I thought this was in beta only but i saw it for the first time in live our cape has tears when we enter the pnr
okay, thank you
I wonder what this one used to be too, seems out of place as well
hmmm wonder if manta cape will got the same tears
likely its just a pillar
uhh valley pillars
I thought something since there are buildings below the clouds
no one would have 2 temples right next to each other
So either simply the clouds end after a point and building continues
the broken one definitely fell from the sky
Or they are flooded by clouds
i think next season will be either on forest or vault
gw already got a season anywya
I think we need a vault season
Ash came in gen chat and told us that they are working on next season. I wonder what it will be
forest had lightseekers or something idk
I really hope it’ll be vault
Broken gear things there's one on either side pff
Both having a lamp under them
They both are in rapid rock rain
lightseeker is not centered in forest. the spirits are scattered around the 6 realms
lamp? or maybe a diamond?
oh ok
A lamp like the one in middle
You can't see that lamp it's under the thing
so the megabird is the god?
and some stars fell down from the sky
so the megabird created children so they could send the stars back?
and then at the end we all go back to the megabird? is that it..?
It kinda is confirmed who sent us
Could this be the real vault as we also see a much bigger prototype of the elder statues at the top
I can show you a visual to guide you to that answer
yes please c:

Ooo
So these are the lines of fallen stars ⭐️ that lead to exhibit B)
Now exhibit C is tricky
Yes and no... the stars are US and the wings
Okay hold that thought I have an explanation for it
okie
When you first start the game after that cut scene this is what happens...
The same for when we are reborn except we don’t need to find the wing and we aren’t grey or “lightless” because before being reborn our ancestors gave us their ascended wings so we hit the ground as fully winged children already
But never the less a star still falls and a our child lands on the rock pad
And if you need MORE evidence this is the case (we are the falling stars) then hold onto your butts....
in the intro video thing, the fallen stars each have their own realm i think
ah
Which brings me to exhibit C
OHH
/yall what about the megabird also seen in orbit
our spirits/stars fall first, and then we fall after them?
Jen that’s exhibit D
to take them back?
wow, that's a lot! don't worry about it. c:
But as Jen perfectly stated. Megabird is depicted as a single point of light that is made up of many constellations
is the gate in orbit also the megabird?
In orbit our constellation (sky kids in the second to last picture) is seen next to the face of Megabird
The gate is mega birds..... um..... you know... where they push the baby out
so the megabird is not one thing but rather a gathering of many smaller things like a sponge?
That’s an interesting analogy but yes she is everything in the “heavens/stars”
That’s why the opening line in the intro of sky that says “with our light United”
It’s gives away who the narrator is who says “time has passed, now I turn to you”
And she lost stars as they (the elders and their constellations) fell to the sky kingdom from her
/oh my god my favourite question
she yeets us
Yeetus maximus
haha
/like hey kids--- go down there and burn stuff or whatever
so we're sent down there to give light back to the elders
so they can return to the megabird
/seems like it yea
Not just the elders but all of their realms people too
They’re all fallen stars
Or “lost light” as the game now calls it
/wait a sec why dont we see the elders fly during the flight scene to orbit?
Because of the image I showed you Jen
what made them fall in the first place?
krills take away the lights from the children.
could it be that a bunch of krills - or one big superkrill - attacked the megabird so the stars fell down? its a bit of a weird assumption
Let me explain
The constellations are the furthest point from the center and the cross or stars next to the child of light in the center represents orbit. Look at the images. So elders don’t return to the stars they teleport or were always sort of in orbit in some form or fashion.
In other words they had the shortest trip to orbit and we are following the slow spirits and sky kids to the longest travel to orbit.
Once the elders are freed of darkness they yeet back to orbit quicker than the others which is why when you go to purchase an elder hair they’re already there
They peace out ✌️ at the end of vault of knowledge cut scene. The other spirits fly with you after you die in Eden
I have a theory why this happened but I’ll let someone else give there’s if I’m talking too much
So the intro is a kind of “snapshot” of what happens in the kingdom of sky. And I’m not sure if you’re religious or know anything about religions, but take the Christian bible for example. Some texts are what’s called a parable or allegory. It’s meant to be symbolic and not literal. An example of this is an interpretation of the ancient Sumerian texts says that Marduk the youngest god cut great Tiamat the dragon 🐉 in half and scattered her top half as “jewels or gems” 💎 for the other gods she was bullying. And then made the earth with her lower half.
If you don’t take the text literally you could apply an astrological explanation to that same text. A large newer planet entered the solar system and crashed into it making the asteroid belt and a smaller planet from the remains that eventually evolved into the earth.
I believe it is the same with sky.
The “stars falling” isn’t a literal statement so much as a symbolic one.
They were supposed to seed life on the sky kingdom which is why they are guides to the regular ancestors, guiding them to build and to make things like power diamonds and sports games and flying boats.
But... they were also supposed to teach of the natural life cycle of death and rebirth. And somewhere along the way “darkness came” and they got “lost”
So instead of going to the holy land to return to mega birds beacon (that beam of yellow light you ride up out of Eden) they were more. Content with making things and staying in the sky kingdom
They didn’t get lost like a missing child. They “lost their way”
That’s my take on it. But that’s just a theory.... A GAME THEORY!!
@compact olive know this is annoying but what are power diamonds?
Not annoying at all. It’s a manta juicer.
I have concept art to explain it if you’ll hold a moment for me to dig it out of my 3000+ photos
i like that theory!! so they rejected the idea of a life cycle and continued to build... but then where are they all? there are all these ruins..
So what they would do is basically use dark stone found in the earth of sky and use it to drain the light of creatures of light so much so that it reduced the creatures to black remains. With all of this light energy they stored it in these “power diamonds” to use to power things like air ships and doors and other mechanisms
Well that’s for us to figure out. I have a theory on that as well if you’re interested
oh and then the black remains became light-hungry krills? like the robots in Journey, if you have played that game?
Oh so power diamonds are like light batteries. Thx
It’s darker than that too Cassiopeia
oho
im interested :D
This is my theory on the krill / dark dragons
It’s based off of the concept. Art.
(All of my theories rely heavily on visuals and concept art dialogue)
so the dark matter that we can melt and turn into light is also kinda like this - but with plants?
thats really good. many people can more easily grasp things if they use visual examples ((:
Ikr?!?! That’s how I learn best.
So you wanna know what I think happened to everything ?
yes please!
i havent formed a perspective on this myself yet, but hearing yours is surely exciting
Based on concept art the civilization went to war two times.
two times 0:
The first time they went to war was because light was a. Resource (yes it’s very much like Journey) and that resource was given by Megabird to the creatures of sky. She would drop souls/light down to sky and it would pop up as a butterfly or bird or manta and then it would live out its life cycle giving light willingly to the ancestors (who were flesh and weren’t spirits at this point yet) ....
But the ancestors found darkness. (Dark stone) a new resource that drained light that they could use in their new technology . Instead of asking for light from the elder Creatures like the flying whales... they could just lure and capture mantas and butterflies 🦋 and drain them of their light with these dark stones
The prince who stumbled upon this new resource gave special stones to 6 of his best ancestor followers and made them god like.
The elder creatures did not like this and so they attacked to ancestors to stop them from abusing this power
This was the first war. The ancestors won and built Valley citadel in honor of the prince’s great victory over the creatures. They crowned him their king 🤴
so like... they turned into krills?
So the king (formerly the prince) had his ancestors build a great fort armed with laser cannons to keep the creatures out of Eden (the holy land where you ascend to orbit)
Not yet that’s coming next lol
wait so this is why there are the big skeletons in vault? (sorry for interrupting again lmaoo)
what are the "natural" dark creatures in sky then, if crabs were neutral and krill were mantas?
That’s why graveyard in wasteland is littered with charred black bones of giant elder creatures with holes in them and the canons/turrets are in the wasteland battle field
whurtle
perhaps
OHH i see!!
are whurtles "elder creatures"?
So the elder creatures make one ☝️ final assault on the ancestors to stop them from using the Ark made of dark stone. The ancestors tried to steer the giant ark towards the holy land to stop the elder creatures from following but it didn’t work. The elder creatures sacrificed themselves and an epic explosion 💥 of dark stone and the holy land beacon made the Eden storm. Any elder creature caught in the storm was corrupted into a dark dragon
Yes, one form of them
this is awsome to read
It’s all concept art. 😂
the krill seem to have the shape of an elder manta. seems legit
but then...
brainstorm
they must have lost so much weight
haha
still cool to see here
I have an answer for that in my theory
It’s not entirely weight loss but mass loss. They aren’t touchable flesh anymore. They’re dark spirit entities...
thats a cloud lol
thank you for explaining it
where do the krill get their searchlight from?
Exactly the limitation of the graphics doesn’t do a good job but you’re supposed to get the sense that a dark dragon is not flesh
Not entirely
the Ark..? can it be seen anywhere?
In forgotten ark in wasteland
And the red rocks flying around that hit you in the face at Eden
oh
wait what
The eye of the elder creature
i think the forgotten ark is different from The Ark
but how did the ark get from eden to wasteland? was the storm that powerful in the start?
Look at the bottom of this picture and read the text to the left
i think the ark referred in the concepts is the eden city
those were the energy suckers, right?
i think the forgotten ark is to restore land
And the flying ones. All dark stones charged with evil light draining energies
The forgotten ark is not the real ark the forgotten ark is the life boat version of the ark destroyed that blew up into thousands of pieces at Eden
The real ark that the creatures destroy in Eden in the concepts was big enough to house the entire civilization
The forgotten ark is exactly what it’s called. Forgotten. It was one of the many boats used to escape the second war
At least in concepts that is
I wonder what the ark was doing in the first place. I'm assuming it came from... somewhere shortly after the storm came to be and they were trying to restore the kingdom, or rescue others. because they had those lights that seem to restore destruction and and ark by definition is something that affords protection and safety.
I want to remind everyone this is all just concept art and I am in no way saying this is a the truth
Until tgc says otherwise it’s all speculation
seems plausible
But I love sharing it with others to expand their theory making juices
Sorry for off topic, but where these arts came from?
the forgotten ark is my favorite season related lore, it was my first season and everything about it is so mysterious
Enchantment is my fav too, but people hate it when they come as ts
it's official art from tgc, where specifically I do not know, I think tom zhao's website?
Ok thx!
yeah but at least I get more time to save candles
Check pins 📌
why do you think krills you know... krill us?
because we have light.
Yep, darkness likes snatching light
That's why the plants are everywhere hoarding light
from above we talked about that krills may actually be the whales but corrupted. the whales used to have light, so maybe they want it back?
And even like, butterflies and the spirits all have plants in them
i think they had light and they just got corrupted by darkness
wow... i think i can draw that
what it would be like? evil i think
Probably
like ninjas stealing your light or smth, haha
don't worry i will lol and yep lol
Imagine if you had to burn it alive to beat it...
o H
Oh god that'd make sky into a horror game
yep
coffcoff new eden objective, free a corrupt ancestor 👀

👀
free the king lol
Ooooo
I wish that we can at least see the silhouette of tge king in eden though, it would make such a scary and dramatic atmosphere
I would love an Eden season where we slide downhill from Eden social area to the base of the mountain and end up in the wasteland fortress. Maybe visit a cave with a destroyed holy site in the mountainside.
Xd yea
Trial of Air meets Trial of Fire meets Trial of Earth
A dark stormy ride through steep terrain and ruins
With dark creatures giving chase like from trial of fire
The mountain slope and base is a dramatic unexplored area
or maybe the king is just there (dark one)
Or his memory
An Eden season could feature ancient shamans as spirits, with all their memories being of the Prince / King, just like how Season of Dreams focuses on one skater from the perspective of four spirits who knew her
This is what it would look like
Blue grey and black are the general colors of corruption/darkness
Look at the dark plants, dark dragons and dark crabs.
That’s what happens to them. It kills them
Look to the right image of the “corrupted descendant”
It’s implied that when you are corrupted by darkness you start to petrify (turn to stone) and cease to move/live
Think of what happens to the other children in Eden that you have to save with your winged light
The spirits bodies are exactly the same where they died/where you have to relive their memories
Damn...
Petrified stone ish husks of their bodies. Like a Ash remains of the victims at Pompeii
We know there’s a ton of ancestors who died who weren’t corrupted from the prophecy mural.
I mean we don’t “know” but we can assume
Okay then! That's very interesting
by looking at all of this, could it mean that children of darkness exist? basically skykids that were consumed by darkness and became dark themselves. the sky lore is very interesting to me, and i have several theories about it
Things being capable of being corrupted in concept arts was a big deal. Light creatures where corrupted, an elder was half corrupted, and the final boss, King was corrupted. If the petrified sky kid is a corrupted sky kid, maybe they are either not big enough to fully convert, or had the wrong composition for it.
That’s what the king is implied to be
A fallen child of light corrupted by darkness
so the darkness is like a disease?
Im not sure stuff is corrupted any more, aside from eden itself. Even spirit cores only look coated in corruption but the actual spirits are still nice normal people.
yeah, that's true
Their memories are nice and they are after you’ve used your light to free them
Which is why as a gift they give you an emote
For freeing them from corruption
In my observation that is
True. But the corruption didnt make them go do darkness things. It petrifies them now. I guess thats the new form corruption took in the game.
I believe they did dark things like stole light from creatures, and ignored the natural life cycle.
Used dark stone in their technology
Etc.
manta juicer
maybe they stole light from normal skykids?
O. That I blame on King and his forbidden fruit.
To me, Eden was the ground zero of the corruption which spread among the lands, causing the fall
I don’t wanna take credit but I believe I started manta juicer theory 😂
I think darkness relied on light to exist. We burn darkness plants for light so similarly any form of darkness must feed off of light to survive - explaining why krill attack us upon seeing us.
Also speaking of darkness
It could still just be a overly ornate, manta summoning door opener
I think the reason why no dark plants exist in eden is because there's no light source to consume
As I've stated in the corpse plant theory, Dark plants need a light source to grow
Spirits, light creatures, light imbued items, etc.
So wouldn't krill be the form of pure darkness or corruption?
the only light in eden are the lanterns and such if i recall, but that's before you are reborn
But those are out until the skykids come and light them
If the dark plants rely on light to grow and exist, shouldn't there be a light counterpart?
yeah, unlit until we light them, making it the only source of light in eden
other than friends/other players ofc
Considering Eden having little light sources but abundance of darkness could mean that light used to exist there. It would be difficult to build those light sources in the pnr from scratch.
I mean, Eden used to be a flourishing castle, nearest to Orbit so I imagine it's the area with the most light in the past
agreed
Honking
Flapping
Bonking
Nyooming
Long ago, these four elements lived in harmony
Until the darkness came and corrupted the lands
Oh oh also
But then again, wouldn't it be odd to have a bright city near orbit or rebirth. Suppose noone wanted to rebirth? Would that have caused the darkness overcome the place. I had a discussion a while ago about the Megabird, possibly meaning the light began to fade in that Eden, prime opportunity for darkness.
I thought that light from the realms sourced from the megabird, having a city like that near it could have adverse affects
so relatable
same
Nooo you cant build your metropolis on the holy rebirthing grounds!
King: haha castle go brrrrr
King: haha jk unless..
I think the orbit beam became a thing so that they can go back "home"
Wherever they came from
I don't think it's necessary for the rebirth cycle
More of an.. artificial gate
I think orbit beam came with the Eye of Eden because it’s inside of it
That red huge thing
So yeah..
Maybe if the middle beam only happened after the stars fell. I think the “holy place” aspect from the concept arts could stay if eden was always a place connected to orbit
Prophecy murals suggest that the beam only existed after shiny boi collected the lights from the trials
I think the beam is
Maybe those who came before us were trying to find a way to get them so they can go back home. Maybe the prophets prophecised that there would be a "chosen one"
Hence the spirits trying and failing the trials
I think eden mountain might have been vault before vault moved to vault. But I say that because I LIKE VAULT AS A SEPARATE TOWER BETTER.
Maybe the ancestors had enough of the trials, and prayed to megabird for a solution
Megabird then yeeted a child
The avata—
Oops
The Child of Light
The prophets keeping an eye out for any sky babies they can put in their trials
From the murals and Forest Elder's poem, it seems like they anticipated the fall of the skykids
Tell the elders they will soon have 10,000+ children
And that child of light, who was able to collect the 4 elements then opened the eden beam
Coronated as the king
Or maybe not..
Now that u think of it...
:OOOOO
You thinkin he mighta went up in the beam?
No no hh
I think that the ancestors are not the ones who tried and died in trials, but some other children of light are. On murals in the cave of prophecy all of them were exactly the same as the drawings for the children of the light at other murals
Hold up thoughts are being thonk
There is 8 students of the prophets though. Matches nicely with the number of fallen stick figures.
Oh that makes sense
Well I like the new little revelation Ali provided of the light beam only existing after the elements where brought to it.
The shiny boi couldn't have been the king...
Not the elements but the child who mastered the wisdom of the elements I guess
Well I like the theory too
I think a lot of stuff is PrinceKing
I'LL COME BACK TO THAT THEORY WHEN I'VE ORGANIZED IT IN MY HEAD
Because I keep thinking..
The skykids only fell after the fall of the Sky kingdom, that's why they existed in the first place
And if Eden was corruption ground zero then that means the eden elder was long gone when they fell..
Aaaaa

If the shiny boi was a skykid and was the one that opened orbit beam
Then that would mean the orbit beam only existed recently
Ah there is a catch
When the glowboy floats above the mountain, eden castle is there.
When he takes the elements to the top, it is not
Eden castle must have been built in that time
It might just have been because of the scale I mean djjenenw they're drawn giants in that part
I will accept even teeny tiny castle
Make a personal theory timeline

With Season of Prophecy, a spirit memory have been renewed and in the new memory, a skykid falls to the Isle and some ancestors find them. So, while that skykid masters all the elements, ancestors were still there. Maybe the castle have been built in that time? I think thats irrational (like the king was there all the time why didn’t they built the castle earlier) but maybe??
Because in the theory that sky kid would have been the king. Taking place very soon after the fall of the stars, before the founding of the kingdom.
Topic Question: What is the point of orbit and Eden? What does the beginning speech have to do with the game?
Oh! That is a very interesting detail
Wonder if there’s any deeper meaning or just reused model?
I think it's a clever way of adding a reference to the village without changing the scenery of the amphitheatre
We can assume that an identical statue was destroyed long ago
I personally feel that any paintings we see (other than the intro and maybe elder cutscenes) were from before sky kids were ever planned to exist. We only exist because the ancients died out. All paintings depict ancients.
Cool shot of the roof ornament of Vault, in Eden
We were talking about symbols a lot recently so I wanted to get a closer look at this one
omg props to you man, i was so stumped with that thing! thought it was a stool or light source of some kind 😂
I think it’s also the shape of the yeti mountain in Dreams area
OH
I think I figured out the diamond symbol

I’m pretty sure it also appears in Journey

And i think that it’s a symbol of The Light

The diamond symbol that appears so frequently in Sky also happens to be the same shape as the Eden diamond
...Maybe they are making a Sky 2 where the children/elders and everybody are ACTUALLY praising Darkness
Hence, the Eden diamond
Maybe... Children of the Light and Adults of The Darkness
Where Megabird gifted the adults kidnapped children of the light
And made a deal not to harm Sky, and take care of the children
but from my own game timeline that I made there has to be ocean: teenagers of the dusk
right in the middle
True
Plot twist: the reason why the valley looks so eco friendly and chill is because they hide all the nature-destroying tech underneath the clouds
wasteland is a good example
What if
oh whats under the clouds
behold dawn/dusk/twilight
And maybe the ending with the destruction ended with the birth of Eden and its diamond
Yeah
Maybe dawn dusk and twilight were assigned realms?
as a personal thought I think that eden was dug around the diamond
I have no evidence
it just seems funny to me
OR
The battle between light and dark was to get the diamond; resulting in Eden being dug around it?
it's either been dug out or it's a volcano which does make some sense
True
But also
What about the wind streams that throw the rocks? Where are they coming from?
Possibly from the whirling of the diamond
Much think
there was a theory about the rocks being "discarded cells" of the ascending light creatures
It is possible
Lost remnants of the last whurtles?
I have an idea
Someone should make a family tree of all the light and dark creatures
Reminds me when I was informed every server only limits you to 8 players
ARe We pOxieS?¿
Honestly I wanna know the lore about the krill and GW in general
I saw something about the skeleton bones in gw being of an ancient light creature, the whurtle
Wow
GW is probably another kingdom connected to valley. Perhaps Valley and GW had a war a very long time ago?
Or maybe GW was just taken over by darkness
Maybe
Cuz you can definitely tell it’s some sort of fallen kingdom
I don’t think anyone asked yet; what killed the whurtles?
Well, this leads to the mog
And now it’s just full of toxic water, krill, krabs etc
True
The buildings look like remnants of coliseums or something...
Wait a second
I thought of something...
Nothing to deal with gw though,
Plus there’s the whole storm that sucks you in. It’s been there for a long time
Hmm... though I must say, nowadays I believe it's unlikely the krill are corrupted versions of the elder manta.
This is due to the constant redesigning of the devs. from a blob, to a humanoid, to an oversized burnt tempura. It's like it wasn't their intention to design corrupt light creatures
So, the names of the elders come from Greek symbols/letters, right? Can someone post a pic of the letters?
True
...or maybe they want us to think that?
Maybe it was originaly the ultimate toilet flush where the valley citizens can throw all their waste. Hence, the name wasteland
Jkjk
Lol
Lmao
I really wanna believe they are at a k3, but there were other stuff that seems to point out it is what it is.
Or, maybe it’s the same force that pushes you in the valley races?
Hmm
Maybe, that same force was harnessed and channeled to the races for entertainment, and when it got out of control, it turned into the storm thing and destroyed everything leaving the gw
First than nothing, Hello Lore-seekers :) second, sorry for interrupting anything y'all were discussing now, and third, what the heck with this symbol? I see it everywhere, it have a meaning? Any theory about?
Perhaps it’s a light symbol?? Looks a bit like the sun
It's like a Sun.... A sun
Here
Hmm
well there's not a definite sun but there are definitely stars
The same moon we see at the end of stormlock
Ohohoh
Wait a minute
In the first cave of isle of dawn
There are persons
Mhm
It's ok take your time
If it’s a sun, why does it represent instruments?
maybe it's our star power
True
yaknow that does make some sense when you think about it
What does?
Here.
instruments being a star power
or other items
they make us stars but not like giant balls of gas stars
iirc in the opening cutscene we can see the ancestors falling from the sky in form of stars.
Ohh
Mhm
but something that is clear is that the ancient civilization was separated by the ones with cape and the ones without cape. And the reason because we know that are the races
woah woah woah
where did you get all that?
Ohh
Everything happens in the bath
there is no proof of different races in sky
unless your talking about the valley sliding and flying
I mean, wasn't separated in the way that the cape owners hate the non-cape owners, was like.... Idk, the persons who lives in the country and the ones who live in the city
Yeah I'm talking about these, sorry if i wasn't clear
OH
we don't know how the spirits that have capes got them so making assumptions about how they acted is a bit tough to justify
the ones that fly are the ones with cape and the ones without are the ones who skate
oh no I can rhyme
Exactly
we also don't have proof of them flying
True
Mhm true, true, butttt let's go to valley. There are spirits with cape to relive, right?
yeah but we don't see them use then like we do
Wait; what about the valley elder cut scene? Why is it that they yeeted the flame into the sky?
There are also two different Valley spirits, and two different types of races. One is flying and one is skating. I wonder if each of them take control of either?
Races as in checkered flag and start line and finish line and-
according to the backflip champion memory it looks like they used mantas to "fly"
for religious reasons I think
Oh
This kinda reminds me of that endgame. Where you see the white kid surrounded by blue, then after hugging him, he dissapears, still leaving a blue light with a beam beside it
Here's the whole pic
Is it just me, or are we reliving the memories of the generation that destroyed the sky world (at least polluted it)
I would love to hear you guys’ thoughts on this
If we're talking about the hunter, lumberjack, and miner, it's plausible
However, Idk how does being a handstander destroy the environment
Jkjk
I interpret Champion’s memory as manta riding being a sport, but I like this take
E p i c c
3 skykid
Yup it’s megavird
What the heck is happening here? Light is still flying up to orbit even in the storm
Yes
Yes what? What’s you’re theory here?
Just the storm from eden
It’s not a straight line. Those are spirits or an exterior form of light floating up the beam(called Beacon in concept art)
Look more closely
We know from being right next to the beacon that it is thin
Thin enough to maybe fill about 8 or so sky kids in diameter. But these extra gusts of light floating up are not flying straight up and they look like the entire width of the Eden storm hole 🕳
I through you talk about the thunder xD
Now i see it
Probably all the energy from the crystal
Well uhm there seems to be two beacons I just explored eden today and go oobing
If it’s the crystal then why is the storm far above it ?
You have pics ?????
Well uh i dont have but I will go there
Just fly up and you will see it's a cyclone storm around the crystal
Fly up from where ?
After you die, when you are going to the orbit
Ah this?
This contradicts the cyclone being the storm
The storm clouds are above the cyclone here
Second beam
Look at the lightning
Chat is dead again
I think it's more like how people ride horses---they're just faster than flying, but sometimes it's more convenient to fly on your own
What are we saying about the light from Eden?
wait who are we talking about?
The Eden elder maybe
@pastel brook you’re the best
I hope ppl come back and talk to us
I still wanna talk abt this
I just had a thought that I think would be really cool if the devs put in a new game (this was the best channel I could think of for it, if there's a better one I shouldve posted this in pls lmk). I was thinking about eden and how it is usually thought of as the garden of eden rather than the dark place it is in the game. So my thought was, what if they made a game or an update or something that showed you what eden used to be like before became dark and dangerous and (of course this would all be up to the devs) they could make it resemble the garden of eden (just without the religious context)
They could use it to advance the lore of the game, perhaps give a better view of what the spirits lives were like when they were alive
@upbeat void
Wondering wish character we would be
Or maybe they can add this on a new season has a memory of a spirit who live in eden before everything change
Yeah but like
With all the imagery and references to the biblical tale it'd be pretty hard to pull off an Eden without the religious sibtext
A whole gamE
Yeah I mentioned another game just cause they could potentially go the route of like you get to live as one of the spirits and live out everything that happens
Hmmm
Like your character is one of the spirits
I think it would be a cool new perspective on the same story
A game branched from lore
Exactly!
And its single player right (I mean obviously)
Yeah like
I've experienced games like that
I would imagine, although I'm sure if the devs wanted to keep the social aspect they could come up with something
But wouldn't be a little
Hmmm
Whats the word-
Random-ish?
I mean its cool concept
But for a social game
Yeah, I just thought of it and thought it would be cool to see the story from a different perspective
Its kinda weird just for lore
Hi what's goin on
True, though TGC does have the game journey which is (to my knowledge) widely seen as sort of a non canonical prequel and thats single player
We are just talking about an idea I had
If you scroll up you can see where I explained it, I just dont wanna type it all out again haha
:0
BRO THAT'D BE LIT
Idea
You find the king and you light him up expecting a normal memory
Yay im glad you like it!! I think it would be really interesting cause then we could also see what the Golden Wasteland was like before too
BUT PSYCH! YOU ARE TRANSPORTED INTO HIS MEMORY AND U GOTTA RECONSTRUCT MEMORY-EDEN BY DOING QUESTS
Likr what they're doing with sk8er girl
Yeah I like it
Ooh that's cool
Yeah thats what I was hinting at
Like.... How would spirit memory within a spirit's memory work lore wise
The memory
Was in the spirit yes memory
Spirits*
Autocorrect im-
S h a k i n g
Ah
But that'd imply they died way before...
And the king also... Relived them?
O o p.
I-
O o o
Imagine if we like lived through the life of one elder as seasonal spirits
Yeah thats why I had the idea of your character playing as a spirit. Then you dont have to view the story through memories and you get to live it out along with the spirits
ah
Yeah it would require a lot of lore development which makes it unlikely to happen
But still a cool idea
🤷♀️
Still kinda hanging on to this though
Maybe it's just me
Probably because of age and stuff
And like it crumbles
Im still pretty new to the lore and stuff so im trying to catch up lol
I feel like the krill could make those marks
It can't have been age
So maybe their memories would be whack
When something ages, the wounds shouldn't be that precise
Yeah thats what I was thinking
Scratches especially- it's gotta be attacked by SOMETHING
In a theory you have to include every possibility
could probably explain why the Prairie Temple's full of holes too
Yep
So.... Someone attacked Prairie?
Also maybe why the big mama mantas(skykidnappers) were under the clouds
Something with claws at least
Tbh i sorts just... Think that the elder just bonked his head on the ceiling too many times lol
dude- Prairie Elder is probably the one Elder that we can't expect any sharp ANYTHING from-
Yeah
Yeah that's what makes it weird
Nani
Could be that the pot's just been transportated back
When you're going to orbit
A back and forth delivery to a place that WOULD have those claws in question
And
Yeah?
The creatures legit murk the walls/debris falling
And
Butterflies look like light creatures
What if
Hm?
I f
not just look like
I f?
They are actually light creatures
Grazed it
I don't think a butterfly could do that much damage
The pots are meant to contain them after all
I mean those butterflies be kinda flutterin
i'm not opposed to a light creaturr having made those marks but if it's the creature that was meant to go into those pots then I'm having doubts
Yeah uh
There's not crabs in the pots XD
This is a weird question that feels best suited for here...
Do the krill have names?
yet.
Of all the creatures we see in Sky I think they're the least likely to cause damage
Krill is the name
Yeah you're right
Excellent, the one in the ship is now named Francis
Awe
First krill you see is Mavis
I named mine Tobi
Pog
Noooo, shipwreck
Ark Krill is Levi
Oh XD
First wasteland krill is Luther
I like Mavis krill
I named them all Satan tbh
First Krill Area: Mavis
Ark: Levi
Shipwreck: Francis
Graveyard: Berdholt, Jeni, Gabriella, Fred
Battlefield: June, Day, Ella
What about the ones in the last trial?
I wanna name one Chad
those ain't krill but that's a lot of fuzzies you gotta name XD
Oh yeah I forgot about fuzzies
Which eden krill is chad
The ones with lice
Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel
I feel like we should keep religion out of it since the game doesn't base itself on a religion
There's some undoubtedly biblical imagery though
Yeah
I don't see why we should keep religion out of this if it's to draw parallels
Thats true, I just dont want to tie it to a certain religion if the creators haven't confirmed it
I mean, it kinda has its own religion
WE ARE GETTING SIDE TRACKED
Yeah thats exactly what I meant
Cuz they hunt children
Relax, it's not as if Christianity is the only religion we've seen depicted here
Anyway, moving on
i standby my reasoning that it could have just been transportated back from a place that WOULD leave scratches-
Me still stuck on Wasteland fight
MEXT
I dont know if I missed it
Oh
Maybe its where the eden elders spirit lives or something
But
are those not the remnants of Eden that got blasted into space
My theory is it's the remains of the castle of Eden
Where the King used to vibe in
That makes sense
Eden isn't just the place we visit- that was barely half of Eden
Cuz again, the diamond exploded
I-
WHAAAAA
Oh wait
Im quickly realizing i dont know as much about the lore as I thought
What did you think it was before this anyway-
Nah thats makes sense
Shouldn't have lived on a nuclear reactor
Imma go find a YouTube video to explain it all to me lol
JSJJDJDD
I'll be back in a bit
That's totally why the opening says "if only they had listened"
THEY SAID NOT TO BUILD A CASTLE ATOP BIG DIAMOND
Jkjk
Maybe they were told not to return to Orbit?
Because maybe they were kicked out??
WAITWAIT
the what-
All that rubble
H u h
With the stone childs
Yeah
Point of no return is still within Eden
The marinara trench
Ah....
Ah.
I'd assume it was a hallway to whatever the area with the corpses were
Yeah
Hmmm
Judging from all the return shrines...
Waittt
darn English is just failing me today
Hmmm
Maybe it was supposed to be a holy area?
Or a place of fast travel?
OK .ETS ASSUME THEY ARENT CHILDREN
Oh
Mark them as like-
Holy area or some kinda courtyard- it was pretty wide and had its own gates
I think they're just... Lightless corpses
They were bringing gifts to this king dude
Like what would happen to a spirit if all their light was drained
And chaos unraveled
i'm assuming the gifts were the children in this or i might have missed something
Hm?
.... Why would he appreciate children tho
Manz on some Maw stuff
No no I'm just trying to wrap my head around what Basil just said-
And why did they do it when the diamond was to implode
GIVE THE MAN HIS CHILDREN
I meant like
Just... Dead-ified.
You know how we give the elders this flame
Maybe
The king was trying to fix something
Like the forest elder
And its went
Horribly wrong
Amd made the storm worse

H m
That fits my idea of how the diamond exploded
Cuz to me the diamond was imbalanced or impure
Wait so-
And the king could try to use winged light to fix it
Im smart for once?
Xd

OHHHHHH
Wait wait uh
I dont have pictures
But
If you land on the castle in orbit
And look around
I think it was something I found idk
I cant remember jesus
Were they the shrines of Vault or-
I don't land on Eden all that much but I might do it later just to waste my remaining memory oj this phone ckdnckke
Hmmm
Amd when its near the castle
YEET yourself down
Right not left*
Right is to get a better grip/stay on
Hm....
