queen owl

Right!

If the elders did flee the darkness as intro says , and there are people still in the sky where the darkness went because more do fall later, it follows they'd know more about it. Or be watching it closely. Not necessarily future sight. Just... we messed it up already.

#

Wait no

#

Spirits fled the darkness? Elders fled darkness? Idk depends who is speaking in intro

bitter shale
#

My guess? Its either Megan or part of the prince consciousness

#

Lmaoooooo

#

I love that

queen owl
#

Beautiful.

#

When 4th skykid shows up just like: fine. Here's what you want to know. Get on with it and good luck I guess

#

Prototype 3 was rude so isle grampa refused to give map

thin dirge
#

With the intro, I think they're just winged lights

undone harbor
#

those stars aren't wl though

thin dirge
#

One goes down to our skid, which is a demonstration of our purpose

bitter shale
#

Oo pEyes

thin dirge
#

The stars arent, but the four streams of light are

bitter shale
#

Lmaooo

#

It is what actually happened in isle cutscene anyway-

kind bobcat
#

Nodding is the universal sign of gratitude, from the sky kingdom to orbit

undone harbor
#

the birds in Isle cutscene just got light spelled

bitter shale
#

"We cool bro?"
"Ye, we cool"

thin dirge
#

I think they're just winged lights, thats why I theorized the Prince sacrificed all their lights, so that we could collect them and bring them to the storm

#

All those lights came from one area. Not where the stars fell

#

They came from somewhere above Eden

kind bobcat
#

Prince's memories pPogKid

bitter shale
#

Ooh nice catch butter!

#

I always thought they are fallen from the sky as well

thin dirge
#

They could also just have manifested on the places that were strongly associated with the Prince, or maybe the Prince's strongest memories

#

Then... What was the Prince doing in the deepest part of the Vault Archives..?

queen owl
#

Oh that's very neat

thin dirge
bitter shale
#

Then... What was the Prince doing in the deepest part of the Vault Archives..?
Learning

thin dirge
#

No, the Archives were stated to be FORBIDDEN

undone harbor
#

crack

short owl
#

maybe reasearch for something big?

thin dirge
#

And Prince was in the DEEPEST part of it

bitter shale
#

Except maybe for the highest authority?

Or he just went sneaky sneaky

undone harbor
#

why does my messege get deleted ahhh

thin dirge
#

Probably the area with the most forbidden knowledge

queen owl
#

Maybe he snuck in? Or maybe it's only forbidden to normal people and he had a key

I need to go back to spreadsheet lovely chatting!

short owl
#

@undone harbor it happens when fearbot sees a nono word.

undone harbor
#

vault is cold and watery down there you don't want the prince to see that

#

@undone harbor it happens when fearbot sees a nono word.
@short owl but there wasn't any-

bitter shale
#

I mean if the wl is part of the prince's memory...

What did he do on the roof of flying race in valley?

solar relic
#

he was racing the valley elders, got stuck and he got too scared to jump and continue SkyLOL

bitter shale
#

Hhhh nice one prince, nice one

#

he was racing the valley elders, got stuck and he got too scared to jump and continue SkyLOL
Thats actually quite cute SkyLOL

solar relic
#

hm but thing is i wonder if the buildings/objects/etc were there or in that condition when the prince was around. probably not though so i think that's why the wl is in some of the most wacky places pPopcorn

bitter shale
#

Yeah, like that one in gw ship where the krill lurking

#

There is 3 wls in that area

thin dirge
#

Well, maybe the WL are not placed where the Prince was exactly, more like the Prince was around the area. Plus, landscapes changed a lot. May not actually be literally the location of the Prince, just the areas the Prince has been to

bitter shale
#

what did he even do on the top of prairie temple-

#

Did he got kiddnaped by the mantas and stuck on there

thin dirge
#

Looking around the place?

#

Needed to have a good look on Prarie?

bitter shale
#

how did he go down then- SkyLOL

thin dirge
#

Cape-
Well, my headcanon was the Prince did have a cape of sorts...

#

Or maybe had one at some point?

#

Do remember the Prince may or may not be a child-

bitter shale
#

He did have poncho SkyLOL like the guy from Journey

thin dirge
#

They probably wouldve wandered to a lot of places, that usually others would not go off to

#

Like, exploring I mean

#

Or maybe the Prince was inside the Temple, but the WL ended up on top of the Temple?

#

Would make sense to me-

undone harbor
#

Ok ok so serious theory about archives

#

I follow the headcannon that vault is built in wasteland

#

Before the big vault we see today there was only the underground archives

#

Before gw fell the archives was a place for well, secret government stuff

#

Then war happened and archives became a place for forgery and keeping the troops

#

Maybe that’s why a side won and the other lost (ancestors vs creatures or ancestors vs eachother

viscid torrent
#

So this is my drawing for the vault is destroyed theory

#

As we can see, after the 2nd floor we dont see any walls, just pitch black and invisible walls

bitter shale
#

So.... we somehow float from second floor to the uppest floor?

viscid torrent
#

Its called magic

#

I still dont have a theory on that;-;

thin dirge
#

It seems its from the power of the Flame/light

#

There's flame particles when you levitate-

viscid torrent
#

But where do those particles come from?

thin dirge
#

Hmm, from probably the last remains of energy that sustains the Vault itself?

#

Which is flame-

viscid torrent
#

Yeah we see flame everywhere

#

Like as the source of light?

#

Its looks pretty destroyed

thin dirge
#

When we get to the next floor from the first floor, you could still get down to the first floor while the elevator thing goes up, and you would see that the entire place suddenly looks different, and you see what the Vault actually looks like

#

I tried it

viscid torrent
#

Golden?

thin dirge
#

Yeah

#

Someone here suggested that the Vault probably uses up the last of its energy as we ascend up

viscid torrent
#

That is a good theorypWow

@bitter shale may I ask why? Just was curious for a while now :3

bitter shale
#

altho ngl Alef and Daleth can be a cool twins names

#

uh, well, Teth is a concept name for Forest Elder

lethal stump
#

thèse are the actual concept names:
Isle: Daleth (ד)
Prairie: Ayin (ע)
Forest: Teth (ט)
Valley: Samekh (ס)
Wasteland: Tsadi (צ)
Vault: Lamed (ל)
Prince: Alef (א)
King: Resh (ר)
PLEASE NOTE: These names have appeared in concept art and are often used when referring to the elders. They are no longer canon, they are fanon.

anyone got any theories about those orbs dropped by the birds?

livid valley

Glowing poop

#

Jkjk

tender dune

#

i dont think i've heard anyone go deep about those bird orbs aahhEyes

livid valley
#

pEyes indeed

bitter shale

excuse me for a moment but what is LightGreen

tender dune

green light dropped by manta during enchantment season

bitter shale

maybe thats the poop the devs talkin about- pEyes SkyLOL

#

ohh enchant light

#

wait those are dropped from manta? i never see it clearly

tender dune

the green light yes

#

the orbs im talking about no

bitter shale

since i just chillin doing instru by waiting for that green orb landed near me SkyLOL

#

anyway

#

maybe those are like... light residu?

#

like, fairy concept of dropping pixie dust

#

or butterflies dropping dust whenever they flap their wings

solar relic
#

hmm the concept of light orbs all started with the lightseekers (which is why there's 3 orbs in that one cave in isle). i wasn't around for it but i'll see what i can find whenever i have the time to watch the lightseeker stuff pPopcorn

tender dune
#

i dont have a pic of megan giving the prince the flame but those birds look a lot like these

#

i wonder if the reason for birdnest wasnt to eat the birds but for harvesting those orbs from them

tender dune

green light was for the grass i think

bitter shale
#

Also res, is your pfp about Lamed on fire-

fierce spade
#

Well LightGreen is an alchemical symbol representing air
Idk if that’s of significance to this

bitter shale
#

Well, you see...

Maybe it does represent air, the green light

solar relic
#

yes it is a lamed parody of pFIRE

livid valley

i mean we also have LightBlue LightCyan LightOrange LightPurple LightRed LightGreen

LightCyan air
LightBlue water

LightPurple purple

bitter shale

"The spirit needs LightGreen green light. The fable is they are gifts to the earth from the sky." from enchant ssn
then the SkyBOO spirit uses the light to call upon grass in FA

bitter shale

I can only remember cyan in valley lol

tender dune
#

you can see two mantas flying up with the green light

#

but anyways my question is the birds not the green light stickerGloomy

bitter shale
#

They stole the green light from the scare spirit but dropping it when they try to run SkyLOL

Apologize-

livid valley

I was about to write that

solar relic

ah sorry gin stickerGloomy

ginko*

tender dune
#

its ok xD

#

im just more curious about those bird orbs because i dont recall anyone mentioning them

#

the green light is always mentioned

bitter shale
#

My take it, those white dropping from the birds are equivalent with pixie dust from fairy?

#

Or like how bee sometimes dropping pollen wheneve they fly

livid valley

stickerHeart thanks

solar relic
#

seems like the spirit was collecting the bird's light? maybe extra light essence or something like that

#

since prenc holds the same orb as the fishes, could be that he harnesses the life force/power/essence of light animals

tender dune
#

btw grill someone called (Chrisis is) used to ask a lot about you

bitter shale
#

Are they like, carrying piece of souls? Some of them got dropped and grow on earth as grass

Who knows

Life essence!

livid valley

btw grill someone called (Chrisis is) used to ask a lot about you
pEyes ah yes

bitter shale
#

They might carrying life essence!

#

Do you think LightGreen represent life?

yeah its weird that the birds would come from birdnest direction to drop them halfway while they're heading to praire temple

livid valley

I see you lurker pSquint stop pretending

fierce spade
#

Okay I found another link between alchemical symbols and those color symbols

solar relic
#

heh lore has a lot of lurkers pPopcorn i mean i was one too before i started chatting here in like june-july

anyway yeah, pretty much due to the power diamonds being produced at the expense of the environment, that's how the kingdom fell. i think the initial methods to harvest light started with the bird guy since no harm was done to the birds (iirc), just collecting whatever they dropped. but as they wanted more diamonds they resorted to more,, violent methods,,

looks at the theory that mantas were crushed up in the power diamond factories

fierce spade
#

LightOrange could mean oil
It’s a bit farther off but i found one minor similarity

#

So whoever said oil thay ine time

#

You were right lmaooo

#

But I’m getting mixed signals with a lot of the other symbols???

tender dune
fierce spade
#

So basically here’s my findings and like comparisons keep in mind I’m not the most educated in this stuff I’ve just researched it:

#

Oil: LightOrange
Air: LightGreen

tender dune
#

LightRed The spirit longs for Red light. They can be found where darkness prevails.
LightBlue The Spirit seeks Blue light. Rumors point toward the pure waters of a mountain lake.
LightCyan The spirit yearns for Cyan light. It lingers among early gusts of wind.
LightGreen The spirit needs Green light. The fable is they are gifts to the earth from the sky
LightPurple The spirit prays for Purple light. It is said they hoard ancient secrets.
LightOrange The spirit cries for Orange light. They offer warmth in times of cold.

henlo

livid valley
#

Idk Jen pEyes ask them if their new to lore

tender dune
#

oil makes sense oriaan but for LightGreen it gave us grass and flowers while LightCyan actually gave us wind

gilded fossil
#

/why does air gave us dirt??

fierce spade
#

mmmm, and its very possible they ould have mixed air and earth

#

so I could go with LightGreen being earth bc in a way it makes sense when you look at it w/o context

#

plus earth is just air flipped over

tender dune
#

you can find enchant cutscenes in the pins too stickerPeace

livid valley
#

actually

#

I have a minor theory about that but im not too sure yet

fierce spade
#

this is a very minor one but that symbol apears alot in game
some alchemists have also used the purple thing to represent antimony but its the least popular symbol for it
but if its a power diamond, power diamonds (I think its confirmed) led to the destruction of the kingdom
antimony is (I think so at least) a toxic metal

#

so its rocky but interesting

tender dune
fierce spade
#

also alot of the time antimony is represented without the dot, or with an entirely diferent symbol so like lmaoo

boreal nebula
#

I noticed all the lights have effect on Ark tied to their original place or rather the spot you take them

topaz girder
#

the door from sunny forest to the broken temple area has those diamond symbols

tender dune
#

these symbols are everywhere

topaz girder
#

seems like it's something important

fierce spade
#

could be an insignia for the kingdom

boreal nebula
#

Lkke these. In water, cleat water, in earth gives grass (a gift to air, single grass is blown in the winds), air and winds in Ark

short owl
#

Didn't the concepts include a step in the cycle where souls were stripped of memory?

boreal nebula
#

These 3 are the more cryptic

fierce spade
#

concept for what?

solar relic
#

yo what null what did the concept look like

tender dune
#

also found on pots if i wasnt mistaken LightPurple

solar relic
#

let me see if i can find it

fierce spade

actually the right one is most likely oil

topaz girder
#

red light is the murals

gilded fossil
#

/yea the pots has that thing, you can see it when getting ayin's hair

#

/the pic button thing

topaz girder
#

orange light gives sunlight , right ?

boreal nebula

At least this LightRed is similar to the murals which let to appears despite not having the same colors

tender dune

oriaan's theory that LightOrange is = oil / fire sounds most plausible ngl
"The spirit cries for Orange light. They offer warmth in times of cold."

"The spirit longs for Red light. They can be found where darkness prevails."
why would he want something where darkness prevails at?

topaz girder
#

light can prevail darkness ???

short owl

Not that one... Hmm...

topaz girder
#

LightOrange 🤠

boreal nebula
#

But are the tents really a secret or is the Enchanters' jobs the secret till u figure they created potions and such

solar relic
#

is it the office mural one

short owl
#

It was talking about how souls return to megabird full of experience

topaz girder
#

what if they created the potions to stay alive

tender dune
#

i think the knowledge of potion making and such

fierce spade
#

also keep in mind alot of my stuff may not be right bc im just connecting the symbolism and simmiliarites to alchemy, so like, everything I Throw out there is just an observation

tender dune
#

like if they actually had those lights with them when they crashed they would have actually lived normally. but without those they had to endure the harsh hot-cold environment

boreal nebula
#

If this LightOrange is oil or fire... I don't see the slight est connection to its finding place nor the effect which brought to Ark

topaz girder
#

the knowledge of making something in general - maybe just knowledge idk

tender dune
#

they're previous scholars. makes sense why they'd need knowledge

topaz girder
#

If this LightOrange is oil or fire... I don't see the slight est connection to its finding place nor the effect which brought to Ark
fire brings warmth , forest is p.cold . it gives sunlight to ark , probably because uhh sun is fire idk

tender dune
#

maybe they needed the knowledge to know hot to use LightOrange oil to make fire

#

because he prays for knowledge

boreal nebula
#

Yes maybe it is knowledge, after all there is a mural about Enchanters meeting Scholars

tender dune
#

you also see the shiver spirit shivering. makes sense that forest is cold

topaz girder
#

it brings warmth , so ig the connection to forest is since forest is cold they give warmth

tender dune
#

ttyl stickerWave have fun theorising SkyWelcome

solar relic

the fire element brings up the shop iirc

boreal nebula

I think jjust the final touch, shops

the fire element gives sunlight , purple light gives stores

boreal nebula

I think it would have been clearer to have warm/fire to be the firstpThink

topaz girder
#

i remember them pretty clearly

boreal nebula
#

Also the Red light... Seemed ominous the first time I saw it, maybe its because it's the result of the dark spot we found it (and maybe ArkSpirits had to travel to a dark place too to discovering it)

#

So it represents their final goal which led them to their terrible fate

solar relic
#

yeah the red light pretty much drove the lore chat crazy from what i heard SkyLOL but after that nothing really lore related came up

topaz girder

KINGPROPAGANDA

topaz girder

teth probably is on king's side , with the amount of king propaganda , their mask thingy , and they probably play a big part since they forge diamonds

ahh no wonder. the king literally has rocks for a head and brain pPopcorn

boreal nebula
solar relic
#

teth probably is on king's side , with the amount of king propaganda , their mask thingy , and they probably play a big part since they forge diamonds
as for this i somewhat agree that teth is on the king's side. at the very least, the king was involved with teth/forest (probably due to power diamond shenanigans)

gilded fossil

/oooh?

all of the realms has some kind of king propaganda , isle has a bit but not much though

Both broken by the close up look of them

also - since that's the case for the vault candles, is the same true for the rest of the temples?
actually, never mind it doesn't make sense. i know some of the temples have more than one candle

oh that kind of looks like the structure of lamed's mask

boreal nebula

just a bit

it's the horizontal line in the middle

Narrator: “darkness came and the stars fell...”
we are confirmed as the child of light.
The only thing that makes it passed orbit to Megabird are spirits/stars souls, the light of a being.... the bodies of the child of light part ways with the souls of the fallen and sent back to Sky kingdom/planet.

Does this heavily imply that “darkness” that came is perhaps the physical bodies? Material bodies?

#

Maybe darkness is the embodiment of everything that comes with being a living human being. A star in the sky is devoid of a decaying body. A need for food or to travel wasting energy.

topaz girder
#

maybe darkness came , and they were " corrupting " the ancestors , ( not really corrupting , like making the ancestors do sins or whatever sjsja im bad at explaining ) , and megan sent the elders ( the stars ) to teach them and prevent the darkness to " corrupt " the ancestors even more

compact olive

And the perfect ecology of light and darkness is you can’t truly know happiness without knowing sadness. You cannot know sacrifice without knowing corruptive selfishness

fierce spade

but like the purpose of a skykid is very up in the air bc its not rlly ellaborated on

new theory? pEyes

i mean, this implies that ancestors are stars-

well, we know they’re the stars in the intro constellations

so ancestors might be star-ish

bitter shale

hmm yeah pEyes

i always thought the elders was the stars and ancestors are earth dwellers-

lethal stump

thats whatd make sense
especially since the ancestors were down there first

#

however
i have a theory

bitter shale
lethal stump
#

i think the constellations & Ancestor Stars are like in greek myth, where important/impactful people would become constellations
so if an Ancestor did lotsa important things in their life, maybe they got to become a star in one of the constellations

bitter shale
#

huh, thats a good one pEyes

but, ancestors were down on earth first ebfore the elders... is that mean, like, stars occasionally fell down to earth/sky realm?

fierce spade
#

wait the ancestors came before the elders?

lethal stump

i think they were made by megabird and were sent down to earth

#

so by virtue of being a « child of megabird », theyre connected to the stars, and are able to return to the stars if they’re virtuous

Thats a good theory

and even after the elders goes to sky realm too, stars still falling (from isle elder murals)

It seems like skychildren, spirits, and elders are all different races or species or whatever. But they do share some similarities?

bitter shale

we bring them light so they can shine again, as their gratitude they teach us how to live?

lethal stump

it seems all sentient bipeds in game have some relation to the cosmos/stars

#

sentient bipeds being Elders, Ancestors, and Skids

hushed steeple
#

I guess it makes sense since everything comes from the motherbird

thorn trout
#

After all, when we save the spirits, it does say to "save your ancestors". That does suggest that we have some relation to the spirits.
But we also know that unlike us, spirits were not creatures of light.
And Elders are stars, which is a whole nother level.
So we're all different races, but we do share something that we haven't figured out yet.

bitter shale

elders are big stars, ancestors are smol stars, and skids are... starlight?

Rather obviously, the elders can't generate light either
So what is going on here

hushed steeple
#

The stars represent our actual souls, while in sky they have a vessel for a body?

lethal stump
#

we’re something more powerful than Elders and Ancestors considering they don’t have chest Light like we do

bitter shale
#

the fallen stars start to lose their light, therefore its the job for skids to bring them light?

lethal stump
#

they had to make fake light
we have it as a heart

thorn trout
#

That's what happens when you're made personally by a god to restore a kingdom

hushed steeple
#

Maybe they lost that light, so they tried to recreate it?

#

Cause everytime we visit an elder, when they get the light we give them, we can see their power restore in a sense

thorn trout
#

It IS odd that there were two species of non-light humanoids living in a world against darkness,
And only now is there a sentient light race being created.

bitter shale
#

hold on, what if the elders did dint have chest light, rather they have eyes light

lethal stump
#

maybe the ancestors and elders messed up and their light was taken
and now we have to give it back to them and bring them back
i sound like im stating the obvious, but just to clarify

thorn trout

Ooh, fair point
But that seems a bit weird with the rest of the sky world building???

bitter shale

like like like, did you guys remember what happened after we give each of elders the light?

lyric isle
#

short owl
#

Maybe they are going out? If they had no protection against the cold and dark, then the darkness would begin to sap away at them. Ancestors were better prepared, so the elders gave their light away in hopes of defending it, but this came at a heavy cost to themselves. We come along prepared to be a mix of light and dark, which keeps the darkness from sapping away our light, and bring extra light to jumpstart elders and ancestors. Now we collect the light that got drained away by burning plants and candles, and return that to the cycle

I think Lily is saying that capes are light storage tools, and while we have the ability to directly use that light, ancestors used tools to do that instead

#

did I summarize it ok?

lethal stump
#

reminds me of the magic fabric in journey

thorn trout
#

-Yeup!
Thanks Null, saved me a long explanation XD

#

Probably where they used it from

hushed steeple
#

Ohhh ok

#

thanks!

lethal stump
#

so in order to make these...magic capes
how do y’all think they’re made ? fabric infused with light while weaving ?

#

or just
✨magic✨

thorn trout
#

...Both?

fierce spade
#

✨magic✨

thorn trout
#

New headcanon:
The elders had to do it themselves. They had more power as stars than the spirits, so they knew the methods to keep the light inside the capes.

lethal stump
#

ooh, and that’s why there’s so few capes

thorn trout
#

Yeah! You probably had to be higher-power to get a cape, because it's such effort.

lethal stump
#

then how did a porter get one ? that’s a rather working-class job

hushed steeple
#

So would that mean flying boats cames before the capes?

thorn trout
#

...Maybe he's just special

#

Actually no wait

hushed steeple
#

I wonder how interconnected the stories of Journey and Sky are

thorn trout
#

I think it would be more "you have to provide the things yourself". As long as you give them the materials and light desired, you can get a cape done?

short owl
#

Maybe it's like security. If you have a duty that would require a cape, you can usually get a cape

fierce spade
#

maybe they were just powerful items, possbly rare enough to be family heirlooms or sumn

compact olive
#

What evidence are we using to imply the capes the spirits had were more than regular cloth?

lethal stump
#

hmm idk
maybe this is my worldbuilder/storyteller showing through but the Vibes of this is « ancient art passed down through generations »

thorn trout
#

None, just headcanoning

#

Well. Also that they harness the power of light and let's you fly, but

fierce spade
#

maybe they used them for another purpose

lethal stump
#

other than being fabulous

compact olive
#

So are adding in the head canon that we actually DO purchase the capes from the stars?

lethal stump
#

but considering our recent hypothesis that Elders, Ancestors, and Skids are all connected to the stars in some capacity, it wouldn’t be nonsensical to think the capes had some kinda ability to fly

#

also yeah, that would make sense with the direction this is going in, Oz

hushed steeple
#

Do you think our capes are different from the ancestors?

lethal stump
#

but then of course, why don’t the elders have capes
pPopcorn
yes tsadi has a cape but it’s not a flappy cape like ours/ancestors’

compact olive
#

Okay. In this line of thinking all cosmetics are “headcanon” or just the capes?

hushed steeple
#

Cause we use winged light but they don't have that, I think

#

Cause when we first play sky, we go to isle and find winged light, which gives us our cape for the first time

#

but considering our recent hypothesis that Elders, Ancestors, and Skids are all connected to the stars in some capacity, it wouldn’t be nonsensical to think the capes had some kinda ability to fly
what hypothesis? do you have a message link?

lethal stump
#

indeed
idk, my view of this funky theory is that the fabric is imbued with light somehow
this is just us messing around

#

it was a series of messages

#

let me try to find it

hushed steeple
#

But is it made of fabric? When we die we lose our cape

#

Idk

fierce spade
#

it can be diferent for both

hushed steeple
#

Maybe its pure light

#

an interesting detail when our light is drained, it initiate from the top to bottom rather than from the source to the top

lethal stump
#

oh, true sani
maybe the ancestors have light capes like we do

hushed steeple
#

Yeah maybe

lethal stump
#

afterall, the spirits themselves are light

#

they aren’t physical beings

#

even if they once were in their lives

#

if they even were

fierce spade
#

I think its logical to assume that what is now a spirit was once alive

frail hearth
#

But is it made of fabric? When we die we lose our cape
i feel like it's made of winged light, it goes away only when we lose them

#

with them i mean the WL)

fierce spade
#

unless you look at things from an animism/related beilief POV

hushed steeple
#

But that could also mean skykids capes are made of pure light, which could explain why we can charge it. But the ancestors capes were both material binded with light, which is could explain why they needed other means to charge their capes.

fierce spade
#

but they all seem to have been actual people rather than concepts/things given a personification

lethal stump
#

oh, i was saying what if spirits weren’t physical in their lives
although thinking of it now it doesn’t make sense lmao

hushed steeple
#

Maybe when die their souls become stars?

fierce spade
#

yeah thats what my thought usually was before coming to the theory chat

thorn trout
#

That's what Orbit suggests. Somewhat?

fierce spade
#

what IS orbit??? like is it explained somewhere?

lethal stump
#

and thus we circle back to my comparison with ancient greek mythos

thorn trout
#

I mean, they die. They definitely aren't stars, not like the elders. and yet, you see them in orbit too.

hushed steeple
#

Cause they were actual living people who had lives, had children. But when they die they go "back" to megan and their soul becomes a star as a memory

fierce spade
#

honestly you can compare sky to several diferent mythos and spiritualities

thorn trout
#

Oriaan, have you gone through Eden??

fierce spade
#

yes

#

I juts went thru my 6th time lmao

lethal stump
#

it’s a Big Floaty Thing In The Sky

fierce spade
#

ohhh is orbit like

thorn trout
#

Oh sorry i completely misinterpreted what you said XD

frail hearth
#

thinking about it, spirits are in a constellation, and what are constellations? stars together

fierce spade
#

the place with the door?

lethal stump
#

part of me feeling like orbit is a nebula
it seems to be where everything star-related comes from or returns to

compact olive
#

They are stars

frail hearth
#

i think orbit is or is inside megabird

lethal stump
#

circlehead spaghetti monster

fierce spade
#

I think orbit is where you would find megabird rather

#

Megabird is some weird creator deity type figure in my view point, kind of primordial in a sense

lethal stump
#

we see her(?) looking down on orbit, it seems, so i feel like she’s outside of it

#

orbit is only a tiny nebula in the entire universe that is her realm

thorn trout
#

I always figured that thing of light we go into IS a part of Megabird.

hushed steeple
#

but why would she be only a subset of her own realm?

compact olive
#

Orbit is the peak of the beacon. It’s exactly what it’s named after. A planet’s orbit. That’s why there’s still hints of blue. The atmosphere below

hushed steeple
#

nevermind

lethal stump
#

subset ? i’m saying she’s the size of the universe, and orbit is tiny compared to her

compact olive
#

Megabird is shown to be passed the orbit.

hushed steeple
#

but the form she takes is less than of her realm

#

it could be not this is our perception of her, as we can not comprehend fully

#

that*

lethal stump
#

i think the credits scene is the closest we can get to showing she’s the size of the universe
planets pale in comparison to her

hushed steeple
#

if she was the size of the universe we wouldn't be able to view her, because we are inside of her universe

thorn trout
#

Megabird is. Everything, basically

lethal stump
#

that’s what the credits scene is
zooming out to see the universe

#

we can’t see her in her full form outside of the credits bc we are « in » her so to speak

hushed steeple
#

but you can not do that within a location inside the universe

compact olive
#

If we are trying to look at it realistically, a Star child is the size of a child. A manta is the size of a manta.... each one of these spirits makes up a portion of her body... she’s huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

#

If you look at her compared to a planet... you know how many mantas and kids it would take to make that light visible?

hushed steeple
#

we can’t see her in her full form outside of the credits bc we are « in » her so to speak
yeah, so there would be no way of knowing her real form

#

subset ? i’m saying she’s the size of the universe, and orbit is tiny compared to her

lethal stump
#

the closest we have is the credits scene, and before we get anything more, this is what we have

thorn trout
#

We are all just living inside Megan

lethal stump
#

anyways, gotta peace
ttyl

thorn trout
#

...Which sounds weird out of context

hushed steeple
#

but you can not say she is the size of the universe

#

because we wouldnt be able to know that

compact olive
#

I don’t think she has a specific form (only what we interpret the shape of the toilet flushing motion as a bird) because we ARE her.

#

It’s like a skin cell trying to comprehend what a human nose looks like

hushed steeple
#

yeah Oz

#

Ok so, are the elders the "gods" or is megan the "god"?

#

cause the elders seem to have their roles, so maybe they're demigods?

#

But then what is megan?

#

Is she just a celestial body, the mother of the gods?

fierce spade
#

it could be both in the way that megan is a primordial entity creator deity and the elders have come from megan yet are still deities

#

the concept of a deity has alot of variations throughout various cultures and thus the way they work and are organized does as well

compact olive
#

Elders are (if a hierarchy is being taken into account) “larger” stars than the ancestor stars.

hushed steeple
#

Hm yeah

compact olive
#

Megan/Megabird are ALL of the stars

hushed steeple
#

She is us, we are her pFIRE

compact olive
#

An ancestor star might be a toe nail on a foot 🦶. The elder star might be the foot on that leg 🦵...Megan is a running 🏃‍♀️ person

hushed steeple
#

:O

frail hearth
#

alright i get it now, good explanation lmao

hushed steeple
#

Lol

dapper copper
#

so there was king, corrupted king, prince, corrupted prince, strange light kid

#

i saw on concept art

thorn trout
#

Hello lurking sky moth. You wanna talk about Alef/Resh? 😄

compact olive
#

Corrupted prince?

frail hearth
#

wait corrupted prince 👀

compact olive
#

🤔

dapper copper
#

yes

#

there was prince (normal)

fierce spade
#

Is all concept art confirmed canon tho?

dapper copper
#

and a black

#

idk

#

but

#

if i remember good

fierce spade
#

is it on Tom Zhao's site?

hushed steeple
#

Was it explicitly referred to as corrupt prince tho?

#

Not all I believe

frail hearth
#

or

dapper copper
#

yeah

#

but there ws second

frail hearth
#

do you have it anywhere

#

or

hushed steeple
#

How do you make a text spoilers?

dapper copper
#

in 7 days of sky elders on twitter

compact olive
#

Please show

hushed steeple
#

How do you cover a text?

frail hearth
#

no need for spoilers here lol

hushed steeple
#

Oh

dapper copper
#

other

frail hearth
#

but || on each side of the text

dapper copper
#

wait

hushed steeple
#

Well i was gonna ask something about the next season thats why

!textspoiler

pastel brookBOT

To spoiler tag text, highlight your text and select “Mark as spoiler”, or type || on either side of your text ||like this||

frail hearth
#

beta ain't allowed

hushed steeple
#

Oh ok

dapper copper
#

This one?
@hushed steeple oops yes on the photos ar these concepts

frail hearth
dapper copper
#

yeah

pastel brookBOT
#

bruh... talking about hacks and hackers is against the rules @dapper copper

dapper copper
#

they are hiding it

#

in the files

frail hearth
#

HUH

dapper copper
#

i can't type who found this light mask

fierce spade
#

I mean its entirely possible that those are diferent states of the same character and what not

#

or just drafts, or stuff to make sillouhete(idk ow to spell smh) easier

frail hearth
#

also what the bot said, talking bout datamining and stuff is against the rules

fierce spade
#

alot of the stuff in concept art isn't rlly lore stuff, like alot of it is but alot of is just character design stuff

dapper copper
#

momo sky found giant king's or prince's mask statue in eden oob

frail hearth
#

oh yeah that's interesting

hushed steeple
#

Concepts aren't necessarily canon, so we can't really base our theories on that

fierce spade
#

I mean its fun to do so

#

but like

#

alot of it isn't rlly even stuff that can be used based on it just being character design work

frail hearth
#

i was thinking of it being a big statue or their actual mask

hushed steeple
#

What was the exact text that said the prince/king was not there in the way we think?

fierce spade
#

I just found an image literally called backstory timeline

#

I-

compact olive
#

Wait where’s the corrupted prince?!

fierce spade
#

it may not be confirmed canon but its something solid for once

hushed steeple
#

What image?

#

We don't know SkyShrug

hushed steeple
#

Ohh

fierce spade
#

yeah ✨

compact olive
#

He’s a king in that story when he’s corrupted

hushed steeple
#

Yeah i remember that

lethal stump
#

oh, that backstory is no longer canon
it’s a good jumping off point tho

fierce spade
#

my day is ruined and my dissapointment is immeasurable

lethal stump
fierce spade
#

im gonna read it with the ✨prtty pictures✨

#

so wait was ALLLLLLLL of it scrapped?

dapper copper
#

explain this

lethal stump
#

we don’t know ALLLLLL of it was scrapped
but in general it’s not canon

dapper copper
short owl
#

Not all scrapped, but nothing we can trust to be cannon

dapper copper
#

and this

lethal stump
#

it’s not the current story
