The boats orbs dont match with their story

My guess to that was that maybe the 2 smaller boats in the pic use the orbs temporarily while the big boat actually has all the orbs.

Vault is very mysterious tbh. But we can tell that halfway going to the 2nd floor the real dream/hologram starts

Because you start vault with the elevator. And you end vault with the same elevator but in ruins (same place too)

Tho i can't explain why the vault summit is there when u enter eden. Even tho starting from the 3rd level you dont see any walls. Someone here posted a drawing of how vault might have looked like

yeah. third floor onwards i believe it's all projections by lanterns to cover up the broken state of vault possibly the levels themselves exist but they are broken down, just like what we see after the vault cutscene. but that's just the last level of vault which leads you to eden

Has anyone ever wondered why orbit portal changes appearance depending on where you stand in orbit? It has a stone surrounding like the home space portals from orbit bench but from down below it has no border other than its glow.

I think the stone gate is still there, but the light is too bright and we cannot see it

I don’t think so. Look closely at the shape. The glow stays the same shape but there is not a glow where the stone would be. It’s just gone.

Those were the best two shots I had but it’s more clear when jumping down from orbit bench or being super close to the portal.

Now watch it get patched in the next update as a bug

Also one much more obvious thing I’m sure some lore people would already know but The Light is where we are told to visit when finishing a constellation. So basically visit orbit plate. Also The Light is the crown constellation, better known as the friendship constellation. That has to mean something surely.

it's my col = king/prince = eden elder = us theory again

megabird in concepts is like the deity/embodiment of light. so in a way megabird can be called 'the light' (taking the humongous star bird in orbit/credits as megabird).

there is a singular child of light in the intro, who i think is the king/prince but the col took a different form as them. child of light -> direct child of megabird. so i guess in this way the col/king/prince are embodiments of light too.

in vault cutscene's eden mural, our friend constellation briefly appears before the whole mural comes up of presumably the eden elder. and it's the constellation of a crown.

to sum my theory up:
megabird is the light. megabird's child, who is the king (= eden elder = us) is also the light. and skids make up the king/eden elder constellation, so we are also the light in a way.

(orbit is also referred to as 'the light beyond' according to the isle/prairie transition + the ost track)

(coherence in writing is definitely not my strong suite 😔 sorry)

I’m curious though, where is orbit called the light beyond in isle and prairie? The elder ultimate message was visit the light, not the light beyond if I recall correctly?

here is what I would like to call

The siphon theory

Note: some part of the theory extend upon harmonic theory of the color spectrum(just a brief paragraph i wrote awhile ago)

I had a random thought one day that the holy land Eden was a siphon of light for the megabird, and
that the megabird itself is the power of connections --- the Light. the cyclic continuum we
percieve as rebirth is then the paths of connections, the journey which light travels harmonzing and
linking the lands before reaching the siphon. I would like to think that the megabird is an aura of
Light, from which all of her children possess fragments of that aura and thus bears her connection
through their invididual journey. Their eventual return through the siphon into orbit marks not the end of their quests, but a new beginning as they returned the connections by merging into the megabird. In a way, the megabird sacrifices herself everytime to sent messengers of the Light, in the hopes that their collective unity and connections are greater than the sum of its parts.

The first creations(generation) of the megabird were the creatures of the Light, this includes the light mantas, fungi and others we see in-game. These preliminary lifeforms were forged to carry the connections into the worlds where nature has deemed desolate, restoring the physical landscape and reflourishing faunas and floras. As time progressed, the megabird realized that many planes in dispair were not accesible through the physical realm, examples of this would be the mind, spirit plane.

The second creations(generation) of the megabird were the ancestor, this includes the elders of each realm. Emotions and other anthropomorphic attributes were forged into the ancestors, but most importantly, free will(this becomes a double-edged sword later). These travellers were lead by the elders, which were assigned by the megabird to lead each gathering of ancestors. As with the power of free will, the ancestors and elders would no longer be obiliged to return to the siphon, though in the beginning, this traditions was passed down through generations, as alluded by the ferryman ancestor that sheparded spirits into the holy land. Their masks channeled their connections through the non-physical realms, allowing them to visit them. Ancestors wThe elders in particular possess greater power than the ancestors, in that they can transmute light(as examplified in the elder cutscenes), but after some time. either due to their immense responsibility or other factors, were tainted with desires and selfishness, causing them to be indifference, initially losing their emotional capacity, and later to be manipulated by the darkness. This is where I think harmony plays in, as I previously mentioned in a random thought some time ago, the first line of the intro in english is "With the stars united, our light was infinite." which yields significances that the unity of stars formed an barrier impenetrable by darkness alone, hence infinite. It is rather through the disharmony in the elders connections

that allowed darkness to engulf their wills and manipulate them. In the elder cutscenes before the elders retrieve our gift of light, and reconnect them, there present an uneasiness in their actions and appearance(this is especially characterized by Daleth, Lamed and Samekh). As if they are reminded of something when seeing us or the flame which we wield. Ultimately this results in the obstruction of the siphon in Eden via a power diamond imbued with darkness, the energies of light overcharged the power diamond and opened a rift into the kingdom of sky and consequently the storm, it is within this period that darkness and darkness creatures began to leak into sky through the opned rift, for instance krills and various form of crabs and plants. The elders now aware of their mistake, formed an alliance in attempt to reverse their wrongdoings. The events of the resistence eventually ended with the prince sacrificing himself to sustain the siphon and its connection, with the hope that one day withenough Light surging through orbit the megabird would cleanse the realms of darkness and bring peace back to those forgotten lands.
