My thought process is currently going, Ancestors lived in Eden and built the initial infrastructure, then were kicked out before the Elders arrived. When the Elders came, they lived primarily in Eden, but since they can clearly operate outside the bounds of time and space they would've been able to interact with the rest of the world, too.

@patent veldt sorry i know this is late, but the crab grill fireplace in wasteland was added during belonging as a reference to the "inside" joke of being able to flip over a crab, carry it, and drop it on top of a fire, thus "cooking" it. at the time, the joke was still relatively pretty new, and had recently blown up a bit then. so it's not exactly "canon"

Hey all! So I have a theory about the Golden Wasteland. Sorry if everyone knows about it already but I’ve been thinking about it for a while.
So before the land of Sky fell to darkness, the Wasteland was a place where the shipments for different parts came from. (Pots in Prairie, boats from different areas, etc.) So then, the big shipments were on the large ark (not the season one) and all of the goup stuff that takes your light away is what it sailed on. But it’s also where the krill dwelled. When the big ark was on its way a krill from the bottom went up and attacked the boat. Eventually, the ocean of goup sank and wasn’t able to keep the krill in it. So the krill adapted to it and were able to fly. Then since then the krill destroyed the land, and that’s how the Wasteland came to be.
Sorry if this is too complicated to understand. But I hope you like this little theory of mine.
That could also be true! Except we might never know unless TGC gives us the real explanation. Which might never happen.

on a similar topic: I've noticed similarities between Hidden Forest and Golden Wasteland - they share factory-like architecture, and both have areas in the environment that are damaging to skykids 
also, almost all of the plants are dead-
this has given me the impression that these two realms are the "outer edges" of the Ancient civilization, with Valley of Triumph being the capital (it's also the only realm with residential areas)
presumably, the ship ruins at the edges of Isle, Prairie and Wasteland would be shipments towards these factories and/or Valley, but then... why would the Vault and Eden be situated at the very edge of the land? I'd love to talk about this some more

Okay so let me explain my post I guess. Rebirth requires first dying. Skykids acknowledge this and live accordingly. But if they were to suddenly not be able to die and went to Eden, they'd just be trapped in the storm indeffinately

Re birth is kinda a strange topic BC in sky how to sky kids reproduce? They are born kids and they are not in hybernation bc they are still learning communication from spirits and im pretty sure they talk in their own language. We need to know what sky kids are made of and who's creating them? Are that stars? Did elders create them?
