutscene of isle is a skykid, the spirits are just surprised to see a new species falling into their land
