A few reasons we know its still true is because the mantas fly out when the machine is activated, and a dev strait up said the clock on the side of the stairs was for a cut manta rescuing mission.

I think skids internally are made of light, and whatever is external is all there is for weight, so they're pretty light.

Maybe? Since we see Forest elder making one, and Forest elders whole deal was making diamonds, I would say, yep. Thats one of them. But mostly they are the diamonds that light up when you activate doors.

What about krill? Someone said they’re natural, they weren’t created they just appeared

You can see krills in the murals which suggest that they were always there. Therefore, they're not manmade.

However,

Sky has a “natrual ecosystem of light and darkness” krills are natrual. But Krills finding and coming to the sky kingdom probably is not.

They could of also been altered by technology

The diamond technology was a metaphorical “forbidden fruit” (In Vault elders cutscene you can see Kings mural about to eat a circle) that was not to be over used. But the King decided he needed more cool door openers and since it takes light to make diamonds, I think less light led to more darkness being able to get to Sky kingdom.

Isle of dawn is an island on the ground level, so is a few others like sanctuary and maybe wasteland? Who knows maybe sky kingdom has its own floating sea, but more land under would be cool.

Dunno. I imagine a BUNCH died because of eden going boom. I think they are all coated in the black dust that stops them from moving on to orbit because of Eden explosion. Maybe some survived only to get stuck after dying due to the dust.

I personally believe that the "ruler of the sky kingdom" is the King, aka the eden elder (who is not around anymore :'0). But that they also worked alongside the elders to ryle the civilization

And about where skids and animals come from, (i think this is cannon idk) is from megabird, which creates all sources of life. But things such as krills and darkness creatures may not be the same.... 🤠 💧

Like ik darkness is a natural thing in the sky world, but how could it be enough to create life?

my train of thought on how krills are is that ( ok backstory rq- ) yknow how sky kids when they get darkness they go pale? maybe when sky animals go lose their light they either yknow SKRT or depending on their location maybe turn into a krill?

My own guess:

• there was always a kingdom in sky (along with the sky creatures) but the whole power stone/elders ascending came to be when the first child of light fell in isle of dawn (which the elders used to pass the trails for them as can be seen from the murals/ updated usher spirit memory)
• u can also see that krills have always been there in the last mural (so most likely naturally occuring), the first col became the prince/king

Reika once said that the reason why the weapons on the battlefield are big is that... Well, the wielder is also big. Giant, you could say it like that. It is speculated that there is a sub-species of Ancestors that is the Giants, which bigger in size and stronger. These Giants will mostly deploy in the military as soldiers

The hermit was speculated to be a giant soldier as well. The fact that they are a giant is already directly explained when we enter their cave (home of a giant with a gentle heart). Now the fact that they are explicitly explained with gentle heart... Is not something fit for a soldier right?

If the giants were used as a military defense in the past... Maybe it could explain why the hermit got the battle-axes in their home. They were also a soldier once but seems like they didn't last long as a soldier since they didn't like violence (hence the gentle heart thing). So they decided to leave the military and exile themselves as a hermit to the Valley. They keep the battle axes but only use them as a mere decoration for their new house as a reminder of the past they have left

krills live in graveyard, around lots of bones and stuff

what if the bones are remnants of dead whales (like in forest) and those whales were hunted for oil or something

and then the ghosts of the whales became krill, who are trying to find the people who killed them and punish them/protect their burial ground, and because skykids look so much like their ancestors, we get attacked all the time. and then that compounds with the giant cosmic manta at the top of vault, who died but was put to rest, so they're not evil (but their bones are the ones suspended in the top of vault.)

About the asks of each elders, they are supposed to represent what they are related with. Isle's elder's mask is in the shape of the boat and as drawings demonstrate, Isle is in charge of transportations specifically by boat. Prairie's elder's mask is in the shape of the vase as we find many jars in which could be trapped the butterflies. Forest's elder's mask shape is a diamond. As seen in the cutscene, this elder is in charge of construction, inventions, etc. and most importantly the diamonds which are placed in to open the gates and the mutli player doors. Valley elders have no masks... They say that at that time, it's the golden age of the Sky kingdom... Although they may have worn faceless mask though I don't know what they actually represent. I know for a fact that Valley Elders are placed as twins as they represent the two races and probably two different parties competing with each other. Wasteland's elder's mask may look like the krills because that period is the war period. I don't remember specifically what it was about but I think elders were fighting (as mentionned, probably the two parties fighting) or it was the elders vs the king (Eden dude who doesn't exist anymore). The whales who were exploited either died or mutated into krills. Though I saw somewhere that they sacrificed themselves for the war. Probably that elder fought krills. As of the last elder, Vault's elder's mask looks like a tower. Sky was inspired by Journey in which the player had to climb up a tower before it dies in the last level. In Sky, we find Vault looking pretty much like a tower and it was one way to call it in the pre-release beta. It is also called library as if it stores memory. Though it is actually a reminiscence of each of the previous five realms. As of Eden... There used to be a king who lived there and was executed. If he were there, his mask is probably in shape of diamond and may represent the diamond in the center of Eden last stage.

so i know nothing about sky lore~ but i find it interesting with the children of light you collect for winged light. at the eye of eden~ you sacrifice your winged light to other souls to help them pass to orbit... however, my little theory is that the eye of eden is a plane amongst the realms. and the children of light are current souls passing through eden and see you as a soul they need to give their winged light to. idk my little theory ((:

The images selected for the portals interest me because they telegraph what sort of level it is. Maps 1, 2 and 6 display the view from your vantage point after entering (sandbox). 3 displays the beginning of the main section of the map (mild challenge map). 4 displays the goal (map on rails). 5 and Eden display the "thick" of the map (major challenge map)

The canon images of the King are the statues in GW, the mural over the inner temple door in Isle, and the Eden constellation vision during the Vault cutscene.

The concept art images of the King look much like the GW statues. He is sometimes shown to be taller than an Elder, but not as tall as these statues. As the corrupted King, he is shown much taller, as tall as a tower, or even inhabiting Eden mountain like a body, with the castle as his mask and crown.

There are at least two pieces of published concept art which indicate that the Prince, who is the original, singular Child of Light, was inside the King's body, driving it.

and, i dont think the races or the orbit blue lights are the savepoint lights, or whatever they are called, as these blue lights move around and the orbit ones beep. The savepoint blue lights recharge your flaps but dont move or beep

I believe the cat you might be talking about is a Siamese cat. It's why they start off all white when they're born, the heat makes the color not form so when they grow, the extremities get color because those are the coldest spots of the cat.

Anyway, so idk if this has been said before or not, but my theory is that maybe the crabs are baby krill

A few reasons why I think it's a possibility:
-Crabs often run in circles, krill patrol in circles

• to me, crab calls when they charge sound like a high pitched version of the krill charge sound
• eyes change color like the krill
• and most interestingly, I looked up the stages of development of a krill and found this: the nauplius stage looks like how the crabs are designed.

Now as for in comparison to my earlier theory that the crabs were based off of horseshoe crabs, idk which I think is more likely, maybe the horseshoe crabs because of the concept drawings I found for Sky. But either way, something to think about.

So, I'm glad it was still in my docs since I don't see it in the pins anymore, but I looked back at the document called "the theory vault" which was created to keep track of popular theories and read to the section about krill, and in there listed as official Canon lore was the quote " all creatures are born naturally into the world"
