that's just what the dictionary gives me when trying to translate the kanji, you could think of it as "middle of a storm" probably
but it references stormy weather rather than "eden", at least until the final section
to be clearer about it though: they use "stormy region" in the help dialogue that tells you how to get more ascended candles, where in english it says "eye of eden"
"original sin" is what pops up as the title card for the area when you step into stormlock, like how "Forgotten Ark" and "Sanctuary" shows up when you enter those parts of golden wasteland and daylight prairie specifically
