Coming right at you guys with an opening of a new story I'm writing: Child of Darkness

In my world, fantasy is reality. Children of the Light run freely around the 6 realms, with the Light creatures as friends and companions, and Dark creatures roam around, protecting their homeland from Light. Light and Darkness are always at odds with each other, with dark creatures attacking the Light and with light children burning and damaging the Darkness. And I, am one of the Children of the Light...or so I thought.

For generations our ancestors have gone by and have ||ascended with the Light above||, What about those who chose to be earthly tethered and be one with the land. A realm where, the spirits linger, and their very own spirit embues life, reincarnation. They create a medium, trees, mantas, a realm with no elder, no diamond, but flourishing with life, yet it has light with it, but with light comes darkness. A realm where both dark and light creatures reside, find a grey area, the living and the spirits.

i sometimes have thoughts about why capes that are white/black in general appearance are usually very expensive/ult gifts, i like to think they represent status in the sky lore. well, not among sky kids because they usually just wear it for fun, but what if the adult spirits that wear actual white/black capes have a specific status or role in the society?

Hello i have question i need opinion on, kinda sparked from the upcoming season, do you think spirit memories are memories from right before they died or memories during their life but not necessarily right before they died, cus the first one wouldnt make sense for many spirits like dreams and sanct spirits

Totally irrelvant to bloom tree discussion but like ive seen an artist somewhere who said the rain that drains skykids' light in forest symbolizes the forest elder' tears tainted with the darkness of their own self and it had me think : What if the broken bridge symbolizes their broken self that us sky kids fix which is why the rain always stops after ? Idk just a theory 😅

well, there's 2 scenarios:

1. They're there cause since diamonds a re made out of squished light creatures in concept. Perhaps the Whurtles were slaughtered so that they could produce more diamonds

2. Krills/Eden

I just made a theory about 3 different types of mantas namely light, cosmic, and organic

That said, it does not trash out the idea of mantas not having bones, but a different kind of manta

Maybe the reasons mantas can manifest in clouds is that, once, organic mantas used to fly around in them aswell, reflecting off and shaping the will-be light mantas

So about that manta bones, since its vault and all, maybe organic creatures that manifests in vault becomes cosmic creatures

Like the huge bones floating around the 5th floor could be from that huge manta with lots of flaps

I think they do feel pain but those things such as sliding and stuff don't really deal much damage.. They hunch and even limp when they go to eden as if in pain. I also think that when they become 'burnt', they become numb based on my observation how they somehow start walking normally and unbothered in stormlock even while getting hit by rocks when they're in that form even after limping and hunching when they were still lit
