the statues in eden/orbit all share this righteous hand placement with what seems to be the red crystals that have been known to harvest and obtain energy potentially stored in them. Wanting to be known as the main source of power for the civilization, the eye of eden was meant to be the key to expand the industrial flourishment even further, becoming advanced even if the power was gained for such selfish desire (elders/king). Obviously, this upset the natural order and led the power to be corrupt and ending the previous civilization before the children bonked into existence. My speculations for sky's lore stitches together with Journey's plotline especially with the similar morals that they share including the effects of a growing industrial civilization. Eye of eden is basically the peak of the destruction that was left by the past population, although it's intentions at first was a place of modern serenity. wait serenity isnt the right worfeiogjqerpog;qre;,

there's a big enough problem of people shaming others for their theories and talking down to them as if their ideas are less than another's, documents like that only add to the problem. the structure of reviewing and declining entries because they don't meet your personal criteria is inherently unwelcoming and exclusionary. pinning it adds a certain kind of validity that the behavior is okay when it's not. That's why the request was declined.
