My personal thought is that, from a creative standpoint, there's clear differences but it doesn't make sense to write an entirely new lore. So yeah, take it all with a grain of salt, but it can give you an idea of the creators' process and vision of the lore

My thought is that Megan is like the supreme God, the Elders are like minor gods, and Skykids are kind of like Hawai'ian kapua - often translated as demigods, but that implies human parentage which is incorrect

Okay, so iirc (my memory is unreliable at best), someone in general was talking about the constellations not really looking like their drawings. That made me think about real constellations like Ursa Major, which really does look like a bear if you see all stars as they appeared pre-industrial revolution. Now you can only see the brightest stars and it doesn't really look like anything. And since the ancestor spirits form the constellations, basically what I'm getting at is there are probably more spirits that we can't see for some reason but are still there.
I have no idea why we might not be able to see certain spirits - perhaps only those with really strong emotional ties to a place are visible - and it's a fragmentary theory at the moment - but yeah.

A lot of the spirits' memories are really everyday life, though - especially in the earlier realms. Like the bellmaker, just going about his daily job, or the bird call spirit literally just. Climbing around a ruin

The best way I can think to explain it is Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, where their version of Ancient Athens still has ruins. Which was, of course, historically accurate. The time was still Ancient Greece, people had just been building insane things there for so long that there were also ruins. So imo the bird call boi exploring ruins doesn't mean they're a spirit that survived Eden, it just means those structures are especially old.

Old ruins typically get more worn down as time goes on, but if the parts of a building that might fall apart have already fallen, the rest of it usually settles into a more stable place. Unless people are climbing all around them, like with Pompeii, in which case they break irreparably.

The idea is that candles are actually objects of emotional significance that we (the dark kid) cannot possibly understand, but our light (a light kid who we cary around and protect because that's our job) absolutely does and wants to connect with it. Cause of this, we see it as a candle - an object which our light can connect to and get something from.

- It's an intentional thing and has some significance

what if eden diamonds is not the only one of kind? like maybe there was another power diamonds like eden one but smaller and one of them used on the vault elevator
what if those diamonds share the same bond on each other? imagine i likea hivemind or somesort. if one diamond reacting on something, other diamonds will reacted too.
i imagine eden diamond is like the center power of power diamonds. when eden diamond went mental and caused storm, other smaller power diamonds might reacted but not in large scale like eden diamond. maybe thats why there is crack on vaukt elevator, the diamond underneath it might be a power diamondlike eden diamond and reacted when eden diamond goes boom
